This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

I bought a bottle of Renu contact solution, a tube of Orajel infant toothpaste, a .79 plastic pencil box, and a humidifier filter. It looks like they rang up the Coke last according to my receipt.

The Madden 93 on the Collector's Edition has today's rosters, but everything about the way the game looks and plays is Madden 93.

It also comes with NFL Head Coach 09 (which seperately sells for $50) and some NFL Films videos, mainly focusing on Favre, but also some others that are like 5-10 minute teasers of NFL Films DVD's available for purchase sepearately.

Last week I saw a sealed HD-DVD/DVD combo of Breach for $8 but I already had the movie. First HD-DVD/Blu-Ray I saw on clearance. Normally they just disappear and never appear on any clearance rack in the store.
 
Well, Im taking a look at my local Target Ad right now, and the offer is on the last page, for NCAA 09 + any 4 12 packs / 6 or 8 pack bottles. How does it look like on your reciept? Does it mention any offer or does it just say $10 gc?
 
There was a 360 live camera bundle at my target that was as-is and dropped from $30 to about $6. It didn't have points or a live subscription included, which may have been why it the price was dropped.

Hmm I guess I was wrong on the real promo. I guess it was the fact that I bought 4-12 packs of Coke that triggered the GC. It says *SPECIAL PROMOTION* on my receipt. I will see if I can scan it and post it here for you...

Jersey City/Newport Target had very little to offer on clearance yesterday for 360: 2 copies of Condemned 2 at $27.xx; 1 copy of Kingdom Under Fire for $27.xx and a bunch of copies of Kane & Lynch for $34.xx

Yeah either the cashier has to be clueless or was not informed of the deal. I bought the 4 cokes and saw the 10 dollar gc pop up on the screen but the cashier pushed some numbers to erase it.. :bomb:

oh well....I got a good deal with GS coupon and madden, so I guess the gaming gods wouldn't let me get away with it.

Nope, thought about it but I wouldn't use the camera, I already have uno, and I didn't even care about robotron when I got a free code for it.

Actually the same thing happened for me yesterday; after four Coke packs rang through, a pop-up came up prompting the cashier to slide a gift card. The system made no mention of NCAA 09 being part of the requirement.

Wow, another CAG in my corner of the state. That Target almost never has any good clearance stuff. I try to hit up the other ones in the immediate area, where I have had far better luck. The one in Linden usually has a nice end stand of full clearance junk, where I have picked up a few games and some accessories in the past.
 
I can confirm the the Target in Lansing, MI had Kane & Lynch, and Dark Sector for the PS3 and Bully for 360, each for 19.98 if I recall. (took Kane & Lynch and Bully since I already had Dark Sector)
Also had Nights (Wii) 14.95

The other games I dont recall.

No, but I heard it'll only be $40 like Lost Planet was (since Lost Planet did get a couple upgrades before it's PS3 migration).

Either way, there's plenty of people who felt this was worth $60, so $20 is a great price for a 'must-have' title.

I hear this is a great game, I picked it up when BBuy had it for 9.99 for one day but havent tried it yet,....Also non gaming related but well,...we all need clothes LOL,...I have been finding great deals on nice cargo shorts, picked up a few pair of Mossimo cargos for 10.48 a pair. Cause while we can play video games in our undies, we gotta get dressed when we leave the house :)
 
I stopped by Target in Riverside, CA. They had Pirates of the Carribean: At Worlds End on clearance. 9.9x for the PS2 version and 14.9x for the Wii version.

Ann Arbor, MI Target on Ann Arbor-Saline Road - I picked up a copy of Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass for $17.48 today. There is an endcap with clearance games two or three aisles away from the rest of the videogames.

I just picked up Bioshock(360) at my Target in Benton, AR for $28. And I thought I was getting a good deal . . . . oh wait, I'm still happy! I noticed Bully was $20. I guess every region is different.

I can't believe these low prices! My target has Viking for $28 and The Club for $34. You have some stones for waiting for one more price point!

I think my purchase of Bioshock is justified if you want to play it again! I heard it's really just a one time experience but I'm read where some people have several playthroughs with it. Sweet!
