This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items, or raincheck "scams." Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. Some info from BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include city, state, store, game, system and price. For example:
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
Super Soup Soufflé, Xbox 360, $4.98

Special thanks to Mephitical for this great tool for locating clearance titles which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

Here is a fairly easy way to check if your local Target has the games on clearance-- often games will not be tagged correctly. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Remember, the lowest known price will be posted since the listed item could be higher or lower at your store. Here are the current deals:

I found Ghost Recon 1 for $14.98 as well as DOA4 for $14.98. There were 3 copies of Stuntman marked at $14.98 as well, but I was looking for The Bigs on PS3 and didn't find it. I can still go back and purchase DOA4 or Ghost Recon if someone is willing to trade for The Bigs on PS3?

Well, they all had red stickers and the half red bubble tab, except Bioshock, on the cases. A few were on on endcaps, and most of them were on the pc shelve and the cheap game aisle.
 
For anyone with a baby, Target has pack and plays and shit like that on clearance big time. Some strollers are on clearance too.
 
Well the two Targets I went to this morning were a bust and had nothing. I might just go back to my "lucky" Target and pick up Stuntman. Can anyone else confirm The Bigs for PS3 on clearance anywhere?

Yeah I saw the same exact ones clearanced at my Target in Dumfries, VA. But I wanna say they were a little higher? Maybe $7.48 but they could have been $4.96 for some?

i finally figured out where all the stranglehold and lost planet pc titles went...goodwill....priced at 4.99 (green bay, wi, east side)...didn't pick any up, was looking for 360 games

Actually, cheap games on clearance. They're on clearance at my Target too. Those, plus an Xbox bowling game for $4.98, a few DS games (My Frogger for $10.48), and a few GBA games. Nothing really special though.

Target in Hayward, CA (Hesperian) had a couple of Ghost Squads in stock. Been looking for the game for a while and finally found it on clearance! Found 2 copies on clearance with As Is sticker for $12.97 I believe. They also had 3 other copies without a sticker and were on the shelf listed along with Garfield for $29.99 but not packaged along with the game.

Took it to the front cashiers and was surprised to find that the game scanned with the clearance price. Had checked on the self scanners and found they were not in the system. Had no trouble buying it there like I did at the other Hayward store.

I know for sure they were clearence. They had both the sticker and the little tag thing clipped on the shelf.
 
That's a good reminder, as I hadn't been to Goodwill in a while, and was able to pick up STALKER for $4.99 (while that Steam sale was going on, so I lucked out). In my area, of the 2 Goodwill's, one gets the Target goodies.

Just making sure. Your numbers ended in 9... also you quote Bioshock, which is not clearance.

I might wait too but I don't know for sure. I will go back and check the DCPI number provided and see what happens.
 
saw Baten Kaitos Origins and Farcry for Wii both scanned out of the system from the price scanner. so i went to get them checked at the electronics dept register and the gun says $29.99 for BKO and $4.98 for Farcry. i picked up farcry and left BKO. i was gonna price check cooking mama wii but it was hard enough for anyone to help me.

I guess they've been more expensive and are now clearanced there, but the games he quoted and their prices have been everday priced at those prices here since the cheap game section was set up months ago. However, the Xbox bowling game you mentioned was clearanced here. It dropped to 2.48 and then mysteriously went back to 9.99 so you better hurry and snag it!!!
 
I found that Tony Hawk was totally gone from Layton and Riverdale Utah stores. About 10 days ago each store had around 10+ copies of the game. Someone probably horded them. Oh well, what was actually on different from the limited edition vs the regular edition other than the slip case?

Nice that means management/price change at the store decided to sell them at a minor loss to the store. Good deal :p.

Eh nothing on clearance except I picked up the little ipod beat drum toy at target for 3.98.
 
Went last night and the stuntman Ps3's were gone they had plenty Tony hawks and one Godfather wii for $24.98. That drops ill pick it up. I also fell to one knee to find 3-4 DAXTER psp bundles behind the glass. I had the Team member scan them and it was still $199.99 :cry:
 
Went to the Fair Lakes Target in Fairfax, Va & found Stuntmant for 360 & ps3 both for $14.98 each. Tried to buy Meet the Robinsons 360 & it scanned $0 on price scanner so I took it the register. The clerk tried to ring it and she got the no info thing (probably because it was clearanced out like month ago down to at least $7.48) so she tried to ring it up $14.98 and I passed. Just in case someone else wants to try, the game may be back now on a endcap and I noticed they were about 5 or so behind the glass!
 
Thanks to whomever posted the THPG Limited Edition deal. I picked one up at the Greensburg, PA Target for $15 last night.

This'll be my first next gen Tony Hawk experience. Hope I'm not too rusty.

Either way, it'll be worth it.

So is it confirmed that Timeshift is a temp price cut or a future clearance? I am interested in this game for the PC if it hits $15 or less.

I was there last Saturday while visiting my parents. TH:pG was still $29.50. I got Virtua Tennis 3 for $19.99. There was nothing else tho.
 
Sweet, got the last Ghost Squad for 9.99 at the Mountain View Target. Didn't want to mess with the electronics guys so I just went up to the front registers. Other than that, only Cooking Mama for $20 and no clearance stuff at all.

Found another Ghost Squad on the clearance rack after they cleared it off the shelf weeks back, with a 'As Is' sticker for $12.95. Picked it up even though I already had one for a spare. I'll be thinking of a trade or I might just sell it off, not sure yet.
 
I saw something odd on the Wii endcap this morning while shopping... They had the sku on the shelf that said Ghost Squad/Garfield and right next to it they had one that said "Wii Endcap" or something like that and the price was $889.99!
 
Went to the Williamsville, NY Target and they had zilch for clearance games. They had a couple of DS games and a copy of Saints Row (I dont know the $), but thats it. Was trying to score an early copy of Burnout Paradise but came up empty.

Have you tried to get Ghost Squad from them at a cheaper price than 29.99?
 
taunton, ma had a bunch of monsetr house (gba) for around $9.98 and a copy of horsez (pc) for $2.54 haha

i think def jam icon for ps3/360 was still there for $15ish, as well as one or two copies of stranglehold (pc) for $6.50ish.
