This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

YMMV, I bought Warhammer 40K: Dark Crusade for the PC for $9.99 at the Target @ Mundelein, IL two days ago. This is the stand alone expansion for WarHammer 40K (PC).

I can confirm that this is CoD2 as I have been to 3 targets in the past week and they all had CoD2 for the PC for $9.99. Hardly a deal. However, CoD4 is available for the PC now. ;) Infinity Ward wouldn't leave their PC peeps hanging in the dust like that.
 
It's so weird, i go to my target weekly and there's close to never any clearance games. I stopped by today during lunch and found the end aisle just smattered with cleareance games (mainly 360 games), most were not even in the glass cases for the past couple months. They all were still in the 20-25 dollar range, so i didn't pick any up. The list was:

tons of ds, 360, ps2, and psp games at my target. mostly inline with the stated prices.

all of their ddr games on every platform were starting to be clearanced, but still not too cheap.

i did find one amazing thing though. ddr mario mix. not only there, but clearanced! Paid 37 for it out the door.
 
I know this is going to sound ridiculous to some of you, but could someone tell me what "YMMV" means?
Anyway, I'm tempted to buy N3. I'm really drawn to this game for some reason.
 
There was a huge pile of Gamecube games at my target marked with a 4.96 as-is tag. As far as I know they are factory sealed games with the same shrinkwrap that normal games use, there is nothing wrong with these games.

They also had excite truck for Wii for around 35$ Anything else was probably not that notable.

My target just loaded up their clearance rack again...though, since it was the first round of 30% drop, the deals weren't too great, but not bad.

Someone on this site who worked for Target once told me that they do markdowns each Monday, but not every title gets marked down. So check every Monday I guess... I also want to pick that game up but not for $30... maybe $7.98 though :D

My Target has a shitload of FF XII's on the clearance shelf, so perhaps that will be drop soon (it rang up as $39.99).

Zelda: WW (GC) - $13.98 (bought, much better than a price I was quoted on CAG)

A few others as well, but not much new (or new to me). I stashed a copy of Korinopa and DOAX2 in case they drop again after the weekend, but I might not have had to - my store had almost 20 copies of DOA and 10 of Korinopa. Has anyone played Korinopa - it looked interesting, and a fun Marble Madness-ish game on the Wii sounds good at $13.xx if it drops again.

Did your Target have any more Zelda WW for the GC? If so, which one was it? I'm going to be down in Santa Ana this weekend and I can't find it anywhere up here in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, the one I bought was the last one. It's the Fullerton Target just off of the 57 at Yorba Linda. There's a random Target off of Imperial and Harbor in Brea I'll check out tomorrow - they tend to have better selections as they're sorta out of the way.
 
Utah CAG Division reporting -- Orem store shipped (almost) all their clearance game stuff off after only having it out for 2 weeks. They're getting aggressive there. If it doesn't sell after one price drop, out it goes. Anything above $20 stayed. If you were 19.99 or lower red tagged, YOU'RE OUT!

Houston, TX Galleria Target - Found All Pro Football for 360 for $15, about five left. I think I got the last Dirt for 360 for $42 and while that isn't much of a deal it's still $18 cheaper than I can get it anywhere else and I liked the demo a lot better than Sega Rally. They also had some ps2 DDR, I think Supernova 2, for $41 with the mat.

Finally picked up STALKER for $14.98. I really wanted to wait for the next drop, but a part of me just wants to get the 'quest' over with so that I don't have to make another 2 trips to check if the price went down $5

They also had the usual X360 closeouts including DiRT for $42 and Crash Of The Titans (already!) (GBA) for $20.98
 
Went in to Target today and was greeted with literally at LEAST 100 games on an end cap. About 25 NBA2K7 PS3 for 35? and shitloads of Wii games probably half the stuff but they are all still to high. Best "deals" were Farcry & happy feet for $14 but i dont care... NBA street 360 is still 30 nothing has dropped since I was in there the week before last.... Oh and they have Trama Center Wii for $34.98 and have about 5 copies on the shelf and probably 15 more in the case so hopefully it drops. I almost bought it at GS for $18 used during the 35% coupon but passed and kinda been wanting to play it. They sold both DDR bundles for 360 as well I was hoping they'd drop past $55 but damn people already bit.

All the Game display cases are bare and look terrible now...
 
Bought two Blitz: The League (360) today at $7.48. Pretty happy to find them at that price considering they're worth $22 at GameRush. :)

Clubhouse Games (DS) is marked at $20.98 on clearance. Definitely keeping an eye on that if it drops further - my store had 7 or so copies, so I might get lucky if they drop lower come Monday.

The Long Beach Target at the 405 and bellflower had about 3 or 4 copies today of Zelda WW for the cube when I looked for a Animal Crossing that I finally found at the Seal Beach (after going to 5 other stores this week) store and I got the last one:D
 
I found Metroid Prime Hunters for $24.48 today in Elizabethtown, KY along with a shitload of wii, 360 and ps3 games on an endcap in the video game section.

Whether or not it's going to drop will vary from store to store. One of the first stores in my area to have AllPro on clearance and to drop it to $14.98 has kept it there for a couple weeks while other stores catch up. I think we'll just have to cross our fingers and hope.
 
Mentor, OH Target was decent, at least relative to what I see at my Target.

:wii: Red Steel $20.98

Quite a bit more for PS2 that I didn't really pay much attention to. I'm hoping Excite Truck will get down towards the $25 range before I bite.
