Don't even bother unless your going for one of those trade in offers. I know I got $4 or $5 for Fatal Frame II back in DEC and they were selling it for $30.
 
Got BG&E GC. The manager must've been the one to check me out, because she gave me the game, but then ordered some kid who worked there to "go scan all of the games again because some are ringing up as $1.99. The website probably has the wrong prices, too."

I really hate when managers get involved.
 
No luck at the Pasadena CC, they only had Powerdrome PS2 and the ones that I found Xmen next dimension PS2, Dave mirra 2, BG&E GC were regular price because of that sticker thats on them :( So I just bought ratchet and clank going commando, which they had plenty of along with Hitman 2(which i didn't buy since I have the pc one)

Previous post said it's called Warrior of Migiht and Magic, so anyone who cares about this should make the correct that.

Mine had the soul reaver and some other game with it for 1.99, and I was looking at it going wow wish that was 1.99, im gonna go back tomorrow and pray that they still have it, Ill just nab whatever they got.
 
I think someone checked it out earlier, Lina I believe, but CC by Mckinley Mall didn't have much. Didn't get anything but I did see a few copies of Chessmaster (PS2) and about 10 Nickelodeon Rocket Power: Beach Bandits (GCN). I was in the area anyway, so it wasn't a waste of gas.

They had Harvest Moon:FOMT (GBA) for $10 at TRU across the street but I already have it, would have been a nice find.

Wow, excellent work guys gettng more games on there. I went last night but the list was only half as big - I KNOW I saw some of the ones added today. I'm going to hit 2 more CC tonight with the new list. My wife is going to kill me because I keep running out for cheap games while she watches the 3 kids (OK, I did bring one of them with me last night).

At my store, Soul Reaver came with Blaster Master: Blasting Again. I know that Soul Reaver is an awesome game, since I watched my roomie in college play through most of it. I haven't had much time to try Blaster Master yet, but what little I saw looked pretty good for a PSOne game. Sunsoft definitely tried to recapture the spirit of the NES original, so for $2 for the both of them, I HIGHLY recommend you grab it! :D
 
i went today and i had them scan about 10 games, and the only one that came up for 2 bucks is big mutha truckers. traded it in to gamerush for 8 bucks, so it wasnt a complete waste of a trip. my CC is across the street from GR

I initially passed on a 2-pack containing the original Tomb Raider and Sky Diving Extreme. I wasn't interested in Tomb Raider, and Sky Diving Extreme sounded "extremely" lame to me. Then, I got curious and started looking around online at some reviews for these cheapass PSOne games, and it turns out Sky Diving Extreme was done by Natsume, and you don't really directly control sky divers. It seems to almost be a sort of rhythm game, in that the game feeds you button sequences and you have to perform them before time runs out in order to keep your team of divers from (presumably) going *splat*. Anyway, there's only one review of it up on GameFAQs, and it's positive...and after Googling up some screenshots, I'm finding myself tempted to go pick it up. Heck, I can make back the money by trading in Tomb Raider at a local shop, I'm sure.

ah i was wondering where that one was. dont venture out to hamburg much. i got a GCN BGandE, a frogger and an extra copy of la pucelle from the one in amherst. there is nothing left at the one in cheektavegas- went all the way there for nothing and was about to holler at the one in the 'burg and now im glad i didnt.
 
AH it was you who took that copy of La pucelle in Amherst. I had it in my hands last wednesday when I was checking for the 1 cent chess master. I almost bought it for $30. I went back yesterday when I heard the price was $2 and it was gone. I managed to pick up 4 of the PS value packs, batman for GCN, Evil Dead, T3 Rise of the machines and jam pack 10 at Amherst and Everquest Adventures, Eternal Darkness and Omega boost for PS at the Cheektawaga one.

Add another gem to the PS2 list - Cat in the Hat is 1.99 ;) And I did mention Aqua Aqua is 1.99 yesterday, but nobody's added it to the list yet...

The Morrowind UPC listed has a missing digit, the correct UPC is 093155116702 ...its the Platinum Hits version, but without the expansions, and not the Game of the Year version. I picked that up and Big Mutha Truckers for the Xbox.
 
No updates or any official list as of tonight folks. Then again our weekly new game release memo wasn't online yet either tonight - and it ususally is, so I suspect that there *MIGHT* be a chance of a list appearing soon. This is just speculation on my part right now, but again this is very unusual. I'm just hopeful that something might emerge real soon - something more definative on this sale.

This is an unadvertised sale right?

My Circuit City, which just opened up about a month ago, still has the games all unorganized and many of them are just in a plastic clamshell without any price stickers.
 
wow, I went and brought two games on the list to the counter, and he scanned them and got this wierd look on his face, then he typed something in and kept looking at the stickers on the games. I expected to be $4 + tax, h asked for $37. I think he overrode the sytem.

I stopped in this evening with list in hand. I looked mostly in the Xbox section, finding only the last copy of Power Drome for $4.96 (marked $29.99). They have a section on the wall with Value Games, but the only game on the list I saw was Mat Hoffman Pro BMX 2 for Xbox. They had two copies there: one with a printed label at $16.99 and another with a sticker gun price of $14.99. I got a price check on both. It seemed like the UPC on the $14.99 wouldn't come up, so he said it was $14.99, while the $16.99 one came up as marked. I check and they had different UPCs on the label, both front and back. I'm guessing the $14.99 one may be the $2 game, but I didn't have time to try to get another cashier to price check it.

I browsed through the PS2 and Cube sections some too. I saw a Jampack in the value bin next to the rocking game chair, but I couldn't tell you which volume. Other than that, I didn't see anything off the list for either system.

My CC just closed, but I did remember seeing the CC Screamin Deals sticksers on some of the value games, like Fur Fighters in the value section, though some were tagged $9.99 - $14.99.
 
I'm gonna be there when they open in the morning. If it's anything like last I went a month or two ago a lot of these games are just sitting around. I'm doubting many have stickers as my CC has about the most apathetic staff ever and the one dude that is always there when I go to these things at CC just thinks it's so cool to sell things so cheap or something so he always helps me. Might try and hit the other closest ones as there seems to be a new store 20miles away since the last sale.

I picked up Wrestlemania XIX (GCN) and Freekstyle (GCN) at the last summer's $5 CC extravaganza. I also got the last Dino Crisis 3. If any Vegas CAG is wondering, I picked these up at the Maryland store, which was basically cleaned out after me and three other people picked it clean. I was the first one in the store and almost got one of everything I wanted. I missed out on Toe Jam and Earl 3 for Xbox and Voodoo Vince (no big deal on this one as I picked it up recently at kmart for $8) because they still weren't on the list and I hadn't thought of checking them as they had recently come out. Just like I had never though of checking Disgaea.

Fur Fighters is one of the games I checked out at the Stephanie store yesterday. I tried all 4 or 5 of them and they all came up normal price and had the stickers on them.

It seems that many of the early listed titles are now ether gone or re-stickered with a "value" price. Also most PS2 games are totaly gone, but there are still XB and GC game to be found.

Well I tried to take advantage of this deal at the Tustin CA store tonight and almost got into an argument with management. The cashier 'questioned' the price and went to the manager who refused to sell the titles at $1.99 even though they confirmed the price. Instead of spending 20 years arguing about it, I took his name, store #, and the corp # and I will be calling in the AM unless u can all argue to me why i should pursue this...
