I'm hoping for Green Bay to get back to winning ways, although I didn't mind Tampa winning last week, I like Gruden and the team, plus the victory probably was a small consolation for the kicker :/
im getting desperate for a win..

Who to lead the charge this week.. trent edwards or kyle orton
That's a good question, I'm faced with the same dilemma b/c Favre is on a bye and I can't trust Big Ben to do shit.

I think Trent Edwards is the safer play b/c he probably won't blow up but will give you a solid 15-25 pts. Orton is the higher risk/higher reward play. He could blow up against a very weak Detroit D but he could also go limp and only score like 10 pts or less.

I'd go with Orton. I believe that the Cardinals will not allow another QB throw the ball on them like Favre did last week. They actually have a great Secondary so I think Edwards will struggle. Anyone against that weak Detroit Secondary will look like a super star. I expect atleat 250 yards 3 TD's from Orton. He will shine tomorrow.

Is the Skins-Eagles game in HD for anyone? I just saw Joe Buck and Troy Aikman in HD before the game, yet the game is being broacast in SD. What's the deal with that?

Boo to you, Sam.

Nope, no weather alerts.

Is it on FOX? They cut the HD for the Packer game after the first or second drive.

LOL, I guess despite the fact that the Bears are dominating the Lions they're going to let Orton play the whole game? No mop up time for "Sexy" Rexy?

And there it is... The Texans have officially snatched defeat from the jaws of victory!

The Colts would have no wins if the Vikings hadn't settled for field goals and if the Texans hadn't given this game away to them...

Hustle by the defensive unit that was completely getting their asses handed to them and a great TD pass to take the lead and the win.

Yes but it was the bonehead plays by Rosenfelds that gave the Colts the opportunity to come back. If Sage has just slid instead of going airborne he probably wound not have fumbled and they could've run out the clock.

EDIT: Nice job Falcons beating the Pack! That puts the Bears all alone in first!

Who says Matt Cassel can't throw the ball deep?

The Pats offensive line has been really struggling these last few games, seems to be continuing today.
What the hell is happening to the Chargers?
They've been Norved. How that guy keeps getting head coaching jobs is beyond me. He must have some serious dirt on a bunch of owners.
The defense as well.
Yeah, their secondary is crap. Their pass rush isn't great, either. Cassel is the least of their problems right now.

I never liked Dean Pees, their D coordinator. Hopefully Romeo Crennel gets fired and he can come back.

Not to mention the pocket protection is awful as we just saw on that 3rd and 4 play.

Could be worse than Pees... it could be......... Brad Childress. :bomb:

I mentioned that, its been that bad all year.
Yes The Redskins Are MAJOR! Can we get some fucking respect now please!
Pssh, you should want to stay under the radar. Plus, how can the team pull the phony "no respect" card if the media is giving them attention

True but give us some credit we beat the Dallas Cowboys last week and im still hearing people say we arent a good team. The media is just starting to pay attention trust me:lol:

Duh..... dunno why I didn't see that. ;)

Pats ahead 17-14... lucky to be that but we'll take it.

Man, how the hell can someone be so stupid as deal cocaine or to father 9 children by 9 women? Damn. I guess he's in a game of "can you top this" with Shawn Kemp.
guyver you started Orton and not Edwards like I recommended right?
LOL I hope he did. My dumbass saying Edwards would be the "safe play". Someone snagged Orton before I could get him in my league so I was forced to start Edwards with Favre on a bye week. Needless to say I am getting slaughtered by 60!

I just got back home from the longest working weekend in my life. Time to catch up on what the hell happened today.

By the way...again, more prove that the Chargers are completely over rated.....LDT 32 yards? Pfft? Best RB of our time? I dont think so. Top 10 RB yes but best? Hell no.

I'm glad to see Denver actually keeping an offense out of the endzone for once. 4-1 and we're on our way to an AFC title if the rest of the division keeps playing like this.

finally.. got a win and it was decisive!!!

Very Nice. I'm glad you started Orton. He actually did a bit better then I expected him to do ;)

Finally... a small measure of revenge for my Steelers against the Jaguars... they looked like they tried handing that game to them a few times... on the road with a very depleted roster... not bad

I was getting a little annoyed with the refs near the end of that game, it's like they did everything possible to give the Jags every chance at winning. Stupid calls and not resetting the game clock just made me mad, and I was happy that the Steelers won.
