That's weird. I just ordered the PS Vita and didn't get charged shipping.

Anyone know of a deal on memory cards?
gamestop has an 8gb for $10. amazon price matched them last night but it says they're temporarily out of stock. you can still order one though.

the vita on sale at ebay is the 3G/WIFI version, I don't want the 3G.  If I buy the 3G version do I have to sign up for a 3G plan?

Re: the eBay/Newegg Vita deal, for those that got one from the RadioShack deal, I'm thinking there's no advantage here. It's a little cheaper but you don't get the 8GB card, and if there's any issue it's likely going to be more of a hassle than taking it back to a RadioShack store.

The white surface keyboard is still available for 39.99 free s/h if you didn't get it when you bought your surface 32GB, great deal, normal price is 79.99.

Anybody know if the encryption can be disabled on those hard drives?

I had an external with encryption that had the USB connection fail on me. As a result, it was impossible to access the hard drive thanks to that damn encryption. Luckily, it was a backup of stuff that was still on my PC. So I didn't lose any data. But it's made me gun-shy about buying hard drives with encryption.

EDIT: After reading some reviews of the 2TB drive, it looks like you have to specifically opt-in for the password & Encryption when setting up the hard drive if you want those features active. Obviously I don't, so I'm glad to read that it's optional.

In for one.

Does anyone know how to get a WD external hard drive to be recognized by the PS3? I bought a 1 TB WD my passport external hard drive, downloaded that partition wizard program and changed the file type to FAT32, but no matter what I do, it keeps saying "connect storage media to save destination". I have no idea what to do.

I'm wondering if the Wii U will show up in the sidebar of ebay deals page or not? So far that shows up to late tomorrow night.

Edit: It looks like new deals go live at midnight PST.

Hmmm I want a WiiU but not sure if I should buy it or wait for an Amazon Warehouse deal.

EDIT: It's OOS anyway.

Wii U Bundle was dead. If Buy kept that pace up a few minutes more and they could have done more sales then the Wii U did in the months right after launch!

Tons of people buying 5 at a time. Damn.

Well the Wii went out of stock while I was checking out. Man everything this weekend has conspired against me getting a Wii U at $250.

Ebay is such a joke they should have more reliable stock if they're going to be advertising these deals like that.
2,000 units isn't shabby---they could have easily hit 10,000 had they left it up for an hour.

Problem is that they didn't limit it to one per account. I'd say the majority of the orders were 3+ units.

They said the sale would start at 9 pm PT. When I checked out I refreshed the page and it said 7 bought. I refreshed 2 or 3 minutes later and it said over 400 were sold. So glad I had the chance to buy one because I was buying Wii U games all week without knowing if I would be able to get the ebay bundle. Sweet deal!

The MS Surface 32GB is even more insane... many people buying 10 at a time!

When/where was it said that the deal would go live at 9pm PT? There were at least 3 times on this page when someone asked when this deal was going to go live and no one answered. Only thing I saw was someone saying they thought deals went live at midnight PST, which clearly isn't the case.

I saw it on the front page of ebay. Plus all the deals have been happening around 9 pm for black friday anyway. I just kept doing a search for wii when 9pm came around and it eventually popped up; I didn't see it on the deals page.
