What kind of component cables do you have, neocisco, first-party or third-party? I have some crappy MadCatz cables, and in the middle of the cable there's a switch to switch between "TV" and "HDTV" mode. I forget if it's really necessary to have the switch set to HDTV to be able to see the list...
