Weber for Subban was because of there head coach. A lot of disagreements from Subban and the head coach. Larson for Hall is so Larson can play with his old team mate and because Oilers think he's the missing piece. Weber for Subban is just crazy. To support a head coach that speaks French over an elite defenseman is just plain stupid. Stamkos signed for 8.5 a mil a year as well.

If I was a Rangers fan, first thing would to be to get rid of Nash. His contract is ridiculous and stupid. 7.8 Million for a 15 goal scorer and 21 assists? Yeah, Hell No

The crazy thing about the Weber/Subban trade is Weber's contract was so front loaded, Subban will actually cost more over the next six years. The difference is Weber's isn't due to expire until he's 41 years old (way to go, Flyers...asshats). This helped the Preds get a good bit younger though. Now, all of their top 4 defensemen are 27 or younger.

Part of me worries that Subban and Josi are too similar though. Both get a lot more assists than they do goals. I don't want to see any NHL 16 shit of them just throwing it back and forth to each other, haha.

I picked up Golf With Your Friends today. The ball options are amazing. In addition to a regular ball, you can hit an egg, cube, cylinder, cone, isosphere, or a puck. You can also make it random for each hole with all players getting the same...or random for each hole with each player getting something different.

There's also low gravity, bouncy ground, collisions, and the ability to make your ball jump on command. Basically, it's awesome. :)

Ha...Nashville goes out and signs Yannick Weber today. The weird thing about all of the Weber's in the NHL (Shea, Mike, and Yannick) is that they are all defensemen who wear #6. But I guess Yannick has already said he isn't going to take #6 in Nashville. Probably a good move since it might rub some fans the wrong way. I kind of think it would be hilarious though...and would make my daughter's jersey relevant again, haha.

Owww...that fucking sucks. Hope you're ok. This is why I play video games. Real life is a son of a bitch.

On a lighter note, if you had stopped to take that sweet office chair at 0:11, that probably would have never happened.

Damn, hope you're ok. Looks like it because you got up and walked away like a damn OG!! Lol. I was like, we're going to see Alan's face and no.

Yeah, just a few scrapes and bruises from the impact with the car. I somehow stayed on my feet didn't even hit the ground myself lol.

And well, heres a pic from a different ride ;)

Funny thing I just noticed...that ADR1FT game is $9.99 in Steam's summer sale. It's also on sale in the Oculus Store as part of their summer sale...for $13.99. Glad to see Oculus's bullshit store isn't affecting prices. Seriously, fuck you, Oculus. I'd honestly love to see an HTC Vive 2.0 be ready for this holiday (around when the Oculus Touch controllers are finally expected to release), improve on all the shortcomings the original Vive has (weight, cords, screen door effect), and see them knock $50-100 off the price and just blow Oculus's shit up.

Can't believe how disappointed I am in the direction they took. "Affordable, consumer friendly VR" took such a turn to the dark side. They finally got rid of the DRM that wouldn't let people play Rift games on the Vive (only after a shitstorm of internet outrage). On the other side, I've been able to run Vive games on my DK2 since day one. And thanks to a new project, you can now use freaking PS Move controllers in SteamVR almost natively (just have to run a service before starting SteamVR).

Valve just seems to be crushing Oculus on almost all fronts.

Ha...the title of the article; "68 Things We Know About NHL 17". So, I guess they owe us one?

* EA has worked a lot to improve the A.I.'s facing direction, breakout recognition, off-puck assignments, and ability to capitalize on rush opportunities.

New NHL 17 Info:

So, there are apparently 30 new goal celebrations. I don't even understand how that's possible. I feel like that alone would have taken up all of EA's development time, haha.

Also, the NHL 94 team celebration and a special equipment pack (stick, skates, and gloves) is listed as being a pre-order bonus.

Sorry, guys. Power went out. We finally got that thunderstorm they've been forecasting all week. Gotta be up early in the morning, so I'm just going to call it a night now. This crap better not happen again tomorrow night, haha.

So, nVidia just released a VR carnival thing on Steam for the HTC Vive...and the system requirements for it are craaaaazy.

To enter into the high-tech VR Funhouse, you’ll need one of the system configurations recommended below:

Medium Quality
High Quality
This is the kind of thing that makes me question how good PSVR will actually be. nVidia should know what they're doing...and this is a mini game collection that needs a 980Ti or better...

I'm going to try to play it on my "lowly" 970 (assuming the PSMoveService mod will work with it) and see how it runs.

PSVR is really good. If you have a chance go test it at Gamestop. A lot of the Reddit forums are saying its beating out Oculous. Its just amazing that it runs on a PS4.
