Official NHL 12 CAG Team - We're Back Baby!!! WifeBeaterz on Parole!

Alan and I ventured into Cry of Fear co-op last night and it was a blast. Gary and Brandon definitely need to join us. Alan was all like "run between these train cars". And then I got killed by a giant. Good times.

Hey, it did look like a pathway in the heat of the moment :p

But yeah, that was great, we need to get 4 player going for sure.

One thing I noticed today, this was the guide I was looking at last night to connect to your server, and I didn't even realize it talks about the errors that I was getting.

http://coopheroesgaming.com/2013/05/tutorial-cry-of-fear-server-setup/

On a side note, if your friends receive the Reliable Channel Overflow error, then they just need to reconnect to your server through the in-game command prompt. If they receive the Steam Validation error, you will need to restart your server, and they will need to restart their game to reconnect.
So, it at least seems like a common issue with the game. I looked at the link you sent me in Steam chat too. But that made it seem like it could be a number of different things. Considering the age of the game and the quirkiness of that mod, I'm not going to worry about it too much. At least it was an easy fix most of the time.

The two commands from that link are just console commands, so it wouldn't hurt to try. Just hate having to risk losing items between loading screens. They are legit commands, as they are commonly used in Counter-Strike, which is also a Half-Life mod originally.

I'm trying to remember, I don't think it actually made me lose stuff when I would just get disconnected...other than when we were supposed to (if we both died and got the Game Over, I think it intentionally starts you with nothing). Also, not sure which console commands you mean. Are you talking about the "heartbeat" thing? I'm open to trying whatever. Based on the link you sent me last night though, it could be happening to me for a million reasons. There are usually 5-6 devices connecting to the internet in my household at any time. My Touchpad, wife's Kindle Fire, wife's iPhone, PS3 for Netflix, etc. Not really an isolated environment to allow me to be certain of a cause. But yeah, if there's a better way of connecting, it's worth a shot. Hell, it was still more reliable than EA's servers, lol.

Haha. Nice! I'm telling you, man. Oculus is legit. I think once you're in the game, staring at a screen is going to seem silly by comparison. It's crazy to me that the games utilizing it range from graphical powerhouses to simple cartoony style. Somebody even made a "Vertigo Simulator" that looked pretty awesome. They set it up to have you walk across a beam, with a fan blowing at your back. When games get to the point that your brain is being tricked into thinking you're falling, that's pretty awesome, haha. :D

Wow...

How can someone live like that?

lol in one of his videos he refers to his house as "messy."

If you look at one of his most recent videos, he says that they "need to get the fuck out of Michigan", and I guess they actually moved to San Antonio, Texas. He says something about his new home will be "a hell of a lot cleaner than this place", as though picking up shit is something that can't be done at his current residence. I mean, it's sad when you think that there are people who function on this level daily...but then you see how they act, and it's like "well, no wonder why", lol. I started to feel bad for him, and then he dropped the term "sand nigger" and that cleared that right up. Watching DrP1zza is like staring at a car accident. It's horrible...but you just can't look away.

Lol, on the new account there are videos he made of modders on WWE 13 just kicking the shit out of him while he freaks out.
That sounds awesome. I haven't watched those ones yet, lol.

Conceptually that sounds cool, graphically looks pretty rough though...Looks like Gmod meets zombies
Yeah, well, in the Alpha build, I would hope they're just working with very basic textures. I really like the idea of being able to build and modify things though. It's almost like Minecraft + Dead Island. I think it would be pretty awesome as an MMO too. They make it sound like the map is pretty huge with different neighborhoods, a prison, office buildings, etc. It would be cool if you could establish "turf" and have to defend it from not only zombies, but other groups of survivors as well (a la Walking Dead).

Can you chop down trees and build tree houses in DayZ?
I don't see why not, can you ride a bicycle in this crazy game of yours? Cause that's how measure a zombie game. If you can ride a bicycle!

There us also a Day Z mod for minecraft as well.Oh yeah, did I mention Day Z yet? :whistle2:O

This was pretty humorous. Surgeon Simulator TF2 Mode + Oculus Rift + Wee British Man = excellent commentary.

Rob lives!

Also, Euro Truck Simulator 2 is on sale for $19.99 as part of the steam summer sale. Still more than I really want to pay for it.
Yeah, the Steam sale has been pretty terrible thus far. ETS2 was just $14 on one of the other sites last week. I looked at that ets2mp site again and they're claiming they have a more steady team now and that the mod should be released in September. I'd probably pay $15 for the game with assured MP. But with only the promise of single player, I probably wouldn't pay more than $5.

I also saw that Surgeon Simulator is $5.99. I was really hoping for at least a 50% discount on that one too. So, I'll probably pass for now.

I'll be keeping an eye on it. During these sales, since the prices are good for the duration of the sale, its better to wait for the daily/flash sales, and then buy anything you want that wasn't on those sales the last day as Steam wont price match.

On that note, Hotline Miami and Antichamber. Go go go.

Yeah, definitely on board with Alan's "wait until the last day" strategy for anything that isn't a limited time deal. I've also been using isthereanydeal.com's price notification feature to let me know when a game on my wishlist drops to a price I'm willing to pay. Pretty great way to make sure you don't ever miss a deal.

Also, what I like about Farming Simulator 2013 is that it's multi-player. We could all take turns plowing each other's fields...

This would be me playing that game, lol.

Annnnnd ETS2 is now a Steam flash deal for the next 8 hours. $9.99! I feel like I'm probably going to bite on this, lol. It's getting tough to resist.

But even better than that, Bestbuy.com has a Metro Last Light price mistake for $0.01 that they haven't caught yet. Get while the gettin's good

I bit on ETS2. Under $10 feels like a good sweet spot for PC games. I doubt it'll be much cheaper than that any time soon.

I doubt it can live up to this, but we'll see.
