The book is totally worth it, if it's the same version from Japan. I paid about $60 to import the JP version a year ago. It's huge, and everything from the artwork to the quality of the book itself is really well done.

Yep, definitely sit tight a little bit and grab the sequel if you can only pick one. It has free online play, local multiplayer, and still has the RPG storyline. Win win.
