Color me surprised if Snitsky has never had to pay for sex.

Jeez the only thing that popped into my mind when reading that was him blowing his load before even starting then saying "it wasn't my fault".
Were they really pushing fucking Snitsky on ECW?

SNITSKY????

The first time I turned ECW on since the first episode, I see a Snitsky promo package, I roll my eyes, I see him kill some chump in 10 seconds, and I turned it off.

Just sad.

Not to mention he looked like Kane's retarded brother.
I love you, well not really but you're absolutely right. Exactly what I would have said.

So, I've been in a training course for work the past few weeks, and today I was nearly bored to tears, so I decided to start writing up ideas for wrestlers after WM23. Taking the wrestling-geek in me to the extreme, I know, but I'm going to be posting them here, so let me know what you guys think!

Here's the first one I did:

UMAGA ~ First off, Umaga needs to switch brands. By jumping to Smackdown he can look unbeatable again, as there's no one on the SD roster that has a win over him. Obviously, Cena has already beaten Umaga (soundly) in their feud over on Raw, so Umaga has probably peaked as far as the Raw brand is concerned. As long as Cena is the top guy on Raw, Umaga will not be viewed as a legit title contender because he's already proved he can't beat Cena. Hence the need for a brand swap. Plus this gives Umaga the opportunity to beat new opponents. You can feed him any variety of SD's mid-carders, such as Londrick, Matt Hardy, etc.

The way the switch could work, is after WM, Vince could be so angry with Umaga for losing to Lashley that he could strip him of the I/C title, and send him to SD. Umaga could win a few squash matches in his first month on SD to build recognition with the SD audience. The next step is to enter Umaga into a feud with Chris Benoit. Benoit is a legit tough guy with a lot of credibility with the fans, so by beating Benoit, Umaga would establish himself as a main eventer on SD. Then, pending on Batista's heel/face status, Umaga could potentially face him.

Ideally Umaga would have enough momentum by Summerslam to face The Undertaker for the title. The two characters would have some entertaining chemistry in the ring, due to their unusual gimmicks if nothing else. Add to that Umaga has been built up as a fearless monster, and Taker has always been the one to inject fear into his opponents through mind games and his overall presence. The fans could see Umaga as a legit threat to Taker's title too, making this feud a good draw for ppvs.

Surely, a casket match would take place between them at some point, everyone knows Umaga is secretly afraid of coffins (see Yokozuna, Kamala...), Umaga gives Taker good competition, outside of current face Batista, stale top SD heel Booker T and Finlay, who would feud with Taker while Umaga was being introduced to the SD audience and prepped for the top heel spot. Finlay vs Taker, however, shall be saved for another post.
Edge responded to the steroid reports.
I wonder what the other half of Rated HGH has to say for himself?
I wonder what the other half of Rated HGH has to say for himself?
He basically makes the allocations look like a joke... I mean c'mon, Edge on steroids? Please, the guy hardly has any muscle at all at this point. Just as he said blessed with the 6'5, 240lb body.

A lot of our pics didn't turn out and my batteries were about to die, but these are the best ones IMO. Spoiler tags since SD hasn't been on yet and whatnot.

Only one picture of CM Punk? You sicken me! How many pictures did you get of Kevin Thorn, only for you to look into your camera lens and NOT SEE HIM AT ALL!

Unfortunately there weren't many ECW pics taken -- everything with a timestamp was from my friend's cam as mine was basically dead by that point. It was also his first show and he was starting to get into by then and taking pics became more of an afterthought -- can't blame him there as our seats were pretty damn good.
So, Wrestlemania at the Orange Bowl. I hear the main event is gonna be The Raw Superstars vs the Miami Hurricanes Football Team in a battle royale.
Wrong stadium/city.
They used to play in the Orange Bowl, so it still works.
Wrestlemania 24 is being held at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida.

:whistle2:? Looks like another lackluster Smackdown judging from the spoilers.

For those who are wondering the main event is
King Booker & Finlay vs. Taker & Batista

 God that DVD was awful.

Speaking of awful, it's being thrown around that the main event for the Backlash PPV is
Taker & Batista vs. Cena & Michaels for the 3rd time. Seriously, get the match everyone wants to see, Taker vs. HBK. It was teased at the Royal Rumble, but they need it to book that instead. Then stick Cena & Batista in a suckfest match where neither sells moves and it ends when the fans boo them out of the arena.
Remember, this is the PPVs are all 3 brands now.

See, this is a fundamental problem with mixing brands at the PPVs. It's going to erase the advantage that the WWE claimed would be the case when the brand split began: creating more superstars. You think you'll see cruiserweights on smackdown PPVs now? That you'll see "hardcore" matches (whatever that means anymore) on ECW PPVs? That you'll see tag team titles being defended on Raw PPVs?

Personally, if I were in the middle/bottom of the card (let's just say "Shelton Benjamin or someone lower"), I'd be furious about this policy change. It won't, IMO, do anything to promote the long-term growth of PPV buys, but it will take away the less-frequent (and thus more-cherished) PPV paydays for those nobodies, and give it to guys (Cena/Batista/Taker/HBK) who already have them guaranteed.

Disappointing; but, really, if you're dropping $40 for any WWE PPV at this point, you're a fool. $40 is insane.
I spent the past three days in NYC... Are ECW/WSX/RAW worth downloading?
No "Welcome back Phrostie"? Not even a quick yes or no? I feel so unwanted.

Did I read the Edge thing wrong? It sounded like he had perscrpitons and used steroids after a surgery. To my knowledge, that is a very legal use for them. If htat's the case, why would anyone care if he used them then? As I said, did I miss something there?

I really worry here, Myk is right. The point of the split brand was that there was no new stars coming up. You had the same stars as before. I suppose the brand worked from the vantage point that you have newer stars now. Guys like Cena, Batista, Edge, Orton, Umaga, Lashley, have gotten a chance to climb the ladder a bit.

Honestly, if every brand is going to be crossed over at every PPV, is there really a brand split anymore? Why even kid ourselves, just let everyone wrestle everywhere.

WWE Films is currently in production of their next move titled Jornada del muerto (a/k/a Journey of the Deadman ).

The plot is outlined as “a modern-day Western where gangs, drug trafficking and broken codes of honor rule.”

Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Dave Batista, and Bobby Lashley are all scheduled to be in the cast. John Milius will be directing and it is set for release in 2009.

How will they write those guys out of storylines so they'll have time to film it? Of course, 3 of those 4 will probably be too old to wrestle full time anyways.

From TNAWrestlingNews.com

Many observers in TNA are continuing to question Kurt Angle's current health.

According to reports, Angle still dresses in what is described as the "star" locker room with Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Kevin Nash and Christian Cage. When Angle does appear in front of other wrestlers, he is described as mumbling and looking incoherent.

Some TNA officials attribute Angle appearing this way because he uses chewing tobacco. However, one TNA wrestler added quote, "Something is going to happen to Kurt Angle and this company is going to feel terrible that they didn’t do anything."

Well honestly TNA, you deserve to shoulder the burden when Kurt expires, do you honestly think Vince would've released Kurt Angle to get healthy if he wasn't in absolutely terrible physical condition?
Wasn't she the one hired because of her connections with Batista?
Yeah, it was her. Can't say she'll be missed, she was awful at interviews(even worse than the one TNA has now).

As for the movie, if they start shooting soon, I guess that means we'll be seeing Cena & Taker defending their titles(come on, you know who is going to win at WM). Can't say I like seeing Cena still as champ(give Edge or even Orton the title).

As in the news,
Mark Henry
will be returning from his injuries last year when Smackdown does their european tour.

Mark Henry gained quite a bit of weight while he was out with an injury. He looks to be in the neighborhood of 450 to 460 pounds. WWE's website bills him as being 380 pounds. He also looked immobile in his return match against Daniel Rodimer in OVW a few weeks ago. He was also seen sporting a huge knee brace.

This just in:

Mark Henry is fat and immobile.
AND HUNGRY!
You just NOW realized that? ;)

Mark Henry was fucking born with a T-Bone Steak in his mouth for God sakes. Then he demanded for the potatoes and pudding after he finished the T-Bone Steak while they were cutting the cord.

And now for some more TNA news....

Courtesy of TNAWrestlingNews.com of course.

Before Jay Lethal came out recently at an iMPACT! taping, Kevin Nash told the live crowd if they made noise for him he would donate $1,000 to charity.

Jermey Borash said the same thing which got the crowd chanting his name.

There was a recent Xplosion match with Lethal & Sonjay Dutt vs. Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin where they were going super fast and doing zero selling.

Konnan and Cornette told them to slow it down when they got backstage but they said they were told to do it by Jeff Jarrett who said the X Division should be like a video game.

Konnan was told for the last time that Senshi cannot join LAX.

They said the main reason is because they don't think he can work a non X Division/Main event style.

Any knee injury will cause you to gain weight. I know this from experience. It's hard to maintain your previous weight in a safe and natural manner when you can't run without pain for a long time.
