OLED is "organic" not "optical". And while the mechanics are different, LED screens can suffer a form of burn in: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_burn-in#Plasma.2C_LCD_and_OLED_displays.

Good call! Trigun is a great show, I just didn't realize it's on Netflix. Not sure I'd go as far as calling it "vastly superior," but I absolutely agree it's well worth watching. Edit: didn't see later posts, but watch it anyway, even if it's not on Netflix!

Holy cow, finally. I got the first Corpse Party during the last Halloween sale and have been waiting ever since for the sequel to go on sale again. Between this and Yomawari, I know what I'm playing this Halloween! (spoiler: probably Civ VI if I'm being honest...)

Rurouni Kenshin is pretty good up through the end of the Shishio arc. After that it goes downhill. It's an older series, so it won't have some of the more modern polish, but I think it's worth watching despite that.

This is pretty close to how I felt. And yes, those giant explosions put me to sleep because they don't mean anything. There's no build up, there's no risk, there's no drama. All the flashy special effects in the world don't matter if you know exactly what's going to happen and it's the same...

All this talk of bad, popular anime and no one mentions the most recent offender, One Punch Man? SAO was better than OPM, because for all its faults, at least SAO didn't put me to sleep.

No, if you own the game physically, the memory card only holds your save data plus any game updates, so if you play entirely physical games, you could easily get away with a 4 GB memory card (though with the number of digital only games, I wouldn't recommend that).

I own a 3DS, Vita, PS2, PS3, PS4, and gaming PC, and my Vita is easily my most-played system. If there are enough games that you enjoy, I think it's worth paying full price (though deals are frequent enough that having a bit of patience would probably be worth it). If you're an old-school JRPG...

I wish they would have put the individual Arland games on sale as well, or at least given people who own one or two of them a discount. $37 or whatever it is is a great deal for three games, but Rorona+ is the only one I'm missing (since I bought and played it on PS3 originally), and I know it's...

Thanks for the link! I had already pre-ordered the regular edition, so I wouldn't have been watching for this. I'll switch over to the LE as soon as it's available. As for Psycho Pass LE, I got super lucky. They shipped it in a bubble mailer, and then my mail person decided it'd be a fantastic...

Yeah, you completely missed the point. Yes, you can play some Vita games on other systems. You cannot play them on the go on other systems. You mentioned 3DS? Precisely how many games are Vita/3DS multiplat? A small handful of indies? Phone you get some more overlap in the indies, but zero...

Having played the arcade some while I was in Japan, I think Future Tone would would work better with an actual arcade controller. Unfortunately, I asked about that earlier in this thread, and the only options are way the heck outside of my budget...

I'm curious to know as well. My wife and I may be looking into moving in the next year or two and I'd love to be able to use software to track what of our crap is in what box. Man, that does look pretty. I just got done saying over in the Vita thread that any game on Vita might as well be...

Honestly, talking about Vita games not being exclusives because they're also on PS3/PS4/PC is kind of silly. Yes, it's technically true, but talking about Vita/PS4 multiplats the same way as PS4/XBone multiplats is being intentionally deceptive or intentionally dense. The PS4 and the XBone...

A Magical Girl RPG? And with that art style? Holy crap, sign me the heck up. Don't have any suggestions, just want to say that's an awesome looking collection, makes me super jealous.

Personally, I think the question is "What type of gamer are you?" If you are the type who can pick one or two games and stick with them until you're finished and then switch to something new, then you'll almost certainly be fine with a 16 GB card. If you're more like me, who flits between games...
