GGT 301 is a Skype party

DmC is not good.  I deleted it off my HDD and it was free.  If it was not free, I would be upset.

Also, NBA 2K14 has an android app that gives you free VC.  I like that.

DMC3 > DMC4 > DMC1 > DmC > DMC2
This is more like it... though DMC1 is kind of a special case where it shouldn't be directly compared to the rest... the focus wasn't the combat there, where in DMC3 and DMC4 the first focus was the combat... it really does play differently.

DmC brings DMC style combat to a musou game, as far as I'm concerned. The game uses a lot of the staple DMC moves, but it doesn't feel like a DMC game.

That said, it wasn't terrible, probably because of all the Capcom guidance on the combat.

Did one of you guys add GhostDawg on facebook yet?

I would PM him but I don't want to seem needy so I'm just looking to add him through one of you.
Action and Icebizzle did because we're friends. Facebook friends. Which basically means we're all besties now.

forgot I had an online course and I need to buy books for that too ugh

good shit dawg how fast is your mile if you don't want to say its cool
I don't run or jog, sorry. I kind of just walk because I have a bad knee. :/

All this Facebook talk, I haven't used my account on there in a loooooooong time

Well the voices in it are really good at least, nothing wrong with hiring known people IMO, I mean, Patrick Stewart.

This one would be more on ZeniMax then Bethesda tho, they only publish :O Also seeing them actually go with the M rating for an MMO is interesting, and Age of Conan had it and was pretty fun so who knows.
You should use yours! We can be closerrrr!

Happy birthday, Snakey!

So you'll play a game that has the same shitty combat engine as Skyrim?

Okay. Whatever.

I'll just play the better game with Zeki then.

Due to inclement weather, all Alamo Colleges locations will be closed Friday, January 24th until 10 a.m.. All classes and activities are canceled during this time frame. The colleges will reopen at 10 a.m., Friday. Students, faculty and staff should resume their normal schedules at that time.

My class is at 8-10, so... thanks obama

I may actually play Elder Scrolls Online.

I mean, I won't, but still.
Welllllll, with that 20% off from Best Buy plus the $10 in rewards points you get back I'll pick it up, it helps that when I played Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim that all I wanted was co-op, and that's what this is :D

Wow.

Pretty sure that was a gift from someone too.

Why don't you just spit in their face while you say that?

Skyrim's combat is the same as it was in Oblivion. Yeah, it's an amazing and beautiful game but the combat holds it back IMO. The magic system was improved, which made it fun. Stealth/bow is fun but man, the swords....

They didn't really seem to update it for the MMO. Tera did a great job with the whole action-MMO thing. Like I've said, they should update the combat engine. Magic was updated but using a sword in TES is boring.

I had no problems with the combat in Skyrim or Oblivion and I was primarily a melee character, I hit stuff with my weapon and they got hurt, I don't see a problem with that

Also, Skyrim had garbage magic. Hooray, I've stunlocked the guy, now I'll wait 45 seconds for him to die because my attacks do shit damage.

The animations were clunky and completely barebones. Compare it to Fallout 3 where the VATS allowed different damage to different body parts, etc.

Either way, with the bit I played of Dragon's Dogma it just made me realize just how much more of an update TES combat needs.

I dunno, I thought both TES and Fallouts combat were both good and fitting for their respective games, as for the music, I never thought it was anything special but it worked

Same. My main character was Molag Bal mace and shield. I mean, there isn't much too it, it's just swing swing swing, but it was competent enough to get me through my time with the game. I'm not sure how else you can do first person melee. Make it so you can aim, like in Dead Island? Yeah, that's cool, but it doesn't really make the combat any less boring.

Magic fuuuuuuuuuuuuuckin sucks. The scaling in that game makes it so damn weak.

I mean, don't you always talk shit about Dragon's Dogma?

Oh wait, you said you only played a bit.

You were doing a whoknows thing.

I see.

Finally got around to trying the new Twisted Metal that I got on Black Friday, it's actually pretty fun, I loved the old ones and was worried with what I all heard about it, sucks that there is much less single player content since they focused on online and that's close to dead though, I think I remember seeing someone on here talking about it before, we should try the multiplayer of that sometime whoever that was!

I forgot all about that new Twisted Metal.
It's pretty fun, kinda sucks that there are only 4 characters now and the specials are based on vehicles, but I can still use Axel's giant wheels at least, always loved those in the old games. Kind of a shame I don't think many people in this thread have it, it would be one of those games that would be pretty fun to play in a bigger group.
