We're gonna have to roshambo to figure out who's gonna get that vinyl. And I am very, very good at roshambo.
:nottalking:

Are you talking PC or 360/PS3...Cause on the PC, it's one of the prettier looking games out there. Then again PC > Console. :D

I'm about 12 hours into it, and I agree with Frosty about DA:O's story being better than ME2.

If it helps at all, I had a human noble (knight). Once I had most of the party members available to me, I always ran with Morrigan, Wynne, and Lelianna. I turned Lelianna into an archer. (Which is what I was talking about with using an archer all the time and wishing I'd made one of those instead of a knight/tank...)

360.
I feel like JolietJake is a guy that gets a lot of nosebleeds.
His fingers have zit crust on them.

I hope a mouse gestures update comes soon. It's hard to browse on firefox without them.
Just get it at Best Buy...It's $39.99 for the Reg, and $49.99 for the LE after the RZ text Code.
Why spend cash when I can use Gamestop credit (or beg you for it)? ;)
Playing on 360. Any pro-tips on setting tactics / combat slots? Thats the thing I'm finding most overwhelming. Also, any ideas on how to deal with the gigantic hordes of 20+ enemies that attack at once?
It's an RPG...Reload a previous save game and pray you get a ton of Saving Throws?

In my time played so far, I do not recall getting more than 7 or 8 enemies in any given pull.

Well my Yorkshire Puddings turned out better than I expected last night. I don't think Gordon Ramsay would've approved of my efforts with his recipe though.

Saving throws?

You're a donkey!
Saving throws?
Sure...From Wiki:

In role-playing games, a saving throw is a roll of dice used to determine whether magic, poison, or various other types of attacks are effective against a character or monster.

They are used to represent the character's ability to avoid or resist the threat, such as by dodging a trap, or being able to resist the effects of a poison. For this reason, they are often modified by appropriate attributes such as dexterity, constitution, wisdom or luck. Magical equipment or spells can also modify saving throw values. A successful saving throw typically either negates or reduces the effectiveness of the effect being saved against.

Saving throws are represented as a numeric value that often changes as the character advances in experience. In order to successfully make a throw, the character must roll dice, achieving a result based on the calculated value of the saving throw which is compared against a success value. Under different RPG game systems, the roll and/or the success value may have modifiers added or subtracted to determine the outcome.

I never used tactics or combat slots. I just let my mages fuck shit up while the knight drew attacks and the thief nailed people with arrows.

Damn you guys have way too much time to game...I'm like 5hrs in, still on Disc 1.

Firefox 3.6's persona's are pretty damn cool!
Sure...From Wiki:
[nerd]In D&D 4th Saving throws are almost a 50/50 shot with possible modifiers. 1-9 is fail, 10-20 is sucess.[/nerd]
Lost Odyssey. Waaaay better. I still think XIII is great though.
I need to restart that, since I haven't the slightest clue where I left off on it. That was a pretty fun game.
I didn't like Dragon Age at first but its really starting to grow on me. I just wish I would've played it before Mass Effect 2 as its a major technological step back.
I got hooked, until I started playing Fallout 3 and FFXIII.

What's this RZ text code you speak of? May have to go pick up that and Assassins Creed II with my gift card for just a bit over initial cost of ACII.

Why does one of my roommates insist on trying to secretly watch Porn while on his laptop in the living room? I haven't said anything to him about it because I don't really care, but this is like the 3rd or 4th time I have walked out into the kitchen to see porn on the screen and then you can hear the frantic key clicking trying to get it off the screen. I just don't get it.

By the way JolietJake, the mother of a Murray State basketball player died in the wreck that inconvenienced you this morning.
My copy of Traffic came in a double-wide case when i ordered it used a year or so back.

A. Because it's a shitty movie in the first place.
B. 3D is stupid

And there you have it. I was wondering who would mention it first.
Anyone who says something like that has never felt a breast since they stopped breast feeding at 13.
And there is the real reason no one mentioned it. It took a JJ post to get this response.
