Huh. I just realized that food no longer affects settler production. When and why did they change that?
I abandoned 4 when G&K came out. Settlers have always been a hammer thang as long as I've been playing 5. You pick settler, food calc is shutdown and growth ceases. When building settlers you should always go full-on production mode for those turns (unless for some reason you're dying for GPT). Ignore starvation, just produce. It's possible it was different pre-G&K.

Why that is I cannot say. If they previously included food in the settler production calc in 5, it's possible there were sploitz that had to do with temporarily boosting food to pump out settlers very quick. Maritime CSs are one possible source. I hear that pre-G&K they gave bigger food bonuses to both the cap and other cities in the civ. That's some crazy shit for ICS, I can see why they pared that back.

Anyhow, now it's hammers only for settlers.
I am mesmerized by all of Hank's gifs though.
Indeed. I don't click the youtube videos (except a few like the ones uraizen posts since they are usually about games and not emo music videos), but always gotta watch those gifs!

Also I heard Indignate is going to have sex with his sister. Confirm or deny?

I'd much rather they made food count as only half a hammer for settlers or... something. It's pretty lame as-is.

I don't know, it doesn't bother me because in the 5-way of looking at things, I see food in terms of growth and tiles worked/specialists. Hammers are exclusively a production thing, and maybe part of the 4-to-5 streamlining was to look at food similarly.

If food had a kind of hidden production to it with settlers (or military units, or whatever) in 5, it may imbalance things somewhat on a tile-by-tile hammer/apple/coin assessment. My guess off-hand would just be that they want to limit the versatility of food, it's addressing some perceived play imbalance. No way it's arbitrary, I guess that's what I'm saying.
This is legit my most favorite song ever.
One night we were playing Red Faction Guerilla deathmatch online, probably the only 3 people online for that game. It was more "one person gets the rebuild gun, the other two try to destroy everything while the rebuilder rebuilds and tries to prevent destruction" than deathmatch. Anyway, I had that song on repeat for 3 hours straight. It was amazing.
Silent Hill Rising with Pyramid Head as the main character.

Make this now.
I WANT.

That sounds like god-tier fun, Hankums!
Hrm I feel like playing silent hill now wish I kept silent hill hd copy
So do I. I'd go out and grab a copy but every game store within like, 50 miles of me is picked clean because of tax refund money.

hey lil bro :)

Was the fog the only problem with SH HD? I mostly didn't get it because they left The Room out, and I'm pretty much the one guy on the planet who liked that game.
Also I heard Indignate is going to have sex with his sister. Confirm or deny?
I do have I sister that I've never met, so maybe that can happen.
On chp 3 of el shaddai and I have zero clue of whats going on something about angels
There's fallen angels and you have to bring them back and it's taken 300 years and Lucifer's designer jeans.
wiki the book of enoch :)
I was thinking about it, but then I didn't care enough.
Yes.

Again, he is kind of a boring person. And super Christian. So a party wouldn't work for him.

Uncle Jake Heart can come as long as he doesn't call himself Uncle Jake Heart. That's creepy.

If I ever get married, I'll head down South so you can throw my party, only then can you call yourself Uncle Jake Heart.
Then throw the b-party without him! This guy getting married is being a complete d-bag for not having a b-party. The b-party isn't just for him, but for everyone in the group. Being "Super Christian" shouldn't be a reason to not have one. Shit you can all just get a hotel room and play Risk with some booze for all I care (I went to a b-party that was this, super lame until we made it so that each soldier lost costed a drink).

Make it happen for the rest of the bunch, take charge and hit up dem maid of honors, they can help out in creating a fun wedding friend circle :D

Don't know why, but I love weddings. Gives me an excuse to dress snappy and dominate the dance floor. Chicks love a sharp dude that dances.

SH:HD does not use the original source, but actually a super buggy beta build of the original game to "HD" it. The problems with the game are distractions, but not bad enough to ruin the experience of the game. If you were to purchase it, get the PS3 version as that is the only one that has been patched with better fixes. The x360 patch was so bad that they didn't release it :p So x360 users have a pretty buggy game but still playable.

Try to pay no more than $20 for the collection. Also avoid SH: Downpour. That game may have SH easter eggs, but it is far from an actual Silent Hill game. If there was no SH in the title, you would have never guessed it was one.
oh man i want to play risk now
I really want to try Risk Legacy. Think it'd be a good game to bring to work this year.

last version i played was the 3012 AD one or something. the moon was an extra continent, basically.

i mean, it was awful but thats why is Risk fun to begin with.
Guys, we all know that Axis & Allies is a much better board game.
Takes too long for a planting camp. We need to clear the table for supper, y'know?
It's something I can live with don't click it, whoknows.
I will not. He's not worthy of the view I would give him.

Also, planting camps - being commonly set in large, open clearcuts and in mountain foothills - are prone to sudden and heavy gusts of wind. And while that is hazardous to a game of Catan, it will flat-out end a game of Axis & Allies. And force me into 20 minutes of search through the mud for lost pieces.
Guys, I'm leaving now for like TWO and a HALF days.

What are you going to do without me posting Leda all over the place?
:( noooooooooooooo
