Used Falcon today...alot and I'm actually having alot fun with him. He's my main from now on - no more trying to win with Marth, it's Falling Falcon Punch time!
 
I thought I did alright for not having played in a few weeks, and I usually play my girlfriend. :lol:

Either way, had fun. I usually Kirby as my main but it seemed like I had better chances with Ike. :lol:

Fun matches, better get some practice in for the next one.
 
Best part for me was nailing the Falcon Punch lol...oh yea, and practically no lag!

Good luck in your games to come, yukine. Had a blast playing you (I'm not just saying that either).

Constructive criticism: Use your down+B more often.
 
Just a few things here. First off, the Smash Records needed to be cleaned up, so I've given them quite the overhaul. I transferred everything over to an Excel spreadsheet (now that my laptop is revived) instead of Microsoft Works Spreadsheet Editor so it should look a little cleaner.

Next, I've set up formulas and a few macros, so now I only have to input data in six fields, and the formulas take care of everything including Rank, Games Behind, Win Percentages, etc. as well as moving everything into rank order. What I'm saying is that the computations are correct. I know some may not look it, but they're correct.

And for those who are curious, this is the current formula that I'm using to determine rank:

= (Division Win Percentage + Overall Win Percentage)/2 + Round Win Percentage/100 + Kill Differential/100,000

So you'll note that primarily, rank is determined by equal parts Division Win Percentage and Overall Win Percentage. Round Win Percentage acts as an initial tie breaker (the large denominator associated with it assures that it doesn't interfere with the first term), and Kill Differential acts as a secondary tie breaker (same principle). This outputs a composite score that Excel ranks from largest to smallest to determine division rank. I thought you guys might be curious given that your division rank will determine whether or not you participate in the post-season bowls. But, do keep in mind that this formula may change given that it hasn't been thoroughly discussed among the three co-hosts. If you guys have some input on the matter, please, do state it.

Joe: I like the new white font. The text looks more clear and legible. I will update the Smash Records on Monday afternoon with whatever is your latest post.

Just a few notes to those who have not had their matches yet:

- According to buttle, zerowing cannot play this week so zerowing has used his bye
- I cannot read minds so make sure to PM me if you will not get your match done by Sunday 12:59 PST
- Season newcomers, yukine and JohnnyFoxDarko, both still have to finish their Week 2 match.
 
Dallow and I played, but I don't remember how many lives he had in the first match. I'll post the results once he PMs me back, unless he posts them first.
 
I'm having wi-fi troubles (just had a hurricane here a couple weeks ago, my room got some water in it, so we cleaned it up and decided to renovate). Well, this weekend when I got all my stuff back in, everything seemed to work fine. Come today, the Wii doesn't want to connect to the wireless network, and I keep getting an error code after about 2 hours of trying to fix it.
So, what I ask is that me and ChibiJosh postpone our match until this upcoming week. I'm sorry I'm being a bit of a hastle (especially after taking N4E's spot), but there's not much I can do. Also, it's fine if I can just forfeit this match. I have PM'd Chibi and he doesn't mind either.

If you need, go ahead and replace me, but I'd still like to give this a shot.

Yeah, I don't mind if we play the match sometime this week. Although, this is the first week of classes for me, so I don't know how busy I'll be, so it might have to be over the weekend.
 
JohnnyFoxDarko: You have 2 weeks to get your Week 1 & Week 2 match done. You are still expected to play Week 3 this upcoming week. If you cannot get one done (Week 1 or 2) within the next 2 weeks, you will use up a Bye. If you cannot get both done (Week 1 and Week 2) within the next 2 weeks, you will forfeit Week 1 and use a Bye for Week 2. I hope this all makes sense.

I'm sorry for being a schedule-Nazi but the co-hosts and I had to set strict schedule rules before the season began. Otherwise, some people might be in Week 6 and others might be in Week 2 and that's not fair to their opponents, the Smash Polls, and the Smash Records.

Also, here are some tips to help CAGs avoid missing their weekly match:
1. PM your opponent early in the week.
2. Specify times you are available and make sure to schedule backup days.
3. Test your Smash connection earlier during the day to make sure all is well.

Please PM your Week 2 Smash Polls to BlueLobstah before Wednesday 11:59 PM PST. He will post the new results by Thursday.

We would also like to see an increased participation in the voting process. Preseason had 12 voters and Week 1 only had 8 voters. There's 30 of us so let's aim to beat 12!

That time refers to today? Also, I think some people don't feel comfortable voting because they haven't played most of the people in this season to make an accurate judgment.

That's exactly the reason why I haven't submitted yet. I recognize some of you, but I only know maybe half of the players in the field, and not enough to give a fair ranking.

I typically play Kirby, but I gave Marth a shot... I think I'm probably best with Ike despite my love for Kirby. Your Kirby is very sexy though.

No frets lol, it's just that most of the time people get owned or own in 2-straight (for example...;)). I wish we could somehow have the competition more balanced...idk how that would work (rating each other separately might but I don't know how).

I'm going to have to watch (and rewatch) that lucas/falcon match...need to learn the tricks.

yukine hey let me know. my connect speed was posted back a while ago im not sure about yours, mine clocks in around 1700 kbps. im stoked for week 3 lets gooo.
