2nd CAG SSBB Tournament!!! - Currently: FINAL MATCH - JMG!!! vs Peachachu

Should I host? I had the second fastest speed I think.

Good games Fish and Zero. Fish your Luigi is slippery. Also, sorry if I turned into spamer that second match. I calmed down after that one. Final Destination is a horrible place for a team tournament, Lylat would have been a lot better.
 
After all that commotion, Joe's Mad Goo!!! comes out the victors! Although, Calcium Fortified Apple Juice did take a (very close) game from us!

Okay, my favorite moments were as follows:
1) When I caught both Fish and Wing in my Forward Smash, killing them both.
2) When me and my five friends in the room were screaming for Mad D to take the second game, but he just barely lost.

And now, obligatory smack talk. You guys lose more Smash than Subway Jared lost weight. You guys are so bad, you make Dr. Evil look nice (forget that he converts at the end). You guys die so much, you make people think the plague is coming back.

Okay, I'm done. :)

Are we allowed to borrow stock in this tournament? Should've took it Joe, even tough I was at like 60%. Your Dedede could've done more damage swinging that big hammer, I wouldn't have minded. (Just something to keep in mind if there is ever another team tournament).

I think Evergoo is taking over for me from here. Go get'em Goo.

First match was 6-4, second was 5-6, and third was 6-4. So, close games overall. I should have warmed up more, though. ;) Hadn't played since Monday.

Don't remember the other team's individual score (kills) but it went something like this for us

Round 1 Mad D (5) Joe (1) :: Calcium..Juice (4)
Struck the JMG pose at the end!
6::4

Round 2 Mad D (3) Joe (2) :: Cal... Juice (6), I lost (choked) at the end via Fish. This is the match were they got Joe first and I was left with Fish who had 2 stock left and Wing who had one.
5::6

Round 3 Mad D (2) Joe (4) Joe :: Cal... Juice (4) Joe came back on this one, got his double kill taking some pressure off.

I am pleased to announce that DASboot and Operation: Impending Doom shall have their brawl in roughly one hour's time.

Projected teams are:

Red - DASboot, Strell and AmigoOne
Blue - O:ID, antlp89 and Stealthninjascyther
 
Ok this is bad.

My Wii cannot get online at all. It doesn't see my usual wireless network. I have a router and two computers - one is supposed to be on the same wireless network as the Wii. But it can't see it either, so I'm posting from it by leeching off another network near me. I tried doing the same with the Wii - it sees it, it seems to connect, but then the connection test fails to Wifi.

This is bad. I've been trying to get it work for the last hour - reset all settings, upgraded firmware, everything. It's like the router is not broadcasting a signal at all, even though the little WLAN light is on and green.
 
Antlp89 said he couldn't make it this round but juvo said he could make it, but I haven't heard back from him yet...

I don't see AmigoOne online either...

I guess this match just doesn't want to happen.

Okay, so, as deadline approaches, I notice that three matches have gone uncompleted. If you guys could just post your progress on their completion (ie Wi-fi problems - sorry Strell, expected day), then I'd gladly issue an extension.

However, I have the feeling that the other two loser's bracket matches aren't going to happen, as people have so sillily (that's a word) assumed that this is a single elimination tournament.

So sillilly have they done so.

Alright, Round Three starts now!
So, first off, the winner's bracket has a bye week, as we need to play a little catch-up in the loser's bracket. :) SHOW US YOUR MOVES can avoid humiliation for another week. ;)

Second, three of the four matches in Round Three are not yet determined. I PM'd the two matches that didn't seem to even have been attempted. As for the match involving DASboot and the Operation, I'm assuming you guys are in contact and are trying to work things out. Try to get done by Wednesday, if you could. If Strell continues to have problems, perhaps Amigo and Drnick could play, or Strell might play on a friend's Wii.

Also, I'm posting this only because it happened to me. If you have not yet unlocked the 'Additional Rules' option, then you cannot follow the rules correctly. Thus, you may not host. If you have blazing numbers, try to unlock it for the heightened enjoyment of all. ;)

Yeah I realized that too so just now I set up a match with Donkey Kong and 3 Jiggly Puffs at 300% handicap and 2.0 damage ratio in a 99 stock match. Spam-ed down B mostly and unlocked the more rules option at the end.

Summer fishing and camping has pretty much gotten rid of the excitement of Brawl for me.
