This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There's a lone copy of GoW: CoO at the 30% off mark at my local Target. Will jump at 50% since I doubt it'll got any further than that.

Anyone know if there will be a release of a ultimate edition of Fable 2 like with Fallout, that has all the DLC included? Wasn't it announced or am I just thinking of something else?
Trying to decide if it's worth to get the regular version of Fable 2?

It was originally scheduled to come out yesterday, per the gamestop website. When I checked it yesterday it was pushed back to January 5th, 2010. It is a platinum hits version that will include all the DLC to date.

I bought Fable 2 for about $20 a few days ago. I might as well wait a few months and pay an extra $10 for the DLC. Thanks! : )

For some reason, they tend to do that in my area too. I've seen some games mentioned as having already been clearanced at nearly everyone's Target(or at least most who post here anyway). Yet at my closest store they JUST clearanced out XBlades for the PS3 less than 3 weeks ago, when it's been out of the system at many other CAG's stores for a while now.

That's why the term YMMV(which is short for Your Mileage May Vary) is used frequently on here, as it denotes that your experience may be different.

Both Sears and apparently now Kmart have this router on clearance as well, with it being $12 or so at Kmart. I may have to check my local stores today for it, since I've been looking for another Linksys for a while. Once you do some port forwarding on these they're phenomenal for the PS3.

So Fable 2 has 2 DLC out right? The island one & the see the future one. That is like $15 in DLC.
I guess waiting a few months will be worth it rather than buying it now.
 
I've also seen that Linksys Router on clearance, but it's never gotten low enough for me to pick it up.

I did manage to grab a copy of the Bigs 2 for 360 at $19.98 at the West Hartford Target. I think there were 2 other copies left. The endcap is pretty barren, but I do remember X-Men Origins: Wolverine at 41.98 in the 360 case and Science Papa at 7.48 on the Wii side. Don't remember anything else, but there were a few other games.
 
El Hoardo was amazing. I laughed so hard, mostly because the last time I was at Target, there he was (no cape, mask or sword), but same guy otherwise, grabbing stacks of clearance games (including 4 copies of Tiger Woods for Wii at 41 a pop, so not even that bright).

Target used to be my go-to place for clearance deals. The pickings have been slim in Indianapolis lately. Nothing makes it much past the 25% off point before being purchased. I miss the days of stacks of 75% off games.
 
The local targets here don't have Fable II on the clearance cycle yet. But they are at least 2-3 weeks behind the rest of target in general.

El Hoardo is pure awesome. I love the glasses.

i was keeping my eye out for risen pc, but i looked everywhere and i didn't see one copy, even in the pc games section. does target stock this game? ??
 
I swung back by my Traget tonight and they had 2 Wii MotionPlus' for 14.XX. Wish I had the extra money. Anyone else see these? (They were on the clearance endcap, but on a locking rack. One box was really effed up and taped back together, the other was a little worse for wear as well.)
