This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

I think I stopped by that one too, but the one I'm talking about is further south. And not on University - you drive south on University until you hit Pines Blvd. Then you make a right and drive about 2 miles west. It'll be sandwiched between Jo-Ann Fabrics and a massive shopping mall.
 
Went to another Target this morning and found nothing of interest. Tomb Raider and Last Remnant were $29.98, UTIII for the 360 was $9.98 (have it for the PS3), and some random Wii game that I didn't even care to look at. Hopefully Tomb Raider drops next week...ugh...

The one by Bealls and BabysRUs on 441 had 3 360 Rock Band bundles 2 weeks ago for 9x.xx.Probably a good candidate for a 34.xx copy. Not much else besides Fracture and Bolt for 360.
I was visiting my parents so I don't know exactly where these stoes were , I made my dad drive me most of the time.
I went to 3 Targets in that area, one was a Super Target.

That was a loooong time ago. Last reported price on those were $1.97. I doubt anyone will find one if they go to sears now.
 
Unless you happen to find a Sears that still has it for full price ($59.99) like I did a few weeks ago. I hadn't been to that store in months and thought it was great to find it for $1.97 only to see it scan for $59.99.
 
So it occurred to me last night some of these drops can be used to save 10$ off of Resident Evil. For instance SC IV and Tomb Raider are on the GS promotion trade 2 get Resident Evil for 20$, so in this limited flippin environment it's something for nothing.
 
Wow, someone organized everything beautifully at the local store. Unfortunately, these are the same prices from 3 weeks ago. Yikes!!!

For some reason I ot my hopes up about finding the RB1 bundle after reading about so many people finding it here. I know of a guy who is looking for it, so I'd be able to sell it to him for ~$100, but of course it was nowhere to be found.

And like so many other people reported, Fracture & Too Human (360) are both still $19.98. The only bright spot was seeing a UTIII (360) that I hadn't ever seen before and it was marked about $20 I think. I'll pick that up if it drops anymore.

UTIII is a pretty good game at that price, It's better on the PS3 because of the mods but its a decent shooter all around if you like UT. I don't know about Bourne because I've only played the demo and didn't really like it. It's a toss up for me.

Picked up mercs 2 for ps3 for 9.98 today.They marked down a lot of stuff today.Last week i went and there was maybe 2 -3 games in the clearance section and today there was a good 30+.Mostly all 360.I checked prices using the 207 codes from the original post and some games dont even show up in the system.The ones i want of course have been long gone but show up in the system for either $9.98 or $14.98.I will be keeping my eye on sopuld caliber though its currently $34.97 at my store.

There's another Target on Pines besides the one near University? I was looking for $15 TR:U but couldn't find it.

Stopped by the Super Target on Miramar Pkwy and they didn't have anything new from last week. About eight copies of Far Cry 2 for $14, SC4 for $35, Blitz 2: The League for $28-$29, and a few DS games. Resistance was standing behind a price stage that said $15 but it was actually $29.99. Bastards.
 
finally picked up the only game i've been looking for in this clearance, 9.98 fracture for ps3. also picked up a ps3 disney sing it for 9.98 as well. disney is going to gamestop as my 6th game in their tiered promo.
 
What's up with Tomb Raider Underworld?
I price checked it the 360 version at my Target & it rang up as $29.99.
Aren't the clearance sales across the board for Target stores?

Soul Caliber IV dropped to $14.98 at the Mt Juliet, TN Target. First time I've seen it below $29 at any of the Targets in this area.

Passed on Lionel Trains: On Track DS at $2.48. For some reason, it took me a couple of minutes to pass on this game, eventhough, I already picked it up at TRU for $4.98.

Also, something strange happened. On Sunday, I went to the Target nearest to me and saw that they had 4 PS3 Singstar Vol. 1 bundles priced at $29.98. They also had several copies of TLR, SCIV, TR:UW and Bourne Conspiracy. When I went back on Monday evening, everything except Bourne was gone. When I checked the price using the DPCI at the scanner, all the games that were gone were still at $29.98. WTF?

If all that stuff was picked up by lurkers/hoarders/soccer moms, all I can say is... have some fucking patience. They all would've eventually dropped to 75% off (especially with the amount of stuff that they had). #-o
 
There's a MASSIVE hoarder at the Milford, MA Target. The associate was cool and helping me with his scanner, typing in the DCPI numbers to find out what they were supposed to have in stock and from what I had him check there are; 11 of Lego Batman, 2 of Too Human, 5 of Last Remnant, 7 of Tomb Raider: Underworld, 1 of Farcry 2 (PS3) all stashed and/or stolen. There was literally some DS games, Fracture, and a baseball game on the endcap. Everything else was stashed.

I did get a nice fuck you to whoever is stashing games; found Fable II: LE behind the Meguiar Car Care Products. It was stashed with a $48.98 ticket on it, but when I bought it it rang up $17.48. So hell yea, for that kinda score can live with having to drive to yet another Target to get the other six I'm looking for.
 
I went to the next closest Target since my hometown one hadn't marked anything down this week. What I found was interesting. Although they had DS and Wii games at a further marked down clearance (PoP was $15 vs $21/ Web of Shadows was $25 vs. $35), their Xbox 360 SCIV and TR:U were only at 30% clearance ($42 vs. $30).

Saw But Didn't Grab:

30+ Copies of Bourne, Fracture, and Tomb Raider for 360 - $29.98

Grabbed one copy of "The Ship" for $5. Saw a few others if anyone is interested.

Also saw one copy of Too Human for $10 but passed, as well as a few copies of Guitar Hero III (Game Only) for the ps3 @ $12.48

from what I see it's VERY YMMV for clearance at target down here...last I checked (which was last week I think) I found Last Remnant at Target for 29.98 while it was being posted for 14.98. it's the same for Radio Shack, Walmart, etc...I checked three RS and none of them had GTA4 let alone anything significant for games...I think the last one I checked in Redlands had the Kung Fu Panda/ Lego Indiana Jones game and that was it...

the TRU in Redlands was the only place I found ANY deals posted
