I know there's probably been clearance threads in the past, but I just got an email and saw a couple of these items, and haven't seem them reach this price before, at least not in Best Buy. I even searched all over CAG to see if someone else posted this but couldn't find it, if this isn't relevant or someone already posted, just deleted it, I know how people react to pointless threads anyway.

The deals at the Best Buy Clearance outlet changes a lot, sometimes weekly, maybe even daily, so many of the deals might not been there by the time you read the thread, and I might miss a lot of them as well. So I give special shoutouts to those that help contribute to the thread, and inform me of what is, or isn't there. Thanks a lot!

Again, if this is old just delete it, but there's definitely some new deals I haven't seen before, and couldn't find the clearance thread (if there is one) on the front page anyway. Thanks.

EDIT: also this is my first thread ever.

Thanks for the awesome comments guys!

As a Wiki thread now, feel free to edit it, or post new deals in the comments/or expired deals and I'll update the thread.

Dead Space 3 is the closest thing to an HP Lovecraft game we will ever get. The influence is clearly there. The last half of the game is just mind-meltingly awesome if you understand where the devs were going with the story. And the ending to the DLC....wow.

Filled my cart with 3 games. Ended up only with Zombi U because everything else was Store Pickup only. Boooo

I was able to get a price match @ Wal-Mart on Borderlands. Best Buy also had Bioshock Infinite PS3 for $10.99, but they removed it from their site a day prior when they ran out of stock.

I learned that when trying to price match Bioshock at Target,  they won't price match Best Buy's website (or any other retailer) if an item is marked as "clearance." That really pissed me off.

Guys is zoo tycoon worth it at 19 bucks?

I heard great things about it at launch. Unfortunately my ps4 is broken right now and thats the only thing that looks interesting on xbox one

It was fun on PC hundreds of years ago and I imagine it's the same.

Is Ultra worth it at $20? Also, I've heard bad things about Lords of Shadows, but it comes with some good content to boot so should I also be interested in that bundle too?

Dont know if its been mentioned but was in store today and saw Lords of the Fallen (PS4) shelf tagged at $17.99. I know the site says $27.99 on clearance.

Thanks, Derrick1979.

Picked up Lords of the Fallen (XBO) scanned $15.99...$12.xx after GCU. More titles to pile on to my new XBO backlog. :)

May have to see about the other titles listed for the XBO, that they have in-stock.

Hmm may be worth just going in and having a few prices checked myself... :)

The site has South Park: The Stick of Truth clearanced at $14.99 for the 360, but I picked it up tonight for GCU $5.59 (shelf tagged $6.99).

Lords of the Fallen is supposed to be getting a complete edition...that's probably why it's clearanced. Might already be out in Europe...

really wish best buy had a price scanner, employees get so irritated i dont even want to ask most of the time. and half of the time i do they just tell me the price is what is marked. maybe if they did their job it would be marked correctly, but they dont.

Its not the sales associates job to update the prices. To them what is shown should be accurate, not they're fault.

got this yesterday at BB for that price. such a good game so cheap... hope it goes BC... otherwise i guess i lost 6 bucks.

I would just get it cheap if you want it. Unless more DLC has come out recently all the DLC is super minimal and not worth it.

Son of a bitch, had I seen this before I left my house today I totally would have picked up. Oh well, hopefully it stays that way as I work one block away from my Best Buy.

I've been periodically checking this thread for Lego Hobbit (XboxOne) but I think all I saw was the PS4 game clearanced. I just checked BB.com and they had it for $13.99/$11.19 w/GCU so went ahead and got it. Figured I'd post this in case anyone else has been looking for the One version.

So they have a merchandising team who changes price tags on racks and sales associates have nothing to do with it? Is Best Buy still having financial woes?
Well (aside from anything that may have changed more recently) merchandising is responsible for all the tags, all the signage, setting and maintaining displays, whatever other merchandising tasks there are, and assisting with trucks and inventory duties. Most of them really only work a few hours a week other than on truck days.

Sales associates have some minor upkeep responsibilities within their departments but unless it's absolutely dead during a shift they want you focused entirely on dealing with customers.

Of course that's all in theory and varies depending on how much each store actually does their jobs.

Cross train sales associates with minor merchandising associates job functions (updating prices) And the store could stay updated more often with more knowledgable sales associates being able to push sale products to foot traffic.

As a BB employee I agree with this statement. Sales team does nothing on their downtime unless their supervisor or manager is watching.

If sales associates don't update the price tags who does? The managers do it themselves? Maybe I'm missing something here.
It's the merchandising team that's supposed to do it.
this is amazing to me, i noticed today elder scrolls was still priced at last week's sale prices and none of this weeks prices were up. i guess this merchandising team must not work much.

i know for sure they are not trying to keep employee hours under control. i went in during the week right at opening and they were having a meeting, must have been 25-30 people. then i am shopping and there are like 3 people on the floor and one cashier. i guess it was break time or something.

Whenever I’m at BB and need a price check or to know where its an item it ALWAYS feels like I’m asking a favor of the employee to assist me.

IDK , but even Kmart employees assist you better (if you can find one).

The prices are meant to be changed hours before the sales associates even arrive at the store.

Jesus you all must have some crap Best Buys near you. The one I work at is amazing. Everything is uptodate. I and my fellow employees enjoy helping/hanging out with clients. I even met a fellow cag'er trying to find a few games on clearance. Went through every way possible to get them for him. The store mood/atmosphere you all have must be terrible.

Did you expect 30 people to be working all at once? What you witnessed was a mandatory meeting that goes on every 3-4 months. They honestly should never run over into store hours. The reasoning for so few employees was because some of them were probably in the back getting their opening areas ready or changing into work clothes. The meetings are supposed to end 30 mins before store open to prevent something like this from happening and looking bad.

Seriously though, if you guys are ever in the Richmond area, come to the Brook Rd Best Buy. It sounds like a world of difference.

honestly i was shocked they had that many employees. i only see the same 9-10 people every time i am in there.

Some prices have dropped.  Someone else pointed out Project Spark was down to $10 from $20.  I found Borderlands Pre-Sequel for 360 was also down to $10 from $20.  AC4 on 360 is $5 which I think is a drop.  Titanfall and Diablo 3 (360) and Escape Dead Island are all $7, too.

Ryse (vanilla, X1) and Lara Croft and Temple of Osiris (steam card) are $12 each.

I can't say I've ever had a good experience at your store or would say it is markedly better than Any other BB. It's not like Brook rd store would make it worthwhile to drive from say Short Punp or Midlo even with 288 and 295

Thanks got the Prequel.

Is Project Spark fun if you don't really want to make stuff yourself? I remember people making Zelda games and a bunch of other nice looking things but haven't heard much about the game since its launch. also do you have to pay for created games or is it just for the stuff to make the games?
