Did anyone else pick up Tetris (vita)? I'd like to play some online and see if it sucks. I have no idea if I'm good or not.

Also, impossible trophy list. Protip: if you are going to try for some trophies, tank the main mode 20 times just incrementally improving your score. There's a trophy than involves beating your own high score 20 times and if you do awesome at first that might get tough.

Game is downloaded, but big ass (relatively speaking) patch is downloading now. Probably won't play until I get back to the hotel tomorrow night. Pinburgh tomorrow!
 
All the media outlets were reporting the Mets trading Wilmer Flores and Zack Wheeler to the Brewers for Carlos Gomez and the Mets GM just said, it's not happening and won't happen.

I thought you were lying because they suck but nope, there it is. I guess no one told the GM that they're not contenders. And yes he's under contract for 3 more years and Darvish comes back next year but eh, I'm not feeling it.

They need a lot of help with their lineup. I just looked at their roster and other than Fielder and Moreland, no ones doing much for them. And Moreland's been a very streaky hitter in the past based on what I remember him doing in fantasy baseball.

I'm not real familiar with their system, so I don't know who they've got that's close to coming up. If Joey Gallo could actually make contact with the ball more often, his power could really help them.

It looks good but I'm not sure if making your ship fire off to the right is a good thing or not. On one hand, you'll advance through waves a little faster... but on the other, you'll miss out on all the geoms from those enemies.

Wait, aren't you right above me on the leaderboard? I mean, no, that's not right at all! Scrap the whole thing! And rubberbanding your vita like that ruins it so now you have to throw it in the garbage.

I traded in Batman AK tonight at Best Buy. Figured I'd trade it in now before it drops further. I'll work on the missing trophies another time. I passed on some trophies because I wanted to make the trade before they closed.
 
Finished Condemned 2, it has a really weird (as in peculiar) mythology. The melee system ended up being fairly functional and responsive throughout but I think with a few tweaks it could have worked better. There were only a couple of instances when I was stuck going around in circles, not sure where to go next. Usually that involved missing a hole in the ceiling I was supposed to look at which gives the option to climb or a not very well lit lever.

At least #notrophies means you can move on to something else instead of playing it again for collectibles or whatnot.

Play-asia and still waiting. I should have ordered at that site. How much was it plus shipping? (can you tell me separately what the price was?).

Oh well I had Lost Dimension coming so I was in no hurry to get the game so I did EMS. Total price came to about $48 plus change.

Yeah I'll let you know what I think of the game. The only reason I pre-ordered because it won't be making it over to the states. Figured buy it now for $35 + $9 3 Day Fedex isn't bad for day 1. The game looks fun but I know I'll never get the platinum because I have lots of trouble with hard levels in rhythm games.

Same here man. Knowing that the game won't be making it over the states and $40ish for a new rhythm game made me preorder it. Plus it has a few songs I like (or was that Taiko that had the songs I liked).

Yep, finding the collectibles isn't really that hard as I found them naturally on about 3/4ths of the levels, but to gold the levels (which is an achievement requirement on the 360) you have to perfect the forensic sections too and I almost always messed up something in those. So I only got gold on 3 levels. At the end of each level you get an upgrade and it depends whether you got bronze, silver, or gold (100%) that determines the quality of the upgrade. Like when the upgrade is acquiring the stun gun, scoring a bronze gives you a gun with only 1 charge, silver 3, and gold 5.

That makes me sad that we can't have more than one account on the vita. I missed out on all the dlc for Gundam Breaker 1 and 2.

That's kind of why I skipped on Taiko for now as there is still a slight chance it could come over to the states and I don't want to miss out on the dlc songs.

I passed on Taiko because I'm hoping for a release in the states. When I hear it's never coming over than its a different story.

I read lone wolf and the wizards and warriors etc. Those books were great. They made you roll dice and starting equipment and it carried from book to book. If you are a super nerd like myself, they even made a ds version of the first 2 lone wolfs to play on ds homebrew.

also ps+ sucks this month. Lara Croft is nice but i had everything else pretty much. Limbo is limbo.

also about to plat Hotline Miami. A+'ing levels like a boss. Just missing a few more 'always on top' kills. This game is brutal

My daughter just went to an R5 concert last night and on top of the tickets, spent another $40 on a shirt that comes down to her knees and a plastic bracelet.... I ain't got no $6 for some tetris.

 
this turbo controller shit is great by the way. I finished that divekick trophy and now those fightsticks are taking care of my sfxt online match trophies. how deep does this rabbit hole go?
