This. Ordered Walmart gift cards on two accounts to help pay for my PS4, even re-sent the confirmation emails, didn’t get anything, but then I went to the order page and just clicked the redeem link that appears and took screen shots. Not sure what’s up but I’m glad there’s a way around it.

Are those up already? They had a vote in the stream earlier today about which country the next specialty dealer cars would be from, and said they'd be up for that price at the usual time tomorrow. Can't remember if I checked the specialty dealer for the past week yet.

Beat that game I want to say a couple of years ago when I went through the entire Assassin's Creed series. Even with its "HD" it still feels like a handheld port. But it is still a solid game with a fairly likable protagonist (first playable female assassin from what I can remember). It's definitely worth $7.99. Hopefully it never goes GWG, but I certainly enjoyed playing it.

You should be able to. Just make sure you are signed into your gamertag on your phone when you buy it. I buy all mine on a PC and they show up on my Xbox One just fine.

I already double-dipped on Lady Liberty, but I'm tempted to go for a third just so I don't have to drag my Playstation 3 out of mothballs just to play it. (I have it on Vita too, but my Vita is... not in great shape.)

The things I'm hearing about the Battle Royale mode are encouraging, won a beta code off something so I'll be checking it out. It's still a weird value proposition for me since I haven't been way into regular COD multi in awhile and I've just never been into Zombies. No single player campaign to at least be half amused playing through, don't think I'll be putting down the $59.... if they just did Battle Royale for $39/$29 though.....

Not sure if I saw the news mentioned here, but you know how Pinball Arcade/Farsight Studios lost the rights to all the Bally/Midway tables this summer? Well Zen picked them up. It will be interesting how it works out as bad as Xbox support was from Farsight due to issues beyond their control and some that were like their pricing model, they really did some great emulation of the tables. I like Zen stuff too but it was always just more fantastic stuff that couldn't happen on a real life table.

I haven’t even got an email I just seen it on the Xbox rewards app and I did 2 of the challenges but it don’t seem to be counting my days logged in.

I also got a pop up a few weeks ago on my computer saying I got 500 rewards points for my “anniversary” that never appeared.

I bought my Elite controller 2 years and 3 months ago. The grips started peeling at about 18 months. They have not gotten much worse at least.

Honestly 18 is fair if you know what you are getting in to. Elex is a ‘eurotrash’ rpg. Which means there is a lot of jank, a lot of crazy shit you can’t do in other games and a lot of interesting half baked ideas. I’ve seen it called garbage and the best rpg in years. In other words it is like every other Pirahna Bytes game.

Did you like the Gothic games or the Risen series? If so this will be a warm blanket that will make you happy.

It's super unpolished, but great if you know what to expect. It was on sale at GameStop a few months back, so a few of us wrote more detailed write-ups then. Basically, you can't win if you try fighting the game intended. You have to constantly cheese enemies and even then, you'll barely survive because your attacks are limited to your stamina gauge whereas they have unlimited stamina.

The jetpack which you always have helps traveling a lot. If you ever thought walking in an open-world RPG is too laborious, fuck walking! It's amazing to rain death from above with a laser rifle. There are three factions in the game: one is futuristic, one is Fantasy/medieval, and the other uses scrapyard salvage for weapons, so being able to choose which faction to join is like giving you freedom to make the game's setting sci-fi, Fantasy, or Wasteland apocalyptic.

A nice perk of the game not being made in America is that there's absolutely no political correctness. I was shocked when I pushed a junkie to overdose so that I wouldn't have to fight him in an arena.

Finished Spider-Man yesterday. I enjoyed it but I don't think it's as good as any of the Arkham games overall, but that could easily change with a sequel as they've laid a very solid foundation.

But so far, a few hours into Spider-Man, I say Arkham Asylum is still top dog. That one was damn near flawlessly executed, both as a Batman sim and as a compelling gameplay experience.

It's straight up takes and copies Arkham ideas and execution of those ideas. Because of that it's familiar, its a great game (been playing it non stop) but Rocksteady created this template, showed the world how to create a great superhero game, and Spiderman doesn't take any of that forward, simply repackaged it.

Rocksteady are a team with ideas, I have more confidence in them to come up with genuine brilliant mechanics for Comic book games then others, Spiderman hasn't changed that.

Arkham Trilogy it’s superior in every aspect. The new Spiderman it’s fun, but nothing more than that. Just a product of the overhyped superhero trend.

'm about halfway through and still think City comes out on top. Arkham's combat is still superior and its missions/side missions are much better and more consistently fun. For a first entry, though, Spiderman is amazing, so I wouldn't be surprised if the sequel could beat Arkham City.

Never thought Id see the day reset*ra is less pro sony biased than some caggers in an xbox thread. and theres 100s posts like this. some also do like spiderman more but the majority seems to think batman is better DESPITE lots of people always praising their newest game for the first few days, even if they never play it again a week later. whats the point of these console wars? I dont see xbox owners going in the sony threads and saying they love gamepass, graveyard keeper, forza, sea of thieves and so on? Why not just enjoy the games, many people have both consoles anyways.

Yes I have been paying attention mainly cause of this thread and it prompted me to go fire up the game. I didn't realize I purchased 23 mostly Star Wars tables somewhere along the line.

I'm excited for the possibility of them doing all the Bally and Williams tables. Would be awesome to load a game and have access to over a hundred tables, both fantasy and real.

Wife's favorite game on The Pinball Arcade is Attack from Mars so I hope Zen ends up doing that one early on.

As you said many of us have both consoles. As much fun as I am having with the game you seem to want no mention of here I will be playing FH4 next month.

I like this thread better then the PSN thread because typically you can talk about Switch (which I don't own) and PS4 as well. Good games are good games regardless of which console or consoles they are on.

I am sure the talk of the game not to be mentioned will blow over here soon.

Other then Forza Horizon 3 and some of Destiny 1/2 I don't go back to most games very often anymore. Almost every Friday since I got FH3 I play the Forzathon. Even though I have all the cars they are giving out at this point. Last game I played semi regularly before that was Borderlands 2. Both on XBox One and PS4.

I usually finish a game and move on. Especially if it is a single player game. Most of the time I don't even bother with the DLC.

Just not seeing the console wars here in this thread.

Never thought Id see the day reset*ra is less pro sony biased than some caggers in an xbox thread. and theres 100s posts like this. some also do like spiderman more but the majority seems to think batman is better DESPITE lots of people always praising their newest game for the first few days, even if they never play it again a week later. whats the point of these console wars? I dont see xbox owners going in the sony threads and saying they love gamepass, graveyard keeper, forza, sea of thieves and so on? Why not just enjoy the games, many people have both consoles anyways.

I mean maybe it’s because people in this thread aren’t only Xbox fan boys but actually just like good games?

I personally don’t mind because I enjoy the conversation between people in this thread and respect many of their opinions. The PSN thread is relatively dead in comparison to this one TBH.

What can I say, regardless of if we are talking Halo or Spider-Man or the best damn hot dog — XBL thread homies forever!

This was before the costume DLC craze really went off, but it takes at least 6 hours per character to unlock each character's costumes. There are 50 characters. Question your sanity before you do anything totally stupid.

 
Spider-Man is hot on Playstation 4 right now. So what does Microsoft give us for backward compatibility? Not Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, or Spider-Man 2 on classic Xbox. Nope, we get cheesecake wrestling. DERP

I keep waiting and hoping that Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions goes backwards compatible. With Zone of the Enders now BC, I have renewed hope for Metal Gear Solid 2 & 4

Ugh... CPA exam scores released today, just missed it by a couple points. Once I finally pass these tests I'll have so much gaming time!!!

It does sound interesting, minus the actual fighting. I'll pick it up, but I'll wait for it to drop more.

Edit: Were there difficulty options then? Apparently they were patched in at some point. That might make combat better.
