F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

Bought one for some reason.  I should probably cancel it =\

Also wonderful to see amazon is now charging tax for me.  Guess I'll just start price matching at target or BB after I burn through the last 700 of credit.

I ordered one for a Christmas present since I can't really flip them and have no games left. Now I need to find some cheap storage for it. :p

aren't those models prone to rrod
I had one early model and a Jasper one and only reason I replaced the first one was a failed update bricked it. Yeah they are but if they haven't at this point it's unlikely they will. Unless you get one someone managed to get working long enough for AWD to accept.

yep, but with amazons sketchy grading, you never know. because i remember researching about the xbox 360 console, before settling on going with the ps3. the jasper model of the arcade xbox 360 tend to be the least-prone to rrod

The Jasper ones have it but the original ones don't. There is an HDMI cable you can get for them though if it's still available.
is it easy to tell if it is jasper one?

EDit; is it just me, or does the new xbox 360 e models looks a bit like the xbone? lol

Well, alright then. Order cancelled. :)
You didn't have to cancel on my account (if you had other plans for it). I just had 100% failure rate with mine and that is based upon 3 of them of the same said model back in the day before the silms arrived. I just don't trust them. Plus, I already ordered that $25 360 before so there wasn't a need for me to get this one let alone another one if any pop up.

not even a limited edition xbox 360?

the good condition metal gear rising rev limited edition scares me, even though it is probably a dinger, because of the horror stories of the fragile glass lamp. LOL

especially since i get cut easily, even a sharp piece of paper cut me a few times.
I got mine packed nicely and snug and probably why it survived. The lamp itself had 3 foam inserts within its own box to keep it from moving / shaking so it was well protected from normal bumps and bruising. However, it wouldn't save the packaging from sudden impacts and or falls so depends how bad of a dinger one is.

P.S. Wear protection before opening the box as a precaution if you take the plunge, just to be safe.

Edit: amazon dropped the assasin creed 4 limited edition to $109.99

I skipped the whole lineup of those 360s thereafter so I don't have a clue how the limited editions fared. I heard the Resident Evil ones had high failure rate as well. Eldritch I remember you talking about it back when you worked at Best Buy (I think) how bad the failure rate was on the pre Jasper consoles. Any insights?

Why? You were going to flip it right? So if it is working, as it should since Amazon is selling it as a working device, then why care of the longevity of the item?
The highlighted part is what concerned me--when I'm getting disc-only copies of a bundle (i.e., without noted accessories) accepted at Acceptable value, I have to wonder if a traded-in 360 like that one might not have been tested thoroughly to check for RRoD.

Eh, it wouldn't have been a very big profit, so I don't mind missing out. I'm also super-paranoid when it comes to stuff like this, and like I said above, I'm wary that the console might not have been fully tested.

well, atleast with amazon you can still return it. i would never buy a used console outside of amazons, because of their.generous return policy, no matter how cheap it might be, unless it is free, or $10 or less.

I bought one of those Arcade bundles from Target when they had the $50 Giftcard on them that came with Viva Pinata and Banjo/Kazooie.  Knock on wood, it's still running.  Manufactured in 2010.

did you get the jasper one? because the over opinions i found over the internet is the jasper one tends to better/least-prone to rrod.

I don't think so but then again some people are fond of sticking theirs hands into bag o glass.

I could definitely be bad but it was one of those weird things where people seemed o either go through 3-7 of them or have theirs work perfectly. Then there were random models (like the red RE5 console) that just seemed to die like crazy.
