A website I've never heard of, dealscube.com, has Dragon's Crown for PS3 for $40 shipped. Which is tempting. Anyone ever done business with these guys?
I preordered and they still haven't shipped; tracking says "located in stock."
Supposed to get to me sometime next week. I guess I've learned my lesson!
Fantastic deal on a superb game. I bought this at release for significantly more, but I'm not complaining. I'm probably in the minority here, but of BioWare's two most recent releases, I think this one is clearly superior.
Sorry if this is slightly off topic, but what's the 50% off deal with Batman CE? I searched this board and checked the Amazon listing, but didn't see anything.
Wow, both in law school and they disagree! Who'da thunk it?
Basically, I agree with unclenebber. Amazon never represented this discount to us; ECA did, so it's up to ECA to fulfill it. If they're unable to come to terms with Amazon, they need to come clean and stop promoting the discount...
So, basically what ECA is saying is: JOIN ECA and get a 10% DISCOUNT on GAMES at Amazon.com!!! (shh, don't tell anyone, but the discount is basically bogus).
That's BS.
What do you mean by "to get to the part"? Do you mean you had to wait for them to send you an offer, and it took a while? I joined on the website, but don't see anywhere on the website where you can pay for a membership.
I just bought it at the Concord Fry's, where it rang up for $29.99 (honest!). Of course, I immediately pointed out the pricing error. ....... Yeah, right!
I guess the data entry person was confused by the same ad everybody else was. Let's hear it for ambiguous ad layouts!
I have Star Trek: A Final Unity, Quake, and Quake 2, all Collector's Editions (big boxes), all sealed in the original factory shrink wrap. Are these worth anything?
Play is merely a vehicle for "editor" Dave Halverson to get free games and anime so he can be a cheerleader for the industry. I subscribed for a year, but am happy that it no longer comes, and have tossed all my back issues. The mag looks nice, but the editorial invariably turns my stomach...
