This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

BTW, does anyone know the lowest price for a PS3 title so far before that dreaded $0.00 hits and it goes back to the factory or whereever? (i know most, if not every, ps3 title will be long gone before then but just for curiousity's sake)

I've been to three separate Target stores in the St. Louis area and have seen Ninja Gaiden & Pure on clearance for $29.
 
My local Target has not done clearances in a while so I was surprised to see some today:
(This was sticker price)

Facebreaker (Wii)- $24
Fifa 08 (Wii)- 20
F.F Tactics- 10
Uncharted- 40
G.H Aerosmith (PS3)- 35
Nascar 09 (PS3)- 35
Ninja Gaiden (360)- 29

Had some other ones, but nothing good. I'm only interested in Uncharted, so I'm hoping it hits another price drop (scanned it and rang up 40 still).
 
Soccer moms have been picking my section clean. I keep wanting to grab some Wii shovelware and whip it down an aisle towards them like bait while I look for price drops.

In other news, absolutely nothing dropped this past monday at my target out in Vernon Hills. *sigh* I keep hoping I'm going to score Bad Company, Ninja Gaiden II and/or Civ IV for the 20-25 but they will be picked over by the vultures by then.

For $19.98..It was buried in a area in the camera section.

Pretty good deal since its $39.99 almost everywhere. Also Golden Axe PS3 Dropped to $24.98

Some Targets have marked them down to $14.98 but most are still at $29.98. Target Clearance is YMMV so there is no definitive price.

Still waiting on Bad Company for the 360 to drop, it's still at $35. Want a NG 2 *bad* but all of the copies poofed at the $35 mark everywhere I've went. :(

Also saw BF:BC and NG2 at the same price points. Too bad I picked up Bad Company at $25...
 
120 Gig HDD was still 89.XX but I bit. Figure none will be left by the time next Monday rolls around. Guy in electronics confirmed that they already did price drops for the day. Luckily my brother-in-law will buy my 20gig for $20 to offset a little.
 
Snagged the last Gears of War Refresh and the last Ninja Gaiden II for $9.98 and $14.98, respectively. NBA 09 is still at 41.98 though, damnit.

Valparaiso, IN with no new drops. However, Sega Superstars Tennis for the :wii: was there for $20.98. I thought that was $20 everywhere else...

Not a lot of price drops since I checked Saturday, unfortunately. The 50ish copies of Ratchet and Clank dropped to $29.98-- if this was a normal week I'd think I was in good shape for $14.98 next week given the number of copies, but given Black Friday is coming up, I don't know if they'll last (but don't think I want the game badly enough to pay $30 for it). Did snag the last copy of Pure (PS3) for $14.98. They had a stack of about 10 Pure for 360 for $29.98 still. Ninja Gaiden II was still $29.98, Beijing 2008 (360) was still $24.98.
 
Nothing new at my store today. Bought a copy of Lego Indiana Jones at $25.00, but I think I'll return that and wait for the $15.00 drop. With that game being included in the Holiday bundle, I can see its price hitting bottom rather quickly.

Score! 75% off at the Target in Wood Dale IL. I thought today was going to be a complete waste (long story - took last sick day at work for an interview) when I came across everything I was looking for.

Ninja Gaiden II, Civ IV, Pure for 360 - 14,98 each
Lego Indiana Jones, Battlefield: BC - 12.98 each
MLB 2k8 - 9.98

There are a few more copies of Pure and MLB left but I got the last ones of the rest. I barely beat a few soccer moms still dressed in their flannel sleep pants. Yikes.

Anyway, I got Pure for trading or sell. I'm on the fence on MLB 2k8 and Lego Indy after reading the reviews. So those are up for grabs too.
 
Anyone find a Ninja Gaiden 2 for 14.98??? I thought it was still at 41.98......Maybe a typo?

FINALLY got the 120GB hard drive for $90. There had only been one for the past 2 weeks and I was about to give up and behold, it finally dropped from $125 this morning. I just got home and checked the stock of the 120GB hard drive on Target's website and it's listed out of stock, so that was a pretty quick update (less than 30 minutes). Looks like I also got the last one within a 20 mile radius of me.

Nothing else to speak of, CivRev for the 360 was still $29 and Uncharted at $41.98.

Went to Target to scan the clearance section and found a bunch Civ Rev and DMC4 for $41.98. But I found a hidden copy of NG2 behind a bunch of DMC4s for 29.98. Someone probably put it there hoping that no one would find it...

I picked up NG2 seeing that it was hidden from view and that it was most likely the final copy left, so I'm pretty happy with the purchase. I can see my self going back on Friday to try to grab Boom Blox for 20 and Dead Space for 30. What worries me is that the Target has approx. 5 copies of BB and 4 copies of DS...

It seems like they are gonna drop the prices on other clearance games right before Black Friday in order to clear up some space, as employees were putting the clearance games together as to entice those maniacal Black Friday shoppers. I would not be surprised if Targets across the nation begin to drop the clearance prices very low this week. So fellow Black Friday shoppers, when going to Target pay close attention to the Clearance section as you may be pleasantly surprised... :)
 
Picked up No More Heroes for $7.xx, they had several copies of PURE for $15, but I passed on it.

I didn't see anything else at the magical 75% off, everything here seems to be hovering at 50%. They had also organized the clearance sections in preperation for Black Friday. I'm assuming that they realize there isn't much reason to drop prices again since the pirhanas will be there on Friday.

Honestly, that store takes forever to drop things, and Blockbuster has been selling that game for $29.99 for over a month.
I hope things drop faster after Black Friday.

Renton, WA Target had the following XBOX 360 games:

Pure $29.98
GoW $19.98
Civ Rev $29.98
Battlefield: BC $24.98
Frontlines $29.98

The prices scanned out lower than what was stickered. The Kent and South Center Targets were scanning up higher prices.

My local T has been dragging their feet when it comes to lowering the clearance prices. They FINALLY dropped a few games after holding solid for like 3 weeks. Ninja Gaiden and Pure were now down to 29.99, with only 1 copy of each left. R6 Vegas 2 was 19.99, with only 1 copy left. I grabbed R6V 2, since I figured there would be probably another 2-3 weeks before it dropped to 9.99 and it would probably be gone even before that.
