For what it's worth, there was no mention of a steelbook at the NYCC panel. It probably is just Gamestop jumping the gun until proper images are released.
Namco confirmed at the NYCC panel that there would be a limited edition like ToX. It includes the light novel and soundtrack, just no figures or bigass box. Gonna be ordering this version since I don't care for the trading figures.
I ended up going to Joanns and getting some cardstock on sale at 3 sheets for $.99. I figure if I'm going to take the time to hand address all of these I can spend five minutes cutting them out.
You can only claim your online code starting Oct 29 whereas the Taco/mail-in codes start Sept 26.
Considering they'll be picking a winner about every 15 minutes throughout the contest you're going to want to get your entries in early.

An update to in-store preorder at Target: looks like no go. They only had the preorder cards for just the game and not the bundle which makes me think it's going to be an online only preorder for Target. Oh well, guess I'll just have to wait for shipping.

This game isn't popular enough to have a "street date" which is the earliest possible day retailers are allowed to sell a game. The Feb 4 date is a "ship date" which is the day the games leave the warehouses to the physical stores. In most cases, the stores won't actually stock the games until...
