I remember very vividly someone from this forum mentioning a couple of months ago that Phil Spencer was asked about the return of BC in a private Q&A session for Xbox Fanfest 2020. He confirmed that they are looking to bring the program back in the future.

The return of the backward compatibility program is something I've been looking forward to since they announced the end last year. Without a doubt my favorite feature of the Xbox One.

Isn't BC coming back after Project Scarlett releases? They made it seem like this was the case so don't lose hope on those games becoming BC in the future.

Is there any direct link to the avatar items? The only ad on dashboard is the "Try NEW trigger grips" ad. EDIT: I refreshed the dash by pressing LT+RT+Y and I cycled through many ads except for this one.

There's a couple of NFS games that are still available digitally on the Xbox 360 store. This means that their licenses haven't expired, so I'm really hopeful that they will make them backward compatible.
