The Titans are decent.. but they have only played 2 or 3 teams with winning records... so while they are winning the games they should, they have an easy schedule, playing the AFC North and NFC North.. don't get me wrong though.. any team can win the SB this year...
Holy crap! Bironas did it! My kicker was able to outscore Reggie Wayne giving me the comeback win in my money FF league!
That's funny. As I watched Bironas kick all those field goals I thought, "Chitown must be a happy camper right now"

Kerry Collins >>>>>>>> Vince Young

I was not happy to see him leave the Giants when they drafted Eli. I mean Eli has worked out great and I wouldn't change anything in hindsight but I always thought Collins had 1 or 2 more good years in him with the Giants. He gets ZERO respect yet he's been to the Super Bowl, the Championship Game and now has the Titans off to a 7-0 start (well, 6-0 since he didn't play in Week 1). This is with 3 different teams - the guy has been successful almost everywhere he goes.

Mark my words, Vince Young is still the future of the Titans. Dont count him out yet. At some point, he will make a comeback.

Any given Sunday, Collins could get hurt (though I hope he doesn't).

The Raiders are horrible no matter who their QB is. Also, I don't think he quit on the Panthers - he went to rehab because he was an alcoholic if I remember correctly... VY is definitely the future of the Titans but he will be luck to have the career Collins has had.

Mark my words. Vince Young is a bust. 22TD's to 32 Int's in his career so far. Ryan Leaf stats those are.
Ryan Leaf was much worse... Young is not a bust..yet.. plus there are a ton of bad QBs in the league that are starting...
True. Young will be a bust though. He really hasn't done anything great in the NFL and I don't think he never will.
he made a mediocre team a playoff team.. but again that was 1 year.. who knows at this point..
66 QB rating, 12Td's 13 int's. Im not too sure if he was the reason they made the playoff's ;)

Young also rushed for 10 TDs too, so don't count that out.

believe it or not.. he was the reason.. they have (had) 0 receivers.. and no running game when he was starting...

Why are some Titans fans complaining about White getting the goalline carries? It's a working formula, the same thing Pittsburgh did with Bettis a couple years ago. Guess what? You play to win the game, not for fantasy stats.

Hell yeah! :D I was pissed at Favre though. In my "free" league he's my starting QB (how ironic that the auto-draft would give him to the Bears fan). I figured he'd have a monster game against the crappy Chiefs but he just kept throwing picks to them.

That's just it... I don't know that it's Titans fans as much as it's FF players that have Chris Johnson.

If vince young is anything, its luck. He might be a bit immature right now; however, the man just wins games. He has brought back the Titan's so many times in the past.

maybe Ryan Leaf stats, but the man still won his games in real life and that's all that matters (who gives a $hit about stats if he wins). 8-5 his rookie year. Offense Rookie of the Year his first year (only3rd quarterback ever) . Playoffs the 2nd year. He will be back.

Titan's fans aren't complaining. We dont care about fantasy stats.

If he does come back and play he still will have the same shitty stats and the Titans Defense will carry him to victory once again.
He's not winning anything though. Yes the TEAM is winning, not just Young.
why don't you like him as a QB??
He's not winning anything though. Yes the TEAM is winning, not just Young.
he's a big factor. it might not show up in stats, but he does something. There was a statistic in his first season that his overall QB rating sucks, but his 4th quarter QB rating is very high.

i became a believer after the 2006 Giants vs TN game when it was 21 -0 Giants in the 4th quarter... and then Vince Young came back as rookie and scored 24 unanswered points in 15 mins and won. It was the biggest comeback in franchise history.

This was not all defense... VY is a huge factor to closing the deal.

Look...for the rest of his career, he can go out and take a massive dump in the field for all i care...but as long as he closes the game and continues to pulls wins in the end... i won't care.

He's praised by many yet he has accomplished nothing in his career. I dunno how he even won RotY. Must have been some really really bad rookies that year.

It's not that I dislike like him. It's more that I think he is just not a good QB.

Oh good lord did I just hear that Orton went down and Grossman is now in at QB for the Bears? NNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Go Titans, lets see if they can win against the packers
I can't believe we lost...played so well in the second half and only came away with 6 points.
I can't believe we lost...played so well in the second half and only came away with 6 points.
yeah, packers really did up the game, but only getting field goals hurts. it was a close, hard game. Titans 8-0 though:mrgreen:

I can't believe the Packers lost either. Their defense just gave away way too many yards on the last possessions, the Packers just blew a lot of chances.

I'm glad the Jets won though, I was actually impressed at how they handled the Bills in the second half and their ability to play through pressure, it's the second week in a row where Favre throws a pick for an INT return for a TD and they come back to drive the ball down the field and pick up points. They can't survive indefinitely like that but I'm impressed nevertheless :p

As the only legit Titans fan here I am going to continue to ignore all the Titans hate.

I do have this to say.

fuck you hater undefeated baby!

fuck you hater undefeated baby!
I don't think it's hate (well, maybe for VY). It's more the whole "win a championship" to prove themselves. It's just how it works. Look at all the crap Eli had to endure until he won one. Plus fans just like to bitch when it's not their team winning. They look for the next level another team can attain and add that to their, "yeah, but have they done this" argument.

All you can do as a Titans fan is enjoy the ride and not listen to what other people think about your team (and hope it carries into the playoffs).

And I didnt play them today.......

I did play Matt Forte and Chris Johnson so I didnt do to bad. But I also played Kyle Orton
(Drew Brees on bye) so I am kinda hurting.

I'm not a Titans fan, but I respect any organization that has long term coaches and actually lets the coach do their job. If Jerry Jones owned the Titans, Jeff Fisher would have had no chance to bench Vince Young.

You know...I was reading this and agreeing, shaking my head and smiling until I saw.......Go Colts.

I'm down with the Titans winning all of the games except next week... The only problem is if Rex the wonder dog Grossman has to start next week Tennessee will have an easy win. He's good for about 4 turnovers per game on the average.
You know...I was reading this and agreeing, shaking my head and smiling until I saw.......Go Colts.

Woooomp Wooomp Woooooooooooomp.
Just because I support the Colts doesn't make what I said any less valid. Hell if your hate for Manning wasn't so blinding, you'd realize that. There wasn't much, if any, bit of fanatiscism in what I said. That's pretty much all you can do, 'cause no matter what, someone's gonna find a way to shit on your team, perfect start or not.

Edit: That might sound confrontational, but I'm not trying to be btw, Soodmeg. I thought you had stated previously that you do, in fact, hate Manning.
I think Rex is going to lead the Bears to a win over the Titans. Really, I do. You heard it here first folks!

Edit: Eagles own you.
We'll see. I really hope you're right. For us to win our defense has to shut down the Titans running game and we'll need a huge day from Forte. really want the Eagles to win from here on out (mainly b/c I have McNabb as my fantasy QB). :D
As a Redskins fan, I take great delight in the woes of the Cowboys. :D

Yay Brooks Bollinger!
I think EVERYBODY takes great delight in the woes of the Cowboys.
Other good news:
VIKINGS WIN!
Call me fucking insane, but I'm starting not to hate Brad Childress. He's doing something write. Right now I'm at the "Moderate Hate" state, which is the highest I've ever been. If we beat the Packers next week, it'll become "Strong Dislike". THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.

Other awesome news: I'm 10-2 in pick'em this week (11-2 if Indy wins) and I can win 30 bucks in my pool this week :)
