I'm good to go on Reckoning and any $10 used game that strikes my fancy.
Seriously who let you back in?
This is my first go around with atgamer coupons. Does stock get wiped out pretty quick?
Really seems to depend on your area. I've never had a problem getting the big deals late. I was able to stroll in last day of the :360:SSX deal and grab a copy no prob. Others seem to sell out very quick.

I'm in IL, and have always got the BB deals. Guess I'm lucky :bouncy:
Not to derail this thrilling mail delivery section of the thread, but what's everybody using the $5 off used coupon on? I'm getting Bully for ~$9, credit of course. Pour one out for our homies in Vancouver. Bully is by far Rockstar's best game. They didn't deserve this.
Thanks for the suggestion. If you really wanted to support the developers though, wouldn't buying it new be the more appropriate way to reward them?

For those who couldn't find 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand from Toys R Us $10 for a new copy, it's $19.99 pre-owned from Best Buy.

Tried using my coupon on KoA yesterday and got shut down because the coupon wasn't technically valid yet. Was surprised, since it seems everyone else is using theirs, and I've used a coupon in the past before it actually activated. Oh well, making another trip back Sunday.

Wait, you were surprised when a coupon that isn't valid yet didn't work for you? Wow, what a shocker.

After reviewing the last 3 pages of this thread, I didn't see anyone who said that the coupon actually worked for them early.

take it easy on him, I'm sure he wasn't thinking the cashier would actually read the date. I'm sure it be more definitive if the system rejected it..I'm going to try today any way and ask them pretty please if they verbally deny me..

havent gotten an email w the coupons yet. and never got a physical copy of the mag i signed up for in April or so. I did get last months coupon, and i emailed the mag about not getting physical copies w no reply yet. think i would have gotten the coupons if they start tomorrow

I'd like to just go ahead and try the coupon today but getting out and about is kinda tough for me since I'll have my two kids with me (and they are not at pretty ages to be taking into a store like BB by myself, at 1 1/2 and 2 1/2). I guess I can always just hop over tomorrow early though.

Plus at my store they almost always check the coupon dates. In fact once the girl looked at the date and read it wrong so she was about to deny me! I kinda gave a "wha?!?" look and she looked again and saw she was looking at the activation date not the good-until date.

My issue is more his comment "it seems everyone else is using theirs," which made at least two of us waste time looking back through the thread for (non-existent) evidence of this.

Got my first mag in the mail yesterday finally!!!

Free KOA for me tomorrow thanks to the 10 dollar credit I got from my B2G2 this past Sunday.

Would really like to use the used game coupon on something, but no idea what. Any good suggestions?

Uh sure, just point me to where I can buy a new copy of Bully Scholarship edition for 360 from Best Buy.
Bout to head out to BB and try the coupons and get the B2G1 promo going on
pretty sure the coupons were attempted by a few users a few days ago.....let us know though. was headed up there today myself

Ironically you're the one who is trolling here because you keep bringing it up.

Let go of your rage and quit whining; it's annoying.

Everyone else has moved on except for you and that cancerman troll.

Anyone who signed up for the digital subscription have any luck w/ receiving the coupons? I've already seen this month's digital issue and there are no coupons inside. I've contacted @Gamer and they told me that they only handle the magazine and not the coupons, and that I should contact BB. Called BB and BB Reward Zone and both said they don't have anything to do w/ coupons and to call @Gamer. You know where this is going. So I called all three places again and spoke w/ different people. Finally the rep at BB Reward Zone Premier Silver escalated the problem to his supervisor and said I should be contacted within the next few days. What a disaster. I've already switched my subscription to the physical copy and I guess I'll have to buy this month's issue for the coupons. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try talking with the gaming staff at Best Buy. Show proof of membership like a receipt and they may be sympathetic to the situation and let you use a house coupon. Good luck!
Do they have the mags in-store already?
Yes, I went in today to look for Shadows of the Damned and noticed a stack of the new magazine out. YMMV if its out where you're at though.

My store holds back the mag for when the coupons go live so everyone has a fair shake. Just an FYI if you haven't seen them at your store yet. Although, I'm having doubts about picking up KoA having played (and still playing) Dragon's Dogma. . .

Dont know if this will sway you one way or the other but they play completely different.

Ha, that might be a good or bad thing. DD is almost my ideal type of game in every respect for ARPG: dark, brutal fantasy sandbox. I've really not been this enthralled since Demon's Souls.

In that case you may not like it as much. Have you tried the demo for KoA yet? It's a good representation of the full game.

Funny being called a troll by the guy who gave everyone a dissertation on the origins of the Kingdoms of Amalur and how we were all stupid for calling it KoA. Yeah and I am the troll.

My demo is installing the game heh. At $10 I'm not really concerned about the money as much as when would I get around to playing it.

I have to say DD is better than KoA mainly thanks to the huge enemies you have to fight while KoA is pretty much linear with decent size enemies. I beat DD about 5 times while KoA only once lol, pretty much tells you what I'm trying to say. I'm still picking up KoA again mainly for the DLC and get more trophies for the game plus its only 10 bucks, fuck it. Well 15 because I'm buying the magazine.

I've never really been interested in the BB @GAMER coupon deals because I have never really saw anything I wanted, but KoA:R is a game that I have really been wanting to play and for $10 I would love to pick it up.

So, am I correct in saying that I can go to my BB store and pick up the magazine with coupons inside on 7/15/12 when the coupons go active? It is normal for them to stock the magazines in-store I suppose?

I really am doubting my ability to play all the games in my backlog. Maybe if I forgo the next gen of systems I will get through it. I am adding at least 6-10 games before the years is over. The BBY 100% trade bonus helped to thin it out but it was then followed with a fattening due to the B2G2 used glitch.

Done it a bunch of times, you can be sneaky and rip the coupon off the magazine without buying it but you better act quick. I tried it once for Dragon Age 2 and I couldn't rip the damn thing off without making it obvious so I end up buying the magazine and told the chick before scanning the game, I would like to use the coupon first and she end up taking the coupon out of the magazine for me but I still had to buy the mag lol.

As for stocking mags in store, yeah they should have the mags up by then. Hopefully or you can always ask them.

Since you don't know what a troll is and are not exactly a valuable member of the community, perhaps you should stop using the word troll - unless you're trying to be ironic.

5 times ha, I'm still working through my first game trying to do every quest. Sounds about right though seeing as I beat DS at least 7 times over getting the plat.

What game is DD?
I dont think they were asking if they could steal the coupons tomorrow...

Dragons Dogma
Still saying you can steal the coupons big boy if you really want to be a cheap and save 5 bucks.

Seriously?? You should just leave...big boy
Seriously?? You should just leave...big boy
People steal the coupons on blu ray movies to save some money for upcoming movies in theaters so it doesn't matter. I've seen people completely rip the damn thing off for the coupons at Best Buy off their gaming mags too. So I'm just saying you can save yourself 5 bucks, I'm still getting the magazine so I can read it while taking a dump big boy.

Thanks, was going to double check before I drive out there tomorrow! I could save $5 bucks by just ripping out the coupon, but then again I don't think I'll freak out over $5 considering I'll be getting a $40 game for $15*. Thanks for the info though I appreciate it!
