Just got back from Best Buy where I picked up Resistance 3 for $9.99 after using a $20 coupon found in the June issue of @Gamer Magazine. The game was marked on the shelf for $34.99 but rang up as $29.99.

The magazine can be bought at Best Buy for $4.99 or you can sign up for the Gamers Reward Zone for $14.99. Signing up subscribes you to the magazine for a year and you are also eligible for the $20 gift card for pre-ordering certain titles (details found in another thread).

EDIT:
Here's a list of the other coupons in June's Issue.

NEW:
Deadliest Warrior: Ancient Combat - $20 off (PS3/X360)
Dragon Age II - $15 off (PS3/X360)
Resistance 3 - $20 off (PS3)
Soul Calibur V - $20 off (PS3/X360)
SSX - $30 off (PS3/X360)

PRE-OWNED:

MLB 11:The Show Pre-Owned - $20 off (PS3)
Any Pre-Owned Game $29.99 or above - $10 off (shows PS3 and X360 game but no mention of system)

ACCESSORIES:
Tritton AX Pro Gaming Headset - $40 off (PS3/X360/PC/MAC)
I think you signed up for the digital version. I know there was the option when you signed up.
I don't know what happened when I signed up but the girl (noobie) who signed me up almost got fired on the spot for her actions.

Me: I would like to sign up for the Best Buy Reward Zone Program the Unlocked version for $15 a year with the @Gamer Magazine and Coupons.

Her: Ok I will get you on this register here. (Supervisor stands beside her.)
Can I have your information please?

Me: I give her the info. She gets everything wrong. Not once but twice.

Her: Ok I think I have it now please confirm by pressing accept on the screen.

Me: You spelled everything wrong and thats not even my address. She entered everything wrong and used a different address.

Her Supervisor: What's wrong with you? He has stood here and spelled everything out for you and you still get it wrong! Why?

Her: I partied to hard last night.

Her supervisor: You are 19.

Her. So what? I don't care. (Got a little bit cocky here. Starting playing with her hair and pulled her cell phone out to text.)

Her supervisor: Do you want wrote up on your first week on the job. This gentleman has stood here for a good 10 minutes. Finish the transaction or I am writing you up.

Her: Oh I think the computer stopped working. (She unplugged something. Supervisor looks at her and she plugs it back in.) Oh look it came back on. (She logs out.) She says I can't help you the computer logged me out.

Her supervisor: Log back in. This is your last warning.

Her: Logs back in and finishes the transaction. Forgets to give me my card. (This was the last straw for the supervisor.) He pulls her aside has a little chat with her (she is about to cry) and he hands me the card. (I think she either got warned, wrote up, or fired because after that they put a now hiring sign up.)

I still didn't get my magazine and they said starting Spring 2012 all subscriptions will be digital and that stores don't and won't carry magazines anymore. Bull crap. So yeah I am a little disappointed at Best Buy. Lol.
^Ouch. She probably should have been canned.
Yeah! Does anybody have the number for @Gamer Magazine or Best Buy Customer Service. I logged into my @Gamer account and it says I am suspended.

Thats pretty effed up,why would a person act like that on their first week at a new job?I've had pretty good luck at my Best Buy lately,so i'm grateful for that.
...and there's always that guy who is behind the curve and acts like he found gold. I guess you are THAT guy. Why did you feel you needed to start a new thread when this was already being discussed (and OP updated) in the main June BB @Gamer Coupons thread already? On top of that you even listed the other coupons as if the main thread doesn't exist.
I obviously didn't see the other thread. I did a search and nothing came up. I didn't start this thread knowing that

As for listing the other coupons in the mag... thought I'd be helpful. I edited my 1st post before you posted and before I saw the other thread.

I also didn't post this to feel good about myself, which is obviously your motivation behind posting deals. That thought never even crossed my mind, stop projecting.

Lastly, I made a mistake. It happens, but you're still THAT guy. You didn't make a mistake... its your personality so keep on being awesome on the internet. :applause:

Dont listen to that guy, obviously this post has been a big help to many. (not taking any credit from the hard work enuf puts in the monthly thread, its much appreciated from him)

Yeah and next month I'll know better, he'll still be him.

Picked Resistance 3 up at $9.99 at my local BB by just bringing the magazine up to the counter and having them scan the coupon inside. They didn't need to see a BB Rewards card, have me buy the magazine or anything. Just scanned the coupon and I put the magazine back.

Also picked up Locoroco 2 for the PSP at $5.50. I also saw PSP headphone/media control switch bundles on the shelf going for $5.00 each.

I appreciate your post kulsechsky, it saved me a few bucks. Some people are way too serious. You didn't steal food out of someone's mouth did you?

Just picked this up today while in the neighborhood on business. What a great deal. Proceeded to spend the entire afternoon playing the online co-op until a ways into the NY mission with a friend I hadn't gamed with in months. Good stuff.

Your not helping the magazine any if you don't buy it and technically, it is considered stealing. I've seen cops called for less at retail stores.

I think it rhymes with wits.

I'm glad she got fired. Incompetence is one thing. Bad attitude is another.

By the way was the manager old? Of course it doesn't matter that she's 19. As if 19 year olds don't drink.

A quick note for anyone who buys this: SKIP the initial patch, install the disc data, THEN log back in a install the patch. Apparently, if you install the patch first it will corrupt the disc install and you will have to reformat your HDD. I just lost 3 years of save data today because of this bullshit.

I think this is happening to me. After I did the install all I get is a black screen when I put the disc in. Anyone know a work around for this other than reformatting the HD?

Wow...thanks for the heads up. Looked it up online, and, by most accounts, you can delete the corrupted game install without reformatting. It just takes 45 minutes to an hour to delete for some reason. So you might have actually reformatted for no reason. Still a pretty crazy and annoying glitch, though.

whats the cover for this look like and when are you suposed to get it? I just realized that I dont think i got an issue since the april one.. with prototype 2 on it. Can i just get one from the mags in store if i prove i have a subscription? I do recall seeing a magazine with Boarderlands on the cover i think but i cant find it. Is that it?

btw that patch thing is utter BS... man PS3 has so many issues >_

They probably won't give you a magazine copy for free, but if you're an unlocked member, they might scan the coupons from a store copy for you (depending on the store/employees).

I was lucky to get one for free cause I said I thought I could keep the coupon. So they kept the coupon and gave me antoher magazine and told me to do the survey which I did :)

Whoa, how did this thread get so large without anyone mentioning this sooner? It looks like everyone bought this game but no one's gotten around to playing it yet because of our ginormous backlogs.

That really sucks man. :( I still haven't opened my copy. I'll definitely keep that in mind though.

Wow, I had no idea about this and simply permitted it to patch first prior to the install, as it wanted to do. Fortunately nothing happened to my system, I guess I got lucky. I would've been breathing fire if I'd lost my GT5 data alone, nevermind the ~100 other save files on there.
Just a heads up I did the fix from YouTube and it zapped my online pass. Buyer beware.
Go to your download history and re-download, I think this happened to me as well.

i saw the post right after i installed the game. I downloaded/installed the patches first then installed the game data and i guess i got lucky too everything seems to have gone ok. let me also remind everyone it's a REALLY good idea to have a USB flash drive around and back up your non-copy protected saves at least once a week it might help you out later if something goes wrong.

Good deal. I just picked it up, and I am enjoying singleplayer a lot.

Is the online multiplayer still decently active enough to justify redeeming the online pass?

You guys are only good so far because you haven't tried to uninstall the game. When you try to uninstall, the system will hang and the uninstall process will corrupt your hard drive. I am certain of this because I bought the game for $20 during Amazon's black friday sales.

However, you can still luck out like me and not have to completely reformat your hard drive. If you go into maintenance mode and choose one of the "clean up options" then it will just clean up all of the corrupted files and the rest of your hard drive will be fine.

Update: It is Safe Mode, then Option 3
