No e-mail as of an hour after leaving the store. I should say that I did order one card off the website this morning; I suppose it's possible that RZ detected the attempted double-dip and so didn't generate the 800 point code for that reason.

Bought a 3-month card (with the scratch-off code on the back) in store about 30 minutes ago. It rang up for $12.99, but I can't see anything on the receipt about a point code. So maybe the deal is dead in store too?

I couldn't find any 1600 XBox Live point cards in the Kmart in Mishawaka, IN, either in the electronic section or by the front of the store. (They had the 4000 point cards stocked in the electronics section.) Is there a way to check if they have any in inventory? I stopped by very briefly...

Alpha Protocol is a lot like Deus Ex or Mass Effect 1: an RPG/shooter with a good story and a lot of variation in outcomes (much more so than Mass Effect), but it is bogged down with clunky game mechanics, some bad design decisions, and a glut of bugs (more so in the PC version than on the 360)...

Bioshock's story was uniquely genre-breaking. Bioshock 2's story certainly is not, so in that respect, the story is not notworthy. But it does have a good story compared to your average first-person shooter (of course that isn't saying very much).

As of 30 minutes ago: Mass Effect 2 (360): $35 GTA4: Episodes from Liberty City (360): $15 After +60%, I got $80...basically just what I paid for these two games from Amazon on release day!
