This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

picked up :dark sector (360) for $10, the rock band usb hub for $5 and X-blades (360) for $15.

I was hoping to use the x-blades $5 rebate on the site, but target reciepts don't have the game upc or the title on them. I wonder if the company would except it.

Wouldn't hurt to try, I guess.

I find it hilarious that they're paying people to both advertise, and buy their game...Yet it's already on clearance shelves for $15...Ridiculous.

Oh yeah, I saw a bunch of Endless Ocean :wii: yesterday for $20.98 I think. Might give it a shot are a ~$10 range. IIRC it has Club Nintendo points, could be wrong though.
Saw 3x of the Blu-Ray gift sets for PS3 for $12.48 today. Might go back later this week and grab one. With last week buying a PS2 memory card adapter for PS3, might start picking up games/accessories/Blu-Rays for whenever I get a PS3 in the possible-near-future.

Also my Targets completely took out all the GBA games and clearanced them and probably 75% of their PS2 games.

Grabbed UT3 for PC for $4.98 today too since I might be teaching with some people this summer who mod levels for it. :)
Anybody grab the blu-ray gift sets? I got the 3:10 yuma one. Nice price for a great package. Just wondering, does it show up in the list of remotes in your harmony remote databases? I only found one Intec PS3 remote and it doesn't include the arrow keys =P I guess if worse comes to worse I'll reprogram and manually do it.

Target in West Allis Wisconsin has a couple copies of Mirror's Edge at 27.98, X Blades at 29.98, Tiger Woods Golf '09 for 41.98 and Incredible Hulk for 20.98, all games for the Xbox 360 only. Bummer, I was so hoping to snag a copy of Far Cry 2 for the Xbox 360 for at least 20 but I might end up keeping the copy I purchased at Blockbuster for the PS3 for 20. Blast!

It is funny, but Target seems pretty cutthroat with clearances. Not saying X-Blades is a good game (I've never played it), but it's not uncommon to see a good game end up on the clearance rack at Target pretty quickly (Grid and Pure come to mind). Only several months later do those games end up marked down universally.
Yesterday I went looking for Afro Samurai for the PS3 thinking I would be happy to pay $29.98. However, the two stores I checked out still had the game for $41.98.
If it makes you feel any better, my store still wants $59.99 for it.

Random game popped up, saw a FaceBreaker KO PArty (wii) in the case clx'd at 14.98 or something.
Was going to pick it up but don't know what the trade in value for it is

^^ Saw that too, crap load of wii games, and they moved the clearance games over near the magazines. Stashed me a Sonic unleashed and Mirrors edge

Sigh.

Non game related I found an Emerson Toaster Oven, originally $70 for $17.48. Wife wanted one a few weeks ago, when they were first clearanced. It rang up out of the system too, but had its price tag on it still surprisingly. Target's remaining video game rocker has started its clearance cycle too. Saw it at 30% off today.

Was able to pick up an Intec PS3 Bluray bundle with Transporter 2 yesterday. Not the greatest movie but for the price, not bad.

Toaster oven for $17.48? I will have to look around for that. Thanks for the info!

Not that I condone CONTINUAL stashing, but trust me, Yuk isn't the only one, nor will he ever be the select few that admit it in these forums. Personally, I don't find it fair that he gets called out about it when a page or so back there were at least two that admitted to the same and didn't get slack.

Do you have a AISN or DPCI number on that toaster Darkasian?

Most everything was cleaned out, the guy I spoke to said there was a lot of good stuff too, but I did get Intec PS3 Bluray bundle (HDMI cable, USB Remote and 3:10 to Yuma BD) for only $12.00, I'm happy, trip not wasted.

Anybody know if the Blu-ray/remote/HDMI cable bundles have the same SKU for different movies. I picked up Transporter 2 which was my last but only choice, and I'm wondering if I can exchange for a different movie bundle.

Transporter 2 bundle DCPI # - 207 00 0954
SKU # - 7 80332 00341 1

I want to crack this bundle open so I can use the remote dongle and finally get my Logitech Harmony remote to control my PS3!

Thanks, and its not like im stashing like 6 copies. I leave some for the others in my town, its not something I also have been doing for a while. I have done it a couple of times, but the waiting sucks and Im gonna quit on it.

I don't actually give a damned what some dude(s) on the internet condone or don't condone in the real world.

Internet Morality is THE shallowest kind.

First there's the idea that you're attempting to force your point of view on others, then there's the fact that you could be lying about what your point of view is in the first place, and... as a special added bonus... YOU MIGHT NOT EVEN BE REAL!

So for all the "It's dishonorable to shoot somebody in the back in Killzone" and "I don't condone stashing" and "You should only buy one 35lb container of kitty litter and leave the rest for those who didn't make it to Target on time"... people, I say that I respect your morality (if it truly is)... for YOU. And YOU *shouldn't* shoot people in the back in Killzone, stash copies of Harvey Birdman, or buy up 680 pounds of kitty litter and receive a hitherto UNKNOWN amount of $5 Target gift cards...

...but you also shouldn't be trotting around on a virtual, moral High Horse like a post-modern Custer/St. Ignatius duet.

072090270. You'll be looking for an Emerson Brand Convection Countertop Oven. Maybe more than a month ago they clearanced off the Euro-Pro(which should be $12.48 now) and the Emerson stainless steel models. Just look at the Emerson brand toaster in the isle. The new current model is metallic red and steel. The one you want($17.48) is black and steel. It'll most likely come up out of the system and be hard to find, but you never know. Happy hunting.
Rainbow six Vegas 2 (PC) is currently priced at $4.98

Just picked it up today for that price.
Just picked it up yesterday for the price! WOOHOO! Now to return the one that I bought for $9.98. :D

The irony in your post is too rich to not applaud. :applause:
Did you really use the term 'post-modern'?
Me thinks the lad hath been waiting many moons to use the phrase, "post-modern Custer/St. Ignatius duet".:lol::lol:
:psp:NCAA 09 finally dropped to $7.48 (75%).
Oh yeah? Sounds like a slickdeal.:shame::lol:

had quite a good day. i picked up a 12 month xbox live vision bundle for $30. also picked up a 25 pack of dual layer dvd+r's for $10.....and a car cd player for $15. i have no use for the cd player but i couldnt pass that up. i might go back for the casio keyboard marked down to $35 too
the Bronx one at 225 or the one on Atlantic av in Brooklyn? what games and how much?
Anybody from NY im looking for ps3 games

i've been eyeing this copy of mirror's edge for the past 3 months and yesterday i finally went into target with my buddy and he pointed out that the copy of mirror's edge on the 360 was finally 19.99. which is awesome cause i've been waiting for it to drop and it did.
Has anybody found Guild Wars: Eye Of The North (I think its a bundle with the original game) for cheaper than $20?
My local Target in PA had this bundle for $14.xx a couple of months ago. It's long gone now.
My local Target in PA had this bundle for $14.xx a couple of months ago. It's long gone now.
yeah it hit the 9.98 price point here but the 2 copies my Target had disappeared after that.

Nightfall is still hanging around though. It had a 24.48 price point for about a month, now it's at 17.28 (wtf?)

Yeah, I picked up the last Nightfall for $17 today figuring it wouldn't drop anymore before someone bought it, but they have 3 more of those EoTN bundles @ 19.98 (they were 20-something last week iirc). I hope they drop again next week, otherwise I'll just grab it at that price and give the Prophecies key to a friend.

When did this go on clearance?

The Blu-Ray Bundles finally dropped to $12.48 at the store I always frequent. Unfortunately they only had 2/4, so I picked up League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Still waiting on Naruto Ultimate Ninja to fall. Sonic Unleashed has been $34.xx for weeks now. I might pick it up at $10 or below; it wasn't terrible

Saw most of the PS2 GH games clearance down to 9.98 at the Kennewick, WA store

Such titles as RE4, MK Armageddon, Ratchet Deadlocked, Simpsons game, and Bully caught my eye

It would be obscene to post all of the amazing clearance stuff I found non-games wise, so as far as games go there hasn't been jack, and the stuff their pricing down now kind of blows for the most part. Fine by me for once, my wallet is hurting as it is!

Exton, PA on US-100

Picked up the Blu-Ray Bundle w/ Transporter 2 for $12.48. They had one copy left w/ Terminator 2. I also got the PS2 Card reader for the PS3 $3.48.

Afro-Samurai, X-Blades and Naruto were still 29.xx. Farcry2 and Dark Mirror are still 19.xx.

Family Guy PS2 is $7.48, but I'm waiting for a 90% drop on that.

83 - your avatar looks like jerry seinfeld. just throwin that out there.

also would like to say that my local target had tons of Mirrors Edge (both systems)at full price one week, then the next week they had ONE copy for 360 for 19.98 in the clearance section. grr.

Wow. That's what I was expecting, but it didn't happen. It's been around 2 weeks and it doesn't look like they've sold any at that price. I'm starting to get my hopes up.
