Both the regular and zombrex had that DLC from Best Buy. That was Best Buy's promo. GameStop had the Ninja pack and Amazon had avatar DLC.

I just really want to know what genuinely compels posting game deals on SD so I can understand the psyche.

Anyone posting on SD knows the majority of scavengers...err members are not there for great deals on video games to play as a gamer. If they were concerned with SD gamers missing out why not post it in the gaming section where the "gamers" are more apt to see it. I mean, the gamers aren't going to see it as the "deals" over there can go three pages deep in mere seconds after refreshing.

So please tell me, what genuinely propels any CAG to post a deal on SD?

Well I'm not here to make money, honestly if I had the money I would have bought it for my collection but, since I rented it and didn't like it I would have kept it sealed and just traded it for a game that was the same value as that game but not as a deal. I'm not making money on CAG nor have I ever, I've posted dozens of deals myself that I never even bought or planned to buy just to help others out. In the same respect, if I can buy a good game cheap, and get myself a good game that isn't as cheap I will do it. So I don't really care where I fall in the social or evolutionary ladder of CAG viewers.

I wondered the same thing so I took at a look at eBay and it looks like they might be, at least for now. One auction sold for $24.99 and it was just the pen, notepad, bandage, brochure, info sheet, and the original box (not the steel case). That might have been a fluke though. Nevertheless, I would imagine someone out there would want it since the TIV for the game won't matter it being a CE edition or not.

If the PS3 version was $29.99, I would have bought it and I'm not even that interested in this game.

As for the flippers/hoarders, what I don't understand is why people feel the need to tell everyone that they're flipping/hoarding. You aren't required to post when you take advantage of a deal. Keep it to yourself.
 
Hey guys I haven't ordered from Amazon in a while so, can anyone tell me how long they take to charge my card? Because I have a charge thats due tomorrow from Red Box and its going to put me under the amount I have in my debit to pay for this so.... yeah, any clue? I just placed the order now.

It's not a sense of entitlement. It's a sense of this is a good community (sometimes) and SD is a shithole. By releasing these deals into that cesspool, you make it less likely that a CAG will be able to snag the game at a cheap price. Meanwhile, all the assholes on SD can buy them up and return fraud them to walmart for $79.99. :roll:

That entire post is a great example of what I'm referring to. Why does it matter if a CAG gets or if someone on SD gets it.

I think this is a great deal for either version.

Although I'm bummed that there is a significant price discrepancy between the 2 platforms, it is a great package at this price. The game itself is very enjoyable and will warrant multiple plays. There are multiple endings, lots of weapons, and good times. The online component ain't much and serves as a minor distraction really. You can play the online modes to make money for the SP campaign though.

I got this day 1, and have been happy with it since.

I think the in stock items with 2 day prime charge in 5-20 mins after the order is done. They get it ready for the next shipment going out so it gets charged right away with faster shipping method. It lets you go and cancel a order for those so many mins after a order then it charges and processes it for shipping on the next wave. So expect to get charged that day if you picked a item instock and 2 day prime shipping or even the lower free shipping one sends out fast depending on inventory.

Thanks for the re-assurance, but I thought smart and quick. So what I did was I bought a $32 GC from Amazon, and had it sent to my e-mail. Canceled the order I made with my card, and placed a new order with the GC =D
 
Awesome find OP. Ordered one.

Figure the lowest DR2 will go for a while is 20, and that'll probably be for the plain vanilla version. So for me, $30 CE is a go!

Hopefully I get into this more than the original. Had borrowed a buddy's copy of DR and just remember messing around in the world instead of trying to progress thru the story
 
if I didn't care for the first dead rising what's the chances I will like hte full game of this? I played case zero (the demo) and loved the combining weapons crazyness but I'm afraid that will wear off after a while and I won't like the actual game itself.

I played co-op through the entire game with my brother. One problem with the co-op is that whenever someone saves the game it will kick the player that isn't the host out of the game. It has been more than a month since I played so maybe it has been patched.

Picked one up. I wasn't really ever planning on getting this (the 1st one didn't really appeal to me) but for 30 bucks and co-op? Very nice find!

Was contemplating the deal for like the last 40 mins and think I'm gonna pass. Never could get into the first DR. Even though this one is 'improved' still not a game for me. Killer deal though for those that are interested. This did make SD and looks like Metroid Other M is $20 as well.
 
So the trade in slip from amazon. I want to send it through USPS and the slip I printed says to put this on the front of the package and no necessary postage is necessary but it doesn't look like a normal USPS mailing slip should I make my own mailing slip through paypal?

No the slips from Amazon work fine, I have used them for textbooks and dvds. Check and make sure it is a UPS label and not a USPS.

Hmmm....I see that everyone who bought the SE during the cyber monday deal last week is upset with this one, but I gotta ask is the CE of this game really even that great? It looks like you get a few cards and a movie that I'm sure is cool and all but it looks a total space eater. I place my games on a shelf and the SE fits perfectly along with all my other games I bought the CE of Halo 3 when it came out and I got this giant clumsy metal case that doesn't fit right and nowhere to really put it, but that's just me..figure I'd give a little food for thought on it!

It has a steelbook too if you want to throw the box away. Personally I'm a big DR fan, but I didn't get the CE because it was $45 when I got the regular for about $35. Now that I can buy this one for $30, I'll have those extras and even on ebay if I can get back $25 or so a $5 upgrade isn't bad. Personally I'd rather have the $30 in my pocket than $30 amazon credit, even though I'd find something to use it on right away.

Biggest problem with SlickDeals isn't flippers IMO, it's the sad human beings so many of those members are. So many (seems like most though) will do anything (harrass customer service, taking advantage of obvious glitches, faking student emails for free Amazon Prime and so much more) to save money, and will belittle those with morals.

CAG is a true community with decent folks.
