This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Target by me in Kissimmee, FL finally lowered its Riddick price down to $14.98. Had been sitting at $41.xx for the last two months or so (or at least that's what the price said, never had a chance to get someone to scan it/print out the UPC). Funny thing was, had checked there a week ago Thursday and it was still the higher price and just decided to check again today on a whim since I was in the area lol. Was still one copy left there after I bought mine.

I found Chronicles of Riddick - Assault on Dark Athena (For PC) for 9.98 (75%) today at the Tri-County Target in Cincinnati. The box says it also "Includes the remastered 'Escape from butcher bay' campain" on the same disc. I've seen a lot of talk for this game for PS3...anyone know what the PC version is like?

Also, if you have a daughter/sister/niece with a birthday coming up, they had the High School Musical Troy/Gabriella singing doll set marked 75% off at $7.50.

I'm sure the PC version has better graphics and control, but I remember a lot of people complaining about the copy protection/DRM they used. I'd google it to double check - if I remember correctly I think there was a limit on the number of times you could install the game.

I got it at Target a few weeks ago for $20. I haven't played it on PS3, but if you have a good graphics card it'll look better on PC, and even if you don't you still get to use a mouse and keyboard (it's a first person stealth/shooter, after all). Definitely get this on PC over a console.

I haven't had any DRM troubles, but then again I only have one gaming PC.

Finally got an Endwar bundle for $22.48 at the Jackson, MI Target yesterday. They had one left after the one I grabbed.

Also had FEAR 2 for , for $34.98, 3 copies.
Motorstorm Pacific Rift for , for $29.98, 3 copies.

Almost missed out on the Endwar bundle since they moved the clearance endcap waaaaaaay down to right next to the pharmacy, which was like, 5 or six endcaps away from where it used to be.

PR is soooo worth it for $30 in my opinion. I bought it at Blockbuster new when they started selling off their games and got it then for $30. The single player is awesome, the game can become really challenging. The only downside to me was that even though it has 4 player splitscreen, it's hard as hell to see where you're going at first, but once you learn the tracks it isn't really a problem anymore.

Typically Monday. I always go to my Targets on Monday and there's always a couple of drops.

Last time I checked.. the dozen or so EndWar bundles I saw in one store was wiped clean in like a day and a half. Aside from that, Tustin Target has a shit load of clearance games, just poke around.

Is it possible for a Target to have absolutely no clearance games?

My Target is situated with a pharmacy, then electronics like Ipods, then the main camera/cell phone section, then video games, then other stuff like batteries and cordless phones and stuff.

There is an end cap for $19.99 Wii and DS games, and another for like $30 X-Box 360 games and PS3 games, but no clearance end cap. There is a clearance shelf between the pharmacy and the wall of TVs where I once found Elite Beat Agents, and occassionally they have some other stuff shovelware there, but there has been absolutely NOTHING there for the past couple of months. And certainly there has NEVER been any of these good deals that appear in this thread frequently.

Is it possible that this Target is just balls?

An amazing price for the Sony BlueTooth Headset.
I can sell the sealed game on ebay to offset the price.
Interested in Riddick PC but my Targets are still holding firm on the $27-29 price point.

Off topic, but I have spotted a few Targets with Halo Mega-Blocks one is a tank and the other I believe was a warthog. None of them are on clearance, but they sell for $30 each.

Was this a target or super target?? I've noticed that the super targets I've been to have no endcap for clearance. Well I take that back they do have a 2 shelves at the end of each glass case near the main aisles. One is a shelf with games 29.99 or less and the other for 19.99 and less. Usually the clearance games are tucked into mix with them. Those set ups usually have zip to none clearance games and what you can find is crap. When they have the dedicated clearance end cap as opposed to the "cheap" games there is usually lots, well in my cases anyways.

Saw this too and it freaked me out cause it lit up right as I walked by! Then I saw Ni Hao Kai Lan megablocks! Lego better watch themselves! But Halo Megablocks makes you wonder why nintendo never thought about this.

Picked up an Endwar bundle for $23 at Target in State College, PA. There was one left after I got mine. It may still be there but since it's a college town you must be quick to get these deals.

Picked up the Kai Lan toys for my little girl last month and just picked up the Yo Gabba Gabba megablocks sets. Also found Dora, Diego and Cars sets at 75% off. It is a good thing that the megablocks are compatible with her Duplos since it gives her more characters to play with.

I swear I have one of the worst Target's for clearance ever.

It's been almost two months, and Riddick, Ninja Blade, NHL 09, and some others have held at 30% off. All still $27.98 - $41.98. I can't believe people are finding Riddick PC for 75% off already, that went on clearance far after, and this Target still has Riddick 360 at $41,98 which is MORE THAN RETAIL PRICE AT THIS POINT.

Yeah, megablocks looks like they're making a run at Lego with their new collections - maybe trying to build off Lego Star Wars? Anyway, there's a promotion on their site where you can get a HALO Megablocks minifigure for "free", it actually costs 3.99 for shipping. The single last copy of Riddick that had been sitting on the shelf at $30 for close to 2 months without a further price reduction finally got reduced to $14.98 today, so I got it. I'm surprised it wasn't bought earlier or marked down sooner, but whatever.

I also bought Ninja Blade for $9.98 because it was $10 and has ninjas in it.
