Caved in and ordered a 3DSXL on Amazon since it was only 122 on the Warehouse after that coupon that's floating around (RMENOT10 for 10% off a Warehouse order) and I'm not even sure if I wanted one or not, but I figure I can make that back now selling my normal 3DS...

After rummaging through what I all have I got:
Cosmo Black 3DS complete with box

A 2 piece red cover for the 3DS

Nyko Powerpak+ battery

Circle Pad Pro

A red case with some stuff like game holders, styluses, and screen cleaner

A sealed Screen Shield Kit

A sealed Clean & Protect Kit

I'll probably just bundle all of that stuff together and sell it all at once, see if there's any other things I have lying around, I might be able to upgrade and make a few bucks after all this I guess

Impulses, I was browsing the AWD thread, saw that 10% off coupon and how it might only be good for today (didn't find a solid answer) so I casually looked around, saw the RED 3DS XL in Acceptable condition, so it's already as cheap as it will get, take that 10% off it's even better...plus red is my favorite color, and even though it's just the outside finally having a red system will be awesome. Hopefully I can get used to the style of it, since when I've messed around with them before I did prefer the smaller system, and I've heard the headphone jack on the XL isn't as good which sucks since I basically am always playing with headphones. But I guess If I'm able to sell all my stuff and make like 140, that's technically an upgraded system + 20 bucks in my pocket, and if I can't get used to it I can just sell the XL for what I bought it for, figured this way I'll be able to give it a fair chance and wont really lose out either way.

 
Maaan, 66 is young. Rainbow 6 and Ghost Recon were great games and probably the ones he had the most influence on. Maybe I'll check out his books.

I hate that...it's so annoying. You can find it online somewhere but it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. Like on the account page or transactions or some crap.

Does Muramasa Rebirth pick up at all? I'm only about an hour in but so far it seems a bit shallow. The game is gorgeous but I'm not sure I want to put in another 15 hours. Howlongtobeat lists it at 16.

Not sure which one you're on, but Momohime has a notably better campaign than the dude does.

I didn't know which was which when I started, I'm Momohime. I'll give it some more time. It's just weird the game is so good looking but the world feels so static. I'm not even sure what I was wanting or expecting at this point though.

I'd love to see Nintendo team up with Vaniallaware though and make a new 2D Metroid. That would be sick. One can dream right?

 
Sad to hear about Tom Clancy. Never read any of his books, but I watched most of his movies and played several of his games. He was truly a pioneer in bridging various media formats to his spy fiction. The innovations in gameplay and storytelling that highligted many of his games will never be forgotten. I hope whomever is overseeing his legacy doesn't sell out and cheapen his accomplishments.

Time to start Shadow Wars on the 3DS.
 
Alright, got my Rune Factory 4 in the mail! Looking forward to putting some time into that, and the XL should be tomorrow as well!

It's true. The theatre in town only sold three tickets to it during opening weekend so it got kicked out and replaced with something else that came out around that time. Same thing kinda happened with Man of Steel, except that lasted a week. Guess neither of them were really draws for the military bros and hicks that live around here. Though, both of them also were out of the theatre in the college town about an hour away in less than a week too, so maybe they're just movies that Kansans hate.

15 hours is ridiculous, unless it's counting "beating the game" as doing everything and both campaigns.

I did everything short of fury mode, including getting all 3 endings for each, getting all 108 blades, beating all the caves, etc. It took me about 30 hours total.

You can speed run Kisuke's section in under 3 hours. In fact, there's a trophy for doing it. I clocked in at 3.30 on my first attempt at a speed run and then cut it down to like 2:35.

And it depends on what you mean by pick up.

If you don't like the story and you don't like the combat and getting new weapons, then no.

If you get decent at the combat and don't have it set on easy, then yeah, it can be a good time.

Completely disagree. They're pretty much the same outside of the story told and the bosses encountered.

Momohime's bosses are more difficult in many cases though.

The world does feel kind of static. Part of that is because most of the running from a to b is the same with a change in backgrounds. The real draw of the game should be the combat. While it's not super deep, there's enough variation between the different special techniques and learning to block/dodge properly that it's a good time overall.

I see Splinter Cell Toy Plane Edition is $99.99 @amazon.  I'm tempted, but I think this can go even lower.  If this is still around come BF, I think we'll see another $20-$40 off.  Come on SC Bomba!  We can do this!!!

Bosses were the main attraction to me, and hers were considerably more interesting.
