Target coupon- 5 dollars off 25 dollar purchase

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

I believe the component cables will let you play games on your HDTV and the AV cables will allow you to watch movies only.

The Mundelein, IL Target Video Game clearance section was almost entirely devoid of ANY video games that weren't PC on clearance. They had one TH LE left at $29.98, and nothing else except for PC games and Def Lepperd guitars. Last week there were stacks of WII, PS2, PSP and DS games, and a few scattered 360 games, but they are all gone.

It's clearance. Typically they last until stock sells out or they get shipped off to goodwill or back to manufacturer.

And the rest last a few weeks once they hit the lowest pricing tier (usually 75%, but YMMV by store and some drops end @ 50% off) and are then sent to Goodwill usually. Welcome to the confusion of Target clearancing.

Cant speak for most but the Targets I frequent have an endcap near the VG section and its not in the front its always in the back by the wall. I know my stores dont really give a shHH and they just throw them into a pile on a shelf.

It's possible, You can typically tell whats clearanced because of a little rectangular red sticker that is on the front of the game. Generally if its an older title you will see multiple layers of red stickers.

ok...so, from what I can remember at my target today.....
PS2 Rogue Galaxy, 9.98
GC Baten Kraitos: Origins 9.98 (marked, but out of system when scanned)
Everything else I saw was marked as previously posted here in the thread.

They also had Logitech PS2 wireless controllers..marked down from 39 to 29, but scanning at 24.99....so take that for what you will.

I stashed rogue galaxy and baten, I like my RPGs, should I pick them up?

I went to 2 Targets that I know had more than 4 copies of Rogue Galaxy. When I went today to see if they had dropped down to $9.98, they were gone! I also didn't find the psp component cables. I did see the a/v cables and they had dropped down to $9.98.

Maybe I will have better luck tommorrow.

I'll check again this afternoon. If I remember right, they were either just under $100 or just over. I'll confirm today.

If you go to your target, sometimes they are just around the corner from the clearence end-cap as they don't always fit there. I believe it's a Target exclusive similar to TH LE.

I wanted DOAX2 but I couldn't find it.

Just picked up a copy of Trauma Center for the Wii for $12.48 I was waiting for it to go to 75% off for a while. I also got an extra 10% off since my girlfriend works there very fun. There were also several copies of the Elder Scrolls: Oblivion expansion Shivering Isles for $4.98

The Target on 41 in Fort Myers, FL has 54 copies of Final Fantasy 3 DS for 9.98. They also had 6 or 7 copies that were still stickied at the 19.98 markdown. None of the surrounding Targets have any FF, so they must have shipped them all there. It's quite impressive to see.

No requests for me to pick one up for anybody cause I don't normally go that way. Just wanted to check out the CompUSA clearance debacle myself and the Target is right next door.
