This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

At Target I found a Wii movie disc thing from Activision marked "AS IS" for 0.01. I don't care about the disc, but it's nice to have some brand new white Wii cases.

And I'm gonna check out Def Jam.
 
Just came from the Targets at White Plains and the Palisades Mall. The PS3 NBA Street HC wasn't ringing on their portable scanners so they priced it based on the 360 version which happened to still be 30 dollars :cry:

There was numerous stacks of 360 NBA Street HC for $30, a couple of DS games for $5, STALKER for $15 and an out of place Mario Kart Double Dash for the GC for $10. Ass loads of Yoshi's Island Guides as well for $7.

Was hoping to find more games at cut throat prices but I guess I'll have to wait another week or so.

I saw the same thing at the Target in La Crosse, WI. Nothing of interest, really.
 
Found Justice League Heroes (Xbox) $13.98

I know it's a lame version of UA with DC characters, but I've been waiting for this pricepoint, and it's BC with 360 now : )

Also found more (non-PH) copies of GRAW2 for 360, but they were $29.99, not the $7.50 some have reported.
 
found Def Jam Icon which rang up Item Not Found. They guy scanned it and said it was $12.28, so I ended up getting it hopin someone would trade me DOAX2 for it.

a. The next year's game comes out or...

b. The game has dropped under $20 (because it will eventually).

Picked up CoD4 PC for 9.99 and Black for 4.98 today. Saw Scarface for $13.98 (XB) but I figure itll drop lower in a few days. they had a ton in stock.

good call. thats why im thinking of keeping nba 2k6 (5$) instead of nbastreet homecourt (20$)
 
I picked up CoD2 for $9.98. Usually I would wait until $4.98 but there was only one left and I didn't want to risk it. STALKER is $14.98. I'm hoping it's $7.48 by the end of the week. Mine has like 5 copies, so if anyone wants a copy let me know.

And mine had medal of honor for the wii @ $24.98. They had a lot of stuff for $5, like Gun for the GCN. I passed.

Yeah, that's more valid for the Madden games. Still, my cheapass-instincts knew that APF 2k8 had already dropped to 29.99 and would most likely continue it's drop. I really wish I hadn't thrown away the receipts. Perhaps it's still in my inbox and not all is lost.
 
Picked up Splinter Cell Double Agent for 20.98. Also got DOA Xtreme 2 for that same price. And 2k Sports All Pro Football for 14.98. All for 360.
 
Found some new things on the clearance endcap at my Target today:

GBA Final Fantasy V - unmarked (I imagine $20.98 - all the new stuff was at 30%)

X360 C&C 3 was down to 50% off as well.

Considering the fact that the original prices at CVS are typically higher than those at Target, it more likely than not evens out in the end.
 
Off topic, I picked up a large plastic sword for absolutely no reason other than it looked cool and was $2 after the 75% off Halloween stuff discount. There were other cool things, like all that electronic Halloween crap Target had out two weeks ago (we bought a crawling head with arms and one of those candy bowls where the hand comes down on yours).

Gamewise: Stalker $14.98, a few COD2s (PC) $9.98 and the All Pro 2k8/Fantastic Four 360 deals everyone has reported.

This was at the Polaris store in Columbus, OH.

Off topic:
Well for you guys camping out for black friday and need a camping chair, target has some chaptains camping chairs in three colors at a low price of $4.48. I usally go out to midnight releases and such so I was really happy to find this at under $5. This is YMMV though since the target near my work has them for $6.XX. There is also a Easy-set gazebo marked down to $25.98 from $103.99.

On Topic:
Seems like all my local targets have is PS3 and PSP clearence games with only one target near me selling APF 2K8 (360) for $14.98. It looks like you guys are finding great deals for games, im pretty jealous haha. Oh yea and also I found two wireless guitars for the PS2 marked down to $13.XX.

Did a search of this thread didnt see it mentioned... Excite truck Wii 34.98.... Its worth $50 in my opinion but its one to watch now for sure.

I'll second Excite Truck. Worth every penny and very underrated. A lot more fun than Motorstorm. Don't wait too long to get it and miss out.
 
Yep, Excite Truck is a lot of fun. Probably a bit shallow for some but now that it's finally coming down in price it's worth it. I bought it at launch and have enjoyed it. Much better graphics than you'd expect, too...

Yeah that's true, CVS normal price is $2.99 a bag, Target is $2.11 a bag. 90% off at CVS is $0.29, 75% off at Target is $0.52 - $0.57 (some were more than $2.11 I guess).
 
Saw a DDR 360 bundle clearanced at $51 or so at a random Target near here. Could be nice if it stays in the case and continues to drop.

Also, Madden '07 for the 'Cube is clearanced at $9.98. Local Target had 30 or so copies.

My Target had this months ago for $15 on clearance (final price). I can't imagine it's even still in their computers now, as it wouldn't ring up for me after 3 or 4 price drops back then.

I think it's actually $20.98 which is 30% off of the current MSRP of $29.99. At least, that's what it was when I saw it earlier today. I'd buy it at 75% or $7.50, but $21 just seems like too much for a game I will play for an hour or so.
 
Transit Road Target in Williamsville/Amherst, NY had a fuck-ton of clearance games at a variety of prices. Had a ton - as in dozens of copies - of crap (50 cent, Marvel: Rise of the Imperfects, Eragon) for PS2 and X-box, but a few gems. I remember seeing (don't remember prices, I think most were at the first markdown)...

Last spring, some games were not clearanced at all stores, like mine for example. This included DOAX2, Dead Rising, Chromehounds, Condemned, Burnout Revenge. I'm still waiting for a good deal on Burnout and DR.

I'm surprised this thread isn't more active. I went to 2 stores on my break and found massive amounts of new clearance games. Some were mentioned above. I chose a bad day to leave my cell phone at home for various reasons and a camera was one of them. I needed a camera or pen and paper, but wrinting them down would have taken too long, as I can't remember a 3rd of them. All are starting at 30% off and I listed the prices that the clearance reduction comes off of in paranthesis. Alot was older stuff that is begging to be cleared out.

The following didn't drop: PS2 Burnout Dominator, 360 Bionicle, Call of Juarez, Godfather, The Outfit (only one of the 9.98 games group that didn't drop), PC Stalker.
