Raptors beat the Sixers despite Iggy's and Holliday's outbursts, so the Bulls are 2 back.
The eighth seed is getting swept, doesn't matter if it's Toronto or Chicago. They should just shelve Noah, Gibson and Deng for the season and let them recover for next year. Not signing Amare would be a smart move, too; they need low post offense, but not at the expense of rebounding and defense.
Honestly I know that the best they'd do in 8th is a 4-1 exit. But their target is Bosh this offseason, and I think they need to be able to say "we've been in the Playoffs 5 of the last 6 years, and have Rose and Noah, and are a top 3 market in the NBA and a 30 year sellout streak" to compete with Miami in the free agent market. I really don't understand why ESPN thinks free agents will have a boner for New York. But Miami has Wade, girls in bikinis and extremley small shorts, beach, weather, top 5 market, the fact that shaq played there and they still have some extra "fans" from left over from that, etc.
