Synn...ha! I've had too many "womanly" (to be poltically correct) fruitbats try to pick me up at the goth club I used to frequent. Good thing I'm a happily married man now.

Raw was ok. I'm glad I started watching late, so I ff'd through the entire HHH promo.

Who blasted Tomko that he had a black eye and stiches? I want to give them $10.

The young girl in the crowd was awfully elated that Stacy Kiebler got RKO'ed. It killed the segment, but that's funny.

They really want to make Batista a big deal if they're willing to have Kane lay down for him. It's important, though, seeing as how he's the dude going into WM.

"Used car salesman"? Who, for the love of god, writes this shit?

You know, if I was a wrestler released by the WWE in the past 2-3 years, after being told that "creative has nothing for you to do," and I saw Gene Snitsky on TV for several months straight...I'd hang myself.

Ditto for Tomko. It goes to show that if you eat nothing but skinless chicken breasts and steamed veggies (mmm...), workout and use anabolic steroids, you're WWE bound. Wrestling knowledge be damned.

$3 sez the tag champs don't even make the Pre-Wrestlemania Heat.

I don't feel I hit the nail on the head too well in terms of predictions. Oh well.

myke.

I was, however, correct about Snitsky having more acne. He was in an f'n *background shot* and you could still see something roughly the size of an inflammed spider bite on his cheek.

myke.
...Someone should send him to Superstar Bill Graham for advice, since he'll need a liver in 15 years.

Proactive (sp) should try to get Snitsky to be their new spokesperson. If their product will work for him, then it'll work for anyone.

The "Used Car Salesman" line could've been a nod to many possible things, it wasn't a line someone just came up with. Bischoff has been called "Used Car Salesman" in the past.
Was it just me or did trish look really really good tonight?
She always looks good, even when sporting the black eye.

I laughed the hardest when Snitsky looked at the thing that fell and said "That wasn't my fault."
lol yeah, I loved that one.. I loved Michael Cole in there too, the suit was bigger than him!
I loved the way Carlito said it. I can't wait for him to heal up.
lol.. I don't watch Smackdown, but I loved when they asked him to spit out the apple and he goes "That's not cool!"

Keep checking!
I loved the ones with the Big Show ripping the jacket and the microphone falling and hitting him. A lot of them were just funny as hell, WWE has done a good job with these commercial leading up to WM21.

Sigh...two weeks until WM, and the board's talking about a commercial.

'twas funny, though.

Apparently, word has leaked that there will be one more commercial, on the night of WM, featuring Steve Austin in a parody of Gladiator. From the description, it sounds like they'll be parodying the soliloquy before the battle scene in the beginning of the movie.

myke.
...a bit too much like the "Braveheart" parody if it's true.

Late Saturday night (March 19), WWE SmackDown Superstar Shannon Moore was involved in a head-on collision with a fairly high ranking sergeant in the US Army near Fort Bragg.

A resident of Whispering Pines, NC, Moore was returning home from meeting with friends from the WWE RAW roster following their show at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, NC. Moore was driving his Hummer and was hit head-on by the soldier, who was arrested for drunken driving.

Moore was being followed home by fellow WWE Superstar Matt Hardy, who lives nearby. Hardy had been in the lead, but Moore had passed him when the accident happen. Had Hardy been hit instead of Moore, he could well have been killed as he was driving a Corvette.

It's been reported elsewhere that Moore will miss some ring time, but got away very lucky as he suffered only a concussion and a possible minor neck injury.

damn... 2 of my favorite wrestlers (Hell, I go by the name "Matt Young version 1" at a couple wrestling boards) almost died. That's scary shit. I hope Shannon recovers soon.

I wish they'd move the Hurricane and Shannon Moore to the same show and turn them back into a tag team, as I think they'd get over better that way.

So who is least likely to get a WM match...

Hassan, Snitsky or Tajiri & Regal?

Hmm. interesting, WWE has contacted Sherri Martel asking to do a few shows, this has to have something to do with the HBK angle that Kurt Angle's doing right now.

As for the WM commercial, the Snitsky "it wasn't my fault" part of the commercial was my favorite. Anyone notice that Tazz was in there?

And notice that neither of the Tag Titles have a match at WM yet? It's still sad that the IC title has been defended at a WM since X8, apparently that's the bastard title of the WWE right now.

Well, Sherri helped make Shawn Shawn. She was an excellent manager when in the WWF (I don't know if the same can be said of...*cough*..."Sister Sherri"). I wonder how awful she's looking these days?

Backlash poster ? seems to early. Its gettin me excited dough

Random thoughts...

Chris Masters just seems like another muscle-bound, untrained idiot who ends up hurting people since he doesn't know how to work. He can't disappear fast enough.

What are your favorites of the Wrestlemania trailers? I love Ric Flair (and Ric Flair only) in Braveheart. I always like Eugene. Dirty Harry was OK but I loved see Undertaker in a tie and sweater vest.

Just a little spoiler for Smackdown, seems Sherri Martel is part of the Angle/HBK story, since she shows up this week.

Also I can't find it, but many online are saying that WWE is sending Version 1 back to Smackdown. :? Good way to kill what he never got a chance to do on Raw.

Here's something I know people will like, WWE.com updated the babe of the year section with easter photos, but this has got to be the weirdest theme they've done so far. Here's a link:

The usually do very professional photograhy. This shit looks like it was done at Glamour Shots. Tre' tacky.

Who sez they're sending V1 to Smackdown? You mean I'll have to watch again? I guess that's good.

myke.

Looks like we won't have to see Orton after WM, according to the news sites, he going to be having surgery on his shoulder(isn't that what he injured in '02, when we had to put up with those crappy bits of him telling his progress and a email address for get well cards?). So he's being pulled from any card after WM.

So this makes me wonder if they're going to let Taker win the match at WM cause of this, cause it would kill any heat Orton's getting if he won the match, since people would forget by the time he comes back.

The 9 month anniversary of JBL's title reign is coming up soon; he's (according to others) the longest reigning champ since Diesel (in 1996 or so).

Funny thing, the WWF was the drizzling shits when Diesel was the champ too.

I suppose it beats hotshotting the belt onto a dozen guys (like WCW would have done), but it sure makes for tv I don't like.

I usually get excited for WM... but, this years looks so bleh.

Kurt is gonna job to Shawn... and that's the only match I care about.

Orton vs. Taker is rather interesting also... since I think they're giving Orton the win, and watching the backlash from the fans seeing Orton continue getting his undeserved push... especially by gett one of the last true meaningful wins in WWE (ending Taker's undefeated streak at WM).

Even though Randy is a rather boring wrestler, who's only good at selling... and is a horrible speaker. He's so cute. So, I'm cool with it.

The main events are so weak.

HHH vs. Whoever... does it really matter? HHH will be the center of attention anyway.

Bradshaw. No. I still don't care after 9 months.

Glad some of us are on the same page about JBL (I'm looking at you, MA4L, since I *know* you still read this).

You really think Shawn will go over Kurt? From what I understand, Kurt's become quite the backstage politician. I don't think it's a guarantee that he's gonna do the job. Besides, remember what a fantastic match Michaels had with Jericho (Jericho? Who's he?) at WMXIX? The outcome didn't matter, the match was excellent.

I'm hesitant to say that Randy Orton is an excellent wrestler. Do I like him? Nah. Does he put everything into what he does? If you don't think so, watch him the next time he lays a headlock on someone (a "rest hold" if you will). He has a ring awareness that is outstanding. I think being put out of Evolution really, *really* killed him.

HBKurt was fantastic. Hell, even my wife (who *fucking hates* wrestling) was laughing at him. The scene where he's dancing down the aisle, and shimmies while looking at the camera like he's been caught by accident was phenomenal.

myke.
hbkurt was amazing!!!!
Guyver, you're always good for a screencap; any chance I can request one of HBKurt, when he's walking down the aisle, Sherri has come out also, and he's on the far right side of the camera shot, shakin' his booty like a foolio.

If so, awesome. If not, thanks though.

Shawn is quite the politican himself, though. ;)

But this week's happenings have further cemented my belief that Shawn will win.

Raw and Smackdown have to split the cross-brand matches. With Orton rumored to have shoulder surgery after Mania... plus with him not fully turning heel yet... I'm pretty sure we'll see Orton hit the RKO, come close to winning, but Taker wins... and Orton goes nuts, or fakes some amnesia, or something.

Plus, Kurt has been quite cocky lately. He usually loses when that occurs. And yes, HBKurt was so funny. It sometimes annoys me how Kurt is booked as a goofball most of the time... but, Kurt is such a naturally funny guy with his facial reactions, and with all his actions, that you just can't waste that. And then he's very boring when we have to take him seriously. No middle ground... lol.

It's not that I don't like JBL... he's made the most with his opportunity, is a much better talker than I ever thought he was, and even his matches with Eddie were pretty good. But... it's Bradshaw. He just should NEVER be a World Champ. When I watch him, he screams US Champ to me. And if Bradshaw was US Champ... everyone, even smarks, would be loving Bradshaw to death.
Sweet! I have this PPV somewhere on VHS behind me. Thanks!
You're welcome, I'll post some more vids up if I can find some good ones. We should maybe make a wrestling vid topic.

Jimmie you've had some interesting posts... but that one is by far my favorite...

anyway, anyone else think that Taker is gonna bury Orton, regardless of all the build up and what not that suggests Orton has a shot at ending the Deadman's undefeated streak.

That's one thing that they need to keep is Taker's WM winning streak, that way he leaves some kind of legacy behind. Cause if you look back at his career, they treated him a little bit bad compared to most of their big superstars they've had. Most of them had more title reigns than he's had(heck, Triple H won the title more times than Taker did, even before hooking up with vince's daughter). So they could at least leave something intact.

For a woman pushing 50, Sherri looked all right. At least, they didn't mess her up with horrible makeup as bad as they used to. When they sang the theme song and she did the intro and chorus, though, that was excellent. Yet terrible. But more excellent.

I don't know if I agree that the shows have to split victories; that's not good logic to use when approaching a PPV, because it makes too much sense. I've mistakenly used similar logic in the past, saying that one title changing hands on a PPV means that the world title won't (when it does). I don't see what Shawn gets out of it. Other than WMXIV, has that $$$$er ever lost a WM match?

"It's Bradshaw" is sobering and logical. I hope that V1 ends up on SD so I can watch it and feel less guilty (Rather than not watch it at all).

myke.
...shame I won't be watching WM this year, since I'll be preparing for my presentation (and the traditional opening day slaughtering of the Cubs, eh RawisJericho?)

 I can't get over his face!

Kurt can marry Vince and double Ric Flair's number of title reigns for all I care. He is the man. Things like this are precisely the difference between a guy like him and a guy like HHH. Kurt is so entertaining, and the most interesting thing about HHH is his $$$$ing retarded beard.

What did HBK do on Raw last week to further the feud? Wrestle Rob Conway? Man, he has less credibility (in the fan's eyes) than people like The Hurricane do.

What's he going to do this week? Oh, that's right: wrestle Muhammad Hassan. 6 days before 'Mania, what in the world is being done on Raw to help this feud? It's all Kurt Angle, man. HBK's riding cruise control into the PPV of the year; that's an indication of how awesome Angle is: he diminishes that impact that HBK's indifference to their match would have with anybody else. It's really the only major match I'd want to watch this year, and one half of the contestants isn't really doing squat. Granted, the psyche of the match revolves around Angle's need to "prove himself" (which I think is more of a shoot that we really realize), so he has to make the effort, yes. But you might as well show HBK playing GBA this week, since it's just as relevant to the WM match as Hassan is.

myke.

I never saw the HBKurt.. don't watch Smackdown.. but I laughed out loud at "I'm just a sexy Kurt/I'll make your ankle hurt"
