This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

They will not price match clearance items from other Target stores. They will return it for you, but than they will not re-sell you the item either if it dropped in some cases.

Yeah they told me I could only buy back a returned clearance item when it makes it back to the shelves which could take anywhere from a minute to a couple of days
 
Huber Heights, Ohio store had 2 Castlevania's and about 4 Parappa the Rappers for 7.48 each, and one Syphon Filter Logan's Shadow for 9.98. All games are on PSP. I didn't notice any notable games for any other systems during my visit, but the PSP clearance selection lately has been excellent.

You sure it was Logan's Shadow and not Dark Mirror? $10 for Logan's shadow is EXCELLENT!

Same her, but at mine it was $19.89. That is why I am wondering if it dropped because I went there a couple of days ago.
 
Target in Orlando had Guitar Hero, Guitar Hero 2 game-only on clearance for 27.xx
Wasn't really much else, it was the one near the A&W.

Because it can still be in the system and a cashier refuse...

Picked up COD2 SE Platinum Edition for $4 after x360 coupon and American Idol for $20 after x360 and $5 coupons on Monday.

Is the COD2 SE PH the same as the GotY edition or is it just the original edition with a bonus DVD thrown in?

I've been looking for Final Fantasy (I) PSP and never found it. If someone could help please PM.
 
how are we supposed to take advantage of these clearance prices because at my target everything is priced at regular price and barely any of the games listed here are at that price

Does anyone know roughly when Target dumps the clearance stuff at Goodwills?

Im just curious because on Monday I stopped in one and they had a pile of some PS2 Naruto (U-something) Chronicles 2 for $8.99 and was curious if that was a Target item at one time.

but i did pick up Buzz! Mega Quiz (PS2) for $7.48 w/o the buzzers. you can find used buzzers at Gamestop for $4.99 (4.49 w/ the edge card!). $12 total! pretty sweet.

Look at the endcaps next to your video game, DVD, books or electronics aisle. You will find the clearanced items. Before they used to have them at my local store way near the books and DVD area but now it's more closer to the video game and electronics. But you will find it...

Yes, I remember seeing that clearanced at Target about a month ago. I don't know anything about when stuff gets sent to/appears at Goodwill, though.

or ask a target person, because sometimes it's in a random place (i.e. bottom shelf of some other electronics aisle a few rows down)
 
Goodwill ususally picks up the day after the clearance drop. When the associate scans the items, they pull them and hold the item for a next day pickup. It can vary by store, so ask the person who marks down the clearance items.

All the Targets and Wal-Marts by me are cleared of Micros. I was hoping for one even at $30.

I think you're right about harmarville at least -- stopped in today and they had MX vs ATV Untamed for ps3 for $29.98 and thrillville for orig xbox + a few ds games I hadn't seen on Monday. Oh and the Mass Effect was still there, it's right next to frontlines fuel of war :)

you'd probably be better off asking for it. sometimes it's where the electronics section ends, right before the next section starts (in my case, toys) or the walkway. and some targets leave things in their proper place. one target put the 360 Karaoke Revolution bundle with all the clearance stuff, another left them behind the glass case.

Yea, Cranberry & Gibsonia had nothing new yesterday either so if drops are coming, they haven't hit here yet.

I need to check the McKnight Road Targets. Do you ever hit those?
 
got Silver GB Micro for $12.74. It has "Sold AS-IS" label. Someone hid it at computer section.
I also bought some groceries to use $5 off coupon.
 
Picked up an HD-DVD drive for the 360 for $24.xx after tax. Not bad for a spare player and my Kmarts are all out. There is one left in Princeton, NJ on Nassau Park Blvd. if anyone is interested.

Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings - ds - 9.98 (no clearance sticker but in stack of clearance and I scanned it) - only saw the one that i scanned but i didn't buy it so it should still be there. Didn't hunt through the pile to see if there were more

Front Lines - pc - 20.98 - about 7 of them

Lots of other stuff but didnt' go through it all cause its a big jumbly pile. Those are the high points. Lots of insanley old strategy guides and the Oswego, IL rt34 store is still finding more psone games to stick on their clearnance pile.
 
Millenia Mall Target in/near Orlando had like 8 copies of Heavenly Sword for $30. That's too much for me but you guys might be interested.
 
Holy crap.

Found the only copy of The DXC for 7.xx at my local target. Looks like it had 1 red sticker from 29.99 to 7.xx. I have been checking for weeks and this is the first time I have seen it in target. I can't believe it!!! :bouncy:

It's pretty much the ONLY game I wanted for the PSP.

Once in awhile - I try to avoid McKnight-mare as much as possible. Mostly just harmar/gibsonia/cranberry and occasionally monroeville

how about lets not use forged coupons? target had a great thing going for the time it lasted (minus my store had a horrible "selection" of clearance 360 games the cashier was quite rude) but it's still a company and they're running a business. it's not fair to take advantage of what they gave you and use it against them through deception...
