Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

I just got back from 2 different Targets in Louisville. They have the Halo 3 limited edition controllers for 41.98.

I buckled and picked up a Star Wars Galaxies copy with all of the expansions for $4.98. It comes with a free month and I've always wondered how bad they screwed that game, so it'll be worth the $5 to play around for a month.

The "as is" sticker means those deals likely won't be found at any other store, as those are case-by-case discounts at the individual store manager's discretion. Are there any cuts, cracks, dents, or tears on the packaging, or anything missing? Did it seem as though the games might've already been opened and then returned? Those are probable reasons for the discount.

Godfather for Wii at $5 is a great deal!

Rich, what Target do you go to? I've hit almost every Target in the Richmond area. Most have the same things on clearance, but I find the best deals at the Targets on Hull Street and the one on Broad Street closest to the city. The only Targets I don't regularly go to are the one in Mechanicsville and the one up near Ashland.

hmm, i know peeling off restickered games isnt kosher b/c its stealing but what about peeling off clearance stickers so people dont snatch them from you? is that hunkydory?

I was hoping for the same thing at my store but someone bought up the last couple of copies they had this past week.

My store has a crapload of Tony Hawk and a few other movie based games if I remember right (for the Wii). I was holding off hoping everything would hit 75% off. If the PSP slim cables go under $10 I'll nab those.

well target has this history of just dropping items even if they are not 75% or 90% off. i remember one time i was watching these yamaha electronic drums from $44.99 to $0.00. they just suddenly dropped it out of the system. i even had them scan it with the handheld gun and still came out $44.99. im guessing they're supposed to send it to either another store or to sell to goodwill at that point. just make sure to just check every monday morning to see if it went down.

You know, what is up with this? We're in "the future." Why are tapes still 6 hours? I'm sure we could could go far beyond 8 hours by now, but for whatever reason, the 8 hour tapes never became the standard. I don't understand these shenanigans!

I can confirm the $14.98 price of DoAXBV2 and the 1600 live points cards at $10.00
