1st CAG SSBB Season - Week 14: Championship & 3rd Place Matches + Smash Bowls MIA?

Back from my trip trying to schedule with Foltzie before my next one.

Question though, if I can battle Buttle now would that give me my bye back, or is that not even allowed?

Alright, some news from me.

First, my internet is being very testy, so I haven't been on in a while. Sorry about that - I'll do what I need to do (Records) while it's working. Second, my dorm internet is very, very hard to get going with the Wii. I'll, of course, fiddle with the settings, but there is a slight chance I might have to drop out. Of course, I'd still help with Smash Records, but there it is.

I'm sad.

If it does start working, I'll get in touch with both foltzie and zitanix as soon as possible.

Its mostly due to me getting so much practice against top notch CAG's plus local tourneys.

That and I went in Guns-A-Blazin on Foo.
 
Joe, do you have an ethernet adapter for the Wii? I needed one when I was at college, and my connection was alright (given the campus wasn't on peak hours).

When I was in the dorms, they didn't allow routers. So I had to use the Nintendo Wifi USB thingy.

I didn't do it. I noticed Marc's Blue shirt so he must be blue in disguise.

I hope I don't get on that list. I might be so pressure that I start losing. I rather take someone rank. I hope it is Marc's.

Did Dallow really train with the Sith Lord Dr. Mario Kart? I just compiled my Top 3 lists and I noticed that he's never been in either CAG tourneys.

Week 2 has shaped up to be very interesting as well, with a very close battle for first between FallMoon and JoeB1223, with only a one point difference on our internal top secret scale between them! Two ties in effect with zitanix and suko_32 both in 5th place, and Daisydog and zerowing both in 9th place. While Daisydog's unfortunate record remains at 2 losses, her two week schedule with the two top ranked opponents have certainly helped her to remain in the single digits rankings even while unable to obtain a win thusfar.

Schedule Strength Preview

Midway through the season, schedule strengths will begin to take affect on the polls, and may help or hurt a player depending on how tough their opponents are. Here's a preview of up-to-now schedule strengths:

Toughest schedule so far:
zerowing (10-3)

zerowing has the most difficult schedule so far, with dallow and foltzie following very close behind. His 8 opponents combined have only suffered 3 losses so far, which may give zerowing a significant advantage in the rankings later on in the season.

Weakest schedule so far:
dyeknom (3-10)

dyeknom unfortunately is at the bottom of the list again with his opponents suffering 10 losses (!). Only 3 of his opponents are currently ranked, which leads me to believe he may have the weakest schedule on CAG, yet upsets may be in the future. Time will tell.

I voted for you Daisy ;) and Fallmoon. Chop and Ingwe got my votes too. I might be playing Suko today or tomorrow, I already accepted that I might not beat him but I want a couple practice rounds with someone else before I play him.
 
Dang, I haven't been around as much this week, and I forgot to vote. I will certainly make sure to do it next week.
