Curiosity, mostly, since I actually do transfer Pokémon from my Gen VI games to Bank and back regularly. Also curious to know if you can upload a Pokémon from one Gen 1 game to another Gen 1 game, mostly for Pokedex purposes.

I bought all 3 (well I got 2 for free because my 3DS died at the same time the new 3DS popped up), I booted up Yellow and my nostalgia trip ended after 5 minutes of dealing with the "old" ways of doing things in the game.

I think it has resolved me to not go back for nostalgia. It'll just irritate me.

If the Gravity Falls game was about... $10 cheaper, I'd jump on it, unless someone can tell me it's actually a good game worth paying $20 for.

 
I'm obligated to mention that if you're into XCOM or Fire Emblem, Ghost Recon Shadow Wars is a strategy game in that vein and the lead for that game was the creator of XCOM, so it's a really good game.

I will second that. It was my favorite game for the first year or so that the 3DS was out. Unbelievably underrated at launch.

 
Got three badge plays today, so I finally got Charmander and Charizard.

Really easy to get a big practice haul today; start by going directly over the badge on the top right, and there's a good chance that all but one of them will fall. Repeat once it refills.
 
Yeah, Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is really great. The only thing that would've made it better was if it had the G.I.Joe license given your team is clearly inspired by Hasbro's characters.

No faux Cobra though, unfortunately.

 
Etrian Odyssey V was just officially anounced (in Japan). I except that we'll get it here, along with sales for it every other week.

Also, I think I'll have to look into Shadow Wars. It'd probably would have sold better if they went with the G.I. Joe angle. Nintendo gamers usually turn their noses at the whole super-serious soldier games.

If you are having trouble with getting them while using plays, then I think the trick is rather than trying to pick them up, you hit them off center with the claw to roll them. Here is a video with a similar machine that should still apply:

The relevant machine starts at 6:00, but after 6:30 shows what I was talking about better. If your aim is off, then it could take longer to roll properly; I've had it happen to me with similar setups.

Thanks for this. I got two free plays today and I was finally able to get the stupid Swapnote eShop launcher badge by basically copying the guy in this video.

It's assumed to be YW2. The folder leak only says the franchise title, so it's a bit unknown, but not much else it could be.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the leak was specifically for the European Nintendo Direct. North America may not neccessarily get any of this stuff, especially the SNES on the eShop.

 
So they're skipping MonHun X?

I'm sure it would be to much to hope that if we get SNES (or even GBA) eShop titles that it would be to much to hope for to have them cross buy with the Wii U.
 
The upgraded specs were already a reason for me to upgrade. Indeed, I planned to get a New 3DS the moment it was announced. The only reason I haven't is out of protest for Nintendo of America playing its customers for fools with the launch of the standard.
 
SNES uh? Sorry "N", but your about 10 years to late. I would love some 3D classic SNES games(Star Fox & Super Punch out at the top of the list), but just to get normal washed out versions for way to much money I'm sure, "No Thank You"!

I liked it, but as some people have said, it's not for everyone. It's basically a turn based rpg with the map drawing elements of the Etrian Odyssey series. There is no big emotional story really, just the gameplay. If that sounds like your kind of game, try the demo.

Direct news:

- Mario & Sonic Olympics comes out March 18th.

- Mario & Donkey Kong amiibo Challenge available early March 25th with any amiibo, but free digitally.

- SNES on New 3DS eShop. Includes Pixel Perfect mode. Starts with Pilotwings, Super Mario World, and F-Zero now. March 24th gets Super Mario Kart, Earthbound, and DKC 1. April 14th gets Link to the Past, Super Metroid, and DKC 2.

- Pocket Card Jockey allows you to play solitaire to win horse races. From GameFreak.

- Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 is coming out in Summer.

- Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation comes out 3/10 and 2 DLC maps are available after Direct.

- Hyrule Warriors Legends Season Pass coming out. Includes 4 DLC packs and Ganondorf costume. Physical copies get a 3DS Theme. Pre-order at GameStop and get an artbook. Medli will also be playable and released at the same time as DLC Pack 1. No word on DLC for Wii U version outside of the characters.

- Disney Art Academy coming May 13th.

- Bravely Default 2 comes out April 15th. 10 Hour Demo comes out March 10th, GCU Members get early access to the demo on March 7th. Art book also available.

- Dragon Quest 7 is coming out later this year.

- Monster Hunter Generations (Monster Hunter X) coming Summer 2016. If you have MH4 Ultimate save data, you get extra bonuses. Also includes Marth costume.

- Everybody's favorite Metroid game still exists. Focus on online multiplayer (similar to Tri Force Heroes). Will focus on Federation vs. Space Pirates. Samus appears but is not playable. Will have different classes like an RPG and can customize power suit to different classes. Game is released in late Spring.

- Rhythm Heaven Mega Mix coming later this year.

- Kirby Planet Robobot coming soon. New Copy Ability is Doctor. Gets a Kirby Mecha that also has Copy Abilities. Also has multiplayer game called Kirby Team Clash which is a beat-em up. Can use CPU titles and Download Play. All amiibo are compatible and get Copy Powers. New Kirby series amiibo line, with new Kirby, Meta Knight, and King Dedede sculpts and including Waddle Dee. Kirby will grant the exclusive UFO ability in-game.

Looks like the loyalty program part of the My Nintendo account will be launching this month.

SNES VC games coming to New Nintendo 3DS. The first three games are going to be available after the show.

WOW, that's damn cool. EU may get something similar, but since our SNES was god awful design wise we'll never see this. Maybe Play-Asia may get an Asian US version, but I won't hold my breath.
