This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

yes! i found a non-GOTY left 4 dead (in the glass case) at a nearby target for $12.48. it rang out of the system, but the patient salesclerk decided to give it to me at the clearance price. there was one left when i left, but the lady put it into a drawer? i'm not sure what she was going to do with it.

i didn't see any other clearance games at this particular target though.

The self checker rang up at $14.98 for Riddick but when I went to the cashier it rang up as 9.98. I got two games and receipt says NCF Xbox 360 2@ 9.98. I thought it was weird that the self checker was off from the register, I wonder if I've missed other deals, and this is the first time I've ever seen it.

sorry man! i went there for patio furniture and walked right on by the clearance section cause the drops in this target are so freakin inconsistent. finally decided to go check for the hell of it and there they were. what luck...

10 maybe more Endwar bundles for $22.xx (first time I have EVER seen the game there for PS3)

Guess the Ninja Blade drop is pretty universal. I picked up the last two copies for $9.98 each, but will return at least one unless someone wants to trade.

Also, went to the Goodwill by one of the Targets, and found :ps3:Afro Samurai and 2 copies of :360:Prince of Persia sealed, one still had the target clearance tag on it, for $8 each. I already have PoP on both 360 and PS3 so I'm more than willing to trade at cost for them.
 
Picked up Motorstorm Greatest Hits version (PS3) for 14.98 + Secret Agent Clank (PS2) for 13.98 today minus 10 bucks with a giftcard I had from buying some HP ink a couple of weeks ago.
 
I picked up Ninja Blade (360) for 9.xx , like everyone else on here, it was the last copy at the Cumming, Ga Target. I also picked up the first Motorstorm for 14.xx. Everything else was too high for me at this moment. Now I will wait until next Monday to see what the next drop brings.
 
I picked up Ninja Blade for $10 and Riddick for $15 today FINALLY! Riddick is all gone but there is one copy of Ninja Blade left and one copy of the Endwar PS3 bundle for $22.

THis is at the ROckwall Texas store.
 
sigh... ones around here have all the titles listed here for 360, hawx for 15 too... but nothing good for ps3... couple fear 2 and riddick for way too much $... will have to see if they drop... didnt since last week though

Looks like cashier rang up Ninja Blade 2x. Otherwise, your receipt would have 2 separate numbers, not [email protected].

Last year I think Target used their overnight teams to do the markdowns. Now apparently they do them sometime during the business day.

Grabbed Ncaa football 09 for 7.xx PS3 and Riddick for 14.xx xbox 360. Prices at my store are very slow to drop lately
 
Went to the Merrillville, IN one before work. FINALLY. Riddick dropped to $14.98 and snagged what appeared to be the last copy.

Also saw Wheelman dropping, but I can safely say even if it went 99% off I still wouldn't buy it.
 
Jus got back from my local target in San Bernardino, CA and well... that Ninja Blade I had my eye on yesterday I assume was marked down today cause it was gone. I too noticed Riddick was marked down to $15 they had 2 copies left. They did have a copy of Madworld that wasn't there yesterday but It was marked as $20 ( I shoulda scanned it now that I think bout it), I only had $15 on me so I felt like I didn't have any choice but to let it go.
So this visit, I only walked out with a Nerf N-strike shooter for my Wii shooter games (I needed a wii gun for my wiimote), It's just the gun itself and 3 darts and was on clearance in the toy section for $3.74. Thought about getting 2 but Seems since I got the Wii I only played House of the Dead Overkill 1 time with someone so it'd be pointless to buy another to just sit there.

I'm glad I didn't bite on that Steam sale a few weeks back for Velvet Assassin. I'm sure for $12.48 it'll be worth some entertainment. :D

but damn the clearence game section is STACKED! tons of new shyt, 2 shelves stacked, upwards to 50-75 games majority 360, but a good amount of PS3 also
 
went to the St. Pete FL Target on Park St and saw Riddick for 15.XX, MadWorld for 20.XX, Dead Space for 20.XX (got one copy for myself), Motorstorm for 7.XX and LOTR game for PS3 for 20 bucks

Really? I didn't see that when I went, at about 2:00 or so. Saw plenty of MadWorld, some Fear 2 PS3 (but for $41.98), 1 Motorstorm: PR. Was actually looking for NCAA Football 09 for $7.48, but none left.

I just came back from my Target in North Little Rock, AR. It didn't look like they'd added anything to the clearance section (though I did notice that Dead Space was in an EAS case among the non-clearance floor games, which seemed out of place).

The only price drops I noticed were Ninja Blade (9.98) and a PS3 Guitar Hero World Tour (game only - 7.54). I jumped on both. I'm going to keep an eye out for Henry Hatsworth and Patapon 2. I've been wanting both for a while.

The Lewisville, TX store was mentioned but they also had 4-5 copies of Madworld for $20.

If anyone has seen a Spyro: Eternal Night for GBA, I'm looking. Just putting it out there.

Got Chronicles of riddick at the brandon super target for 14.98 (xbox 360 Last copy) PS3 is still at 29.99 I think didnt check

I went to return 50 cent xbox 360 and Star wars unleashed PS2. Tried to pick up the second Riddick and Ninja blade in case CAGers wanted it but when I went during my lunch break it was gone. Did see one lone copy of Mad World for 20.98.
