yeah, i hate make up calls. and that was was just terrible. roloson should have got diving...

speaking of diving, that call on pavelski was terrible, i cant imagine what the refs were watching at the time, its no wonder joe was so heated as they escorted him to the penalty box.

at least the sharks won, itd be terrible if the ensuing goal changed the game.

So this is the first time I've ventured into CAG off-topic...and I will be jumping in on this thread all the time now.

I've had Pens tix since I could afford them (01)...and just love hockey at all levels.

anyways...with regards to the current RBK reps, they are, indeed, shit. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for one. The real pisser is the kit on the reps, with their shitty lettering - the letter layers are fucking screened on to the twill, 'stitching' and all, then the single layer is sewn on the jersey.

I have about 36 jerseys...used to buy lots from dealers on eBay and split them up with my friends, until the knockoffs became overwhelmingly prevalent. I gotta dig up a pic from late last year - the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette blogger called one of my jerseys 'the best ever seen' in the igloo - my vintage oilers blue Tikkanen.

The Wings big problem is give a ways in their own zone. I've seen more of those this season than in the last 2 seasons combined. If that continues there is no way they will win the Cup. Yes they are scoring a TON of goals, but they are like 20th in the league for defense. Not good.

Oh and for cheap jerseys you can check here. Some guys at a Wings site bought them and have pleased. I've yet to order anything.

As for last night... if Van did their fucking job and won last night I would've agreed about the OT, but thank god the blues won. Nash and the Blues have to work their little arses off and keep those fucking mighty fucks out of the playoffs. I don't want those fucking in the playoffs or... if they do get it in then get the 8th spot to knock off the wings before losing themselves. sorry tc...

I don't have the cash to collect very many, or to get any of the top end stuff. I only collect Bruins jerseys, I try to target players without much hype who may break out (like Krejci), or solid veterans who have been here a long time like P.J. Axelsson (I've got one of his too).

My Krejci was only used in the preseason and training camp, it was cheaper up front but that limits its value too, not that I'd ever sell it. Still, its in the old style, has his old number (#76 instead of #46), and was from his first training camp with the Bruins, so its an interesting shirt.

I'm surprised more people don't get into them, you can get a half decent player's jersey for less than what an authentic costs now.
 
I have two Sharks Jerseys, one from when they first started and the other the "black armor". No #'s no extras, just the jersey. They aren't flimsy thin either. They were both given to me for Xmas (I think). All I need.

I'm too old for this collectors crap... I guess.

No not really, even if the wild all 5 of there remaining games which I highly doubt they will, doesn't look good for a playoff spot.

Yeah, those guys and Borntrade.com. a friend picked up a couple of NFL and NHL jerseys and said they are pretty close. I am really on the fence on knock off jerseys. I see some at the games that are just flat-out embarrassingly bad - wrong colors, shoulder patches facing the wrong way...etc.

This is my next jersey...

YouTube has HD now? Awesome. And Sean Avery is a bitch.

Kings looked great in a 6-1 win over Phoenix. Justin Williams actually played well, getting 1 goal and 2 assists en route to being named first star.
 
Yeah, Youtube has had HD for a while now.

Montoya got rocked, it's a shame since he did great against the Kings the other night.

Even though the Stars are out, they still managed to beat the Blues last night in OT, which hurts at this point in the season. I didn't watch the entire game, but I thought Matt Climie played well.

the sharks/ducks game last night got ugly in the last minute, the refs pretty much let everyone get away with anyone, our goalie got mangles, no call, pronger throwing cross checks no calls, and then the scrums started. our color commentator, drew remenda, was pretty heated at the refs saying that the refs and their anything goes attitude in the last minute has to go, because it could have been a lot worse, there could have been multiple injuries

This is the most Pathetic game of hockey I've ever seen... I don't mean to be a hypocrite but were talking Basketball/baseball/football bad where 5 min. left is more like 20 min. and squat happens.
 
The teams that have clinched and the teams that are out of it don't care anymore. There aren't that many teams still fighting for something.
 
well the game im going to thursday night should be extra exciting. if we win (or boston & detroit lose) we clinch the presidents. itll be a fun night in downtown san jose.

I lost them in my house but we're pretty sure they were accidentally thrown away.

My birthday is this month so we went all out for these seats. Only thing I can do is find a couple of single tickets and go sit in the seats I lost.
 
Damn. Do you have a receipt? I know at Staples the ushers always check your tickets to verify that you're in the right section and seat(s), and that would suck if you bought new tickets and got stopped from sitting in your original seats because of something like that.

im not sure how it is over there. but if you bought them from a season ticket owner (and im talking about sharks now, so not sure if your guy can do this) they can email the ticket to you as well. when they email the ticket the hard ticket becomes void and the email ticket the valid one. i would email the guy you bought the seats from asap.
 
Hawks let the Blue Jackets into the post-season. Oh well. Nice to see some fresh blood in the playoffs. Rick Nash will have his first taste of post-season glory.

I wish I could watch it on TV more. The Stanley Cup is easily the best trophy out there for Major sports. I am very excited for the Hawks this postseason.

Its the same way here, but no, I bought them off someone who bought them through Ticketmaster.

There is a procedure for lost tickets through Ticketmaster, but it requires the original purchaser to pick up the replacement tickets in person with the credit card used for the original purchase. Not possible.

I will either buy the cheapest seats possible through a scalper at the game and sit in the seats my old tickets were for, or stay home. The way I see it, not going costs me the price I paid for the tickets ($300), going costs me the price I'll pay for new tickets ($80 each?).

I really wish I hadn't lost them, this was for my birthday. I've got playoff tickets coming up but those seats suck, these seats were 6 rows from the ice.

I went to the game and it was "fan appreciation" night. What a waste of time.
 
Made it to the game, ended up finding a scalper asking for face value, and I sat in the seats I lost. Game of the year, I'll have a video later.
