What i did was pick up the PS3 version from target. Had a $10 coupon, and they gave a $20 GC with it. It comes with a voucher you enter on PSN. I don't think the PS3 is required in any way, you just have to insert the PS3 disc in the PS4 to play it. On another note, in case it wasn't mentioned...

I can't find anywhere this was covered, so sorry if it's been clarified already... Does anyone know if the $20 GC at target for assassin's creed is given with the PS4 version? The black friday ad does not specify a platform, but the website indicates it on the older ones, but not PS4/XB1.

i've had this happen a few times. it appears to be intermittent. i would assume there is still a lot of traffic on their site and it's not handling it well at all times.

i finally got an e-mail confirming my order with HP that was placed late night on the 21st. when i check my order status now, the layout of the page has changed, and shows tomorrow to be both the shipping and delivery date. interested to see what the next update will show.

well, the issue with this is that amazon employees weren't informed when this change happened. just started getting calls about the emails that went out telling customers to upgrade for 99 cents. and this causes a huge problem for orders that have already been placed, because release date...

nintendo games typically come out on sundays now, which is the case with MG2. so would be fairly difficult for them to set up the release date delivery for that one. :cry:

yeah, i've ordered quite a few things from them. my copy of "coming soon" was NTSC/all and plays fine. the only problem i've ever had is waiting for something that was a pre-order that they never got enough of. eventually ended up cancelling it.

yep, you can continue to use credit on games to get more credit forever. each credit is separate, and can be stacked if you have multiples.

my favorite game ever has to be beyond good and evil. it was so ignored at the time, and i remember forcing everyone i knew to play it. still waiting on the sequel :(

if you get them back, it's luck. the system gets confused when an order is canceled or returned, etc. this happens differently depending on the type of promo it is as well. there are emails pre created for making exceptions and re-issuing promos that were used on canceled orders.

unfortunately, if you use a promo on an order, then cancel it, the promo dies with it. which really sucks. and yeah, the marketing and promo dept is very tiny, and gets backed up on about a 48 hour service level a lot. if you get a response you know isn't right, just write back. it will...
