Just for further confirmation, I ordered this two days ago and got the English (Theatrical) subtitles version. I was relieved since I was trying to replace the bad subtitled disc. :P

Haha, that's kind of funny. Too bad the new 16x9 versions are 1.66:1 not 1.85:1 omg. I might end up getting this version of eyes wide shut anyway, I'm very interested in all the extras and the uncensored thing is nice. :P

Huh? It IS cropped, they WERE filmed in 1.33:1. The Shining and Full Metal Jacket also were, the rest were filmed in widescreen. The 1.33:1 versions include the entire filmed picture, the widescreen ones cut off the top and bottom of the picture. Like I said, it can be argued that the scenes...

The majority of the movies they release are classics or foreign films that you can only get through them. They're expensive cause they actually put a TON of work into their dvds and they're a pretty small company.
