If it's a fat PS3 I would stay with 5400 RPM if possible as the lower heat can make a difference. If it's a slim then go with either one.

Office Depot sells a 500GB WD 5400 RPM laptop HDD for $49.99 right now, just bought one last night.

I think GUNNM Dawg fell asleep while we were playing Dark Souls at the same time together in an XBL party chatting about things like life and stuff.

We're such good friends.

 
Of course Shadow of the Colossus is free this coming month since I just bought it a few weeks ago....

I didn't fall asleep my other console was banned that's why I logged off without saying anything. Whatever you and joel wouldn't understand.

I rang the 2nd bell and immediately fell asleep

I'm so good at dark souls I probably beat it already half awake whatever one of the perks of being a pro gamer. How far did you get? I remember helping you with the ceaseless discharge he dies btw because when he leaps at you he stands over a pit and gets stuck

I was being sarcastic about my banned console the second time.

I feel asleep while me and indidawg were in party chat. Dark souls is fucking great I had to start over again so far I've lost a SL 160 melee/pyro guy lost my new char Jean who was sorcery SL 120 because I had to switch xboxs and now I'm making a boring ass Miracle user named Rachel.

You can get the claymore pretty early and its easy to get and probably one of the best swords in game. So I don't know miracle user is pretty shitty, sorcery PVE makes the game really easy. You could always get the claymore and use crystal enchant with it or use great moonlight sword which stacks with INT making you go the sorcery route

Played more pikmin 3 last night too. It is fun but the time limit sucks. Why do dey do dat doe.

Or you could just do everything. Worked for me.

You just need to figure out what to dabble in to be effective.

 
Drake sword only works for like... the first 25% of the game -- unless you want to waste materials to upgrade it.

I wish I could remember what I ended up using -- I think I liked the Iaito and the Washing Pole.  Japanese swords for a Japanese game. ;)

You can get the Uchigatana instead if you kill that first merchant -- however, I don't like the thrust for the power move of the Uchi, so I prefer the Iaito (or Washing Pole, but a Washing Pole is much more difficult to attain).

The character I had when I platinumed the game had a lightning Iaito + 10 and maybe a Chaos Washing Pole + 10.  Never left home without them. ;)

I think I hit like +1, maybe +2 before I decided it wasn't worth the materials that it required as a "unique" weapon.

It helps a ton at first while your SL is low... but by the time you hit the sewers or so, it starts to fizzle in terms of usefulness. Lucky, by then you can grab the Iaito from the beginnings of the Blighttown scaffolding and go upgrade it. ;)

Depends on if you like the moveset for that sword type.

It's not like it's superpowered until you get it all upgraded anyway... it's just a solid weapon.

If you enter Blighttown from the sewer, after the initial section is clear (blowdart guy, several large dudes), you should come to a section where you're able to run and jump toward a platform that's above everything else and you can't get up there otherwise. That's the Iaito.

Washing Pole you have to join the forest clan first... then you can find Shiva of the East or whatever his name is at the bottom of Blighttown under the waterwheel.

I went back and picked it up. I totally didn't miss that jump the first time either...

Drake Sword doesn't scale right? That's what makes it chump in late game?

I want dat Sephiroth sword :drool:
