I'm glad I'm not the only one disappointed about Incredipede losing by so much... hopefully it goes to 80% off at some other point during the sale.

15 pages back, just now beginning to catch up on the thread.

In all the CARDZ excitement over the last few days it might be easy to forget that Gearbox has been giving away SHiFT codes for class-specific loot all weekend. http://orcz.com/Borderlands_2:_Golden_Key

Salvador is up tomorrow.

Out of curiosity, how far in level-wise did it take for your Gunzerker to feel "powerful". I'm used to scoping, so initially the dual wield thing felt awkward for me, coupled with sub-par starting gear made for a less than enthusiastic start. I'll probably love him through T/UVHM, but these normal playthroughs are becoming a slog. Fun, but a slog nonetheless.
By the time you reach 30-31 you can be all the way to the end of the Brawn branch and you should be feeling pretty badass. I continued on from there into Rampage which extends the duration and shortens the cooldown of Gunzerking.

When you dual wield there are still crosshairs in the middle of the screen.

WIth that said. Is there ANY other controllers out there that are compatible with Steam without the use of 3rd party software. I have plenty of PS3 controllers.
Without 3rd party software is the keyword...pretty sure alot of games should work with PS3 controllers, but just to be safe, you should really consider looking into x360ce. I assume much of what you don't want is configuring buttons for each game, but x360ce is basically to make your computer think your controller is an xbox 360 controller...

I prefered Origin. It may be in a tower, but you get 3 characters with completely different playstyles.. while you only get 1 with Oath in Felghana. Felghana was harder to get into for me, need to get back to it.
Scarred me for a second, damn, thought your immortal soul might be in danger of damntaion.

Old Tomb Raider Games at 91% off! ($0.62 cents each)

Specifically, 1-6, Anniversary, and Underworld. Most likely a stacked discount glitch, so hurry if interested!
Definitely not a glitch, 7 hours later and TR 1-6 are still that price...

All Sniper Elite v2 DLC is also 66% off (was 50%), including the Hitler Mission.
Mmmhmmm, I'd love me some Hitler Killin', but I have not yet the available space on my steam drive for Sniper Elite V2.

It's because the cable only transmits power and not data (button inputs, etc).
I swear I have to explain this to friends multiple times a year, every year!! But they always insist it must work because A. "It works on my xbox" and B. "Computer knows you plugged something in with it"..... fuck.....

Is there any reason to not pick up just cause 2? It's soo cheap but never really got into the demo on the xbox.
Said it last sale, and I'll bring it up again
JC2-MP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On that note, a beta is starting next weekend!!

Out of curiosity, how many people are actively trading cards and crafting badges? If anyone's interested, I could make a thread just for trading cards between CAGs. But not really sure how many are doing it.
Probably a good idea to help clear out this one...but that would only lead to hundreds of "Wrong Thread" or "Make these Posts in the Cards Threads!!" posts

I set the AC in the house to 73F and told my wife "That's why we have jobs"
I set mine at 69F ;)

bought all of tomb raider for no reason
Hmmmm....Do you plan to play any of them?

Price-wise, dropping approximately $18 on that entire TR franchise is a damn good deal (75% off)! Hell, I'm sure many bought only TR 2013 in the past for WAY more than what this awesome Franchise Deal b/c they have just that one TR 2013 game ASAP.

Also, you just supported Square Enix + Crystal Dynamics + whatever cut Valve takes from Steam sales.

More or less, your money - and others who buy any games from these guys - is keeping/trying to keep all of them in business - even though, after last year, Square Enix lost about $100M supposedly.

oh i didnt buy that fake tomb raider game just 1-guardians of light

ill be shocled if system shock doesnt win next vote

Everyone vote for System Shock 2.  Because it's on my wishlist and if I don't get it off my wishlist I'll...

...let me think of something...

...nope, nuthin'.

Just vote for it, OK?

I really hope system shock 2 wins. That alone means that there is no chance the steam community will vote for it. If magicka or hydrophobia was up for voting with 50% discount, the steam community would still vote for it.

System shock 2 is the only answer. Baldurs gate was just on a weekend deal, and legend of grimrock has already been a deal. If system shock doesn't win its offically rigged. Though I believe System shock is supposed to be getting cards so it might win if it is rigged. Hmm.

I'm pretty sure System Shock 2 will win, it's more popular than the other choices. I'm debating if I should rebuy it on Steam.. already have it on GOG lol.

I'll vote System Shock 2 for ya

RCT 3... who else thinks this is going to be pulled out from Steam? With the GOG's "Thank you, Atari!" weekend sale... I'm grabbing it. Besides that, looks like a great game. I always wanted a new Theme Park (Bullfrog) game, and the closest are the RCT games... so, this may be my "new theme park" :)

It's been over a month since it was possible to buy a game and get back more than you paid for it after selling the cards.
Drunken Robot Pornography would like a word with you.

I'm kind of pissed about this whole card thing - I'd love to sell them to fund my summer sale like so many others, but I hadn't purchased anything on Steam in over a year prior to the sale. So, of course, Valve won't let me sell anything.

Sorry, GabeN. I've been unemployed. I'll try not to do it again.
Ironically, you may come out ahead. Collect all the cards you can, wait a week+ after the Summer Sale is over, and the prices may go up. I'm too impatient for that and I want Steam wallet to buy games now, but still, it's a valid strategy to not sell your cards during the Summer Sale.

Hehe, even Mars: War Logs got cards...
It got cards two days ago.

{Goes back to catching up}

Even though I have a retail disc copy of SS2, SS2 gets my vote.

It's just at $2.50 - that's CHEAP AS HELL.

Everybody deserves to play THIS game.

I already own Grimrock from GOG;

and I already own the original BG1 from Retail, so I'm not super-duper interested in BG1: EE.

Calling it now, Legend of Grimlock wns beceause people always vote for it after almost everyone on the planet already bought it.

I was thinking the same thing, but a buddy of mine who loves the RCT games said that the third one was inferior to the first two. Anyone else have impressions on RCT 3? It's cheaper on Steam at $4.99 than on GOG, FWIW.

Voted for System Shock 2!

Edit: Code is gone. I didn't expect to get replies so fast, now I wish I had extras for everyone. =P

I voted for System Shock 2. I haven't picked a winner yet, unfortunately.
All of the games I've picked have won, except for Incredipede (but I knew that wouldn't win). Trust in my spoder sense ;)

Voting System Shock 2. It is getting cards... so there is a chance that Gabe will select it to win.
To be fair, all of the community choice winners have gotten cards, so whichever game wins the vote probably will get cards.. meaning there should be cards for XCOM and Dark Souls eventually, most likely whenever they're daily deals.

Does anyone still have the link to that's its that calculates how long it will take to finish your Steam backlog? I didn't pay any attention to it earlier because I didn't have a backlog then xD
