Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

To those wondering about the clearance after 50%, Target's markdown pattern is generally either 30%-50%-75%-Salvage, or 15%-30%-50%-Salvage. Then seasonal items, most reliably Christmas, go 50%-75%-90%. So things that start off at 15% usually don't go to 75%. Gamers might not notice this, because the first step in electronics is usually 30%. Other areas, like HBA and especially Consumables, tend to start off at 15%.

Today I picked up Jak X Racing, Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition (my first and only PH Xbox title), 24: The Game (for the story), and Metroid Pinball (no I didn't get from TRU for 2 cents like everyone else) for $9.98 each.

Saw C&C 3 for 41.98, every Fantastic Four, Shrek the Third, and Harry Potter for 30% off, MLB 2k7 and All Pro 2k7 on PS3 and Xbox 360 for 30% off. There's an HP printer dock and camera combo half off for around $80 that I've got my eye on for a gift, as well.

I see. Thanks for the insight yet again. I wish I knew this before as I think those memory cards started at 15% off. I also wish I thought to ask that lady about them as I bet they were already in her cart.

If you're looking for cheap 360 faceplates, I picked up the Silver, Woody, and Blue Tribal for $2.34 each today in Fullerton. Original price is $18.99, so I assume this is the lowest they'll be before dropping out. I grabbed an extra of each in case any CAG's have trouble finding one.

If you have more targets, keep looking. Around here two had none, one still had them for 19.99 and one marked it down to 9.98. You might get lucky.

If you were at the Springhurst Target, they were moved to a top shelf about 5 aisles down from the games. I saw them @ 19.99 Sunday.

Two weeks ago a local Target had Need for Speed for the PS3 clearanced at 20.99$...today its in that new "value" game isle at 29.99$. They all have sticker residue where the clearance price tag used to be! I've never seen anything "unclearanced" before. Wonder if I should wait for All Pro Football to go back up to 29.99$ or quickly buy it now. It also sounds like the 9.98 price for the joystick is extremely YMMV, as most believe that 19.99 is the lowest that their pricing policy will allow. I scanned one last week and it was 19.99, this week it's "not in the system" which leads me to believe they are going to be salvaged soon. To bad too, at 10$ I would have bitten.

I went to Super Target (Lees Summit, MO) they have 2 arcade sticks left for $10 each. Yes, i thought to buy it but still noth worth $10 in my book ... Also, Sams Club have 12 months XBOX LIVE w/ Crimson Skies (XBOX) for $55

I did the same thing - bought the arcade stick at 19.99 just to make sure that I had one in hand. Then I'll just see if it goes down to the next price level, then hopefully buy another one and return it with the old receipt... This is really the only way you can get a "price adjustment" on a Target clearance item.

Also, I recommanded everyone wait for Expansion version coming out November cos possible Konami package original version w/ expansion verison together for low price MSRP $20.

Yea the Plus version will be $20 so even if they release a version with both games it will probably be $40. It has been confirmed that the Plus version is stand alone on amazon.com and by importers.

The damn 360 arcade sticks went straight from $19.98 to salvage at my closest store, no 75% off. They had 4 or 5 of them on the weekend and they were all gone Monday save for the one I had hidden. It rang up "item not found". Bah... I think they really could have sold them all at $9.98 for sure. I'm not sure what they get for them at salvage, but it doesn't seem worth the trouble.

Also wanted to pickup American Idol Bundle for the PS2 but can't seem to find them anywhere anymore. My store had like 20 at one point and now they gone.

I picked up 2 MGSortable OPS for $7.00 ea at Kmart, they were both tagged $7 although they had to be manually taken down at the register from $19 something. Probably a pricing error I guess

they take the loss and move on. they'll get the money back from another department. im sure they either sent it to the store that sold them at $20 or sold to goodwill. the next time you see it ring up as item not found, have them use the handheld gun, it should show up how much it was previously before being taken out of the system. thats how i got elder's scrolls for the original xbox for $1.xx

I got one for $10.04 and I feel ripped off. It was a good concept, but the original controller is so much easier to use. Mine is going back.
